DBC file

Hi all

EBS R12.2.4

RHEL 6

One of the application developer where the dbc in our level apps file.

Never heard of this file before

Do you know what is the purpose of this file?

Can you give me link and notes on how to install it?

Thank you very much

JC

Location of the DBC files is represented by the parameter $FND_SECURE.

It would be $INST_TOP/appl/fnd/12.0.0/secure

So the dbc file would be there in the FIRST two, Patch and run

  • Daabase (.dbc) file using GetChannelNamesByID.vi CAN access problem

    Hello

I use PCI CAN / 2 series2 map to read the sensor data. In my labview code I m using FrameToChannel API conversion to convert data of frame in real values, using a .dbc file. My software includes the data logger and the visualization of data from the sensors. I need to run this software contineously for 30 days and to monitor and record the data from the sensor.

My problem is that the GetChannelNamesByID.vi is not working properly. My works of fine data logger (rading and record sensor data) but the visualization of sensor data real using the conversion FrameToChannel library stops sometimes. My software cannot read the channels from the database file. It happens randomly, for example after 12 hours.  I have to stop the software and run it again to make it work very well.

Can someone me the reason and the solution for this?

    Hello

This Jdeveloper won't work for the development of the ofa and personalization, you must download a Jdeveloper separated by this requirement, so please read the note I mentioned in the previous quote in metalink and to download the compatible Version of Jdeveloper, depending on the version of your application in which oracle you make customization or development. The note will have an adjacent link to the version from here, you can easily download the Jdeveloper, it will be around 600 MB in size.
If you can share your exact version apps, we can tell you the correct version of Jdeveloper, but reading that not in metalink will be useful for you.

    Thank you

    Hello

You can run the adgendbc.sh script to recreate the DBC files - see (troubleshooting connection [178437.1 ID]) for more details.

However, I would suggest you run AutoConfig and it should recreate the DBC files for you. If you get errors when running AutoConfig please post the error here.

  • How to configure jdeveloper 11 with the .dbc files?

    Hi all

I am a new bie here. 4 jdeveloper 10, I can configure files .dbc to the setting of the project, while 4 jdeveloper 11, it's totally different. I can't find any place to set it up. How to configure the .dbc in jdeveloper 11?

    Kind regards
    Chelsea

You cannot use jdev 11g for the development of the OFA...
You must download the patch of jdeveloper on metalink to develop objects of the OFA.

See this metalink note to find the correct version of jdeveloper, you need to download https://metalink2.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=NOT&p_id=416708.1

    THANKS IN ADVANCE

    Hello

MY QUESTION IS WOULD YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE USER OF THE APPLICATION AND USER ORACLE?

Application user--> is the user who can connect to the application (but not in the database). All users of the application are in the FND_USER table.

Database--> is user who can connect to the database. All users of the database are in the table DBA_USERS.

I believe that this question has been answered in this forum as many times before, so please research if you still want to get more details.

  • where to add the db CAN format when creating an exe file.

I created an executable file to run on a PC not of LabView. When I run the file, I can't seem to select the database when I right click on the target computer. On my development machine, the exe seems to know where is the PB.

I guess that the Pb, I installed on computer target in the right folder. Is there a 'best practice' to avoid this error?

    Thank you

    Thanks Hooovahh,

I did include the DBC in the LabVIEW project and then include it in the EXE. I have also included in the installer, but what I is not install NOR-XNET on the target computer. I understand NEITHER-XNET DURATION in the installer. My question was on start up I have a dialog box select the database using a right-click of the mouse on the control (according to the test, the CBD may be different).

the right click appear the selection "Browse for Database File... ", but it would not execute the file dialog popup after, so I had no database selected and initialization crashed.

After the installation of NOR-XNET, the popup has worked and I was able to select the database what ever I wanted. Bottom line, I will include OR-XNET, not only the version of the Runtime for all of my installers using CAN.

Thanks for the help programming, I will try and include your departure to check what aliases exist in XNet using the Get database list. This seems really smart to make sure that the wha DBC file are available.

  • Using the library of Conversion CAN channel frame with arxml-files?

We use LabVIEW and the library of Conversion CAN frame channel to measure and display the CAN the .dbc file-based channels.

Now the OEM changed the file format of .dbc to AUTOSAR XML (.arxml) and we will not have a .dbc file.

Is it possible to read files in NI-CAN .arxml or convert format .dbc?

    Hi Ludwig72,

Unfortunately the NI-CAN just supports the .dbc and .nbc files. If you convert the .dbc .arxml, this should work, or if there is no option to switch to the NOR-XNET driver, it would be possible to import .xml files.

Just in case you have this ability, here is the link to the latest version of the driver NOR-XNET:

    http://Joule.NI.com/nidu/CDs/view/p/ID/3757/lang/de

You should check, if your hardware, software and operating system is supported by this version in the manuals.

    Best regards

  • XNET DBC Enums

I'm going to guess the answer is no but nobody knows is there's sort of simple or at least feasible to maintain a shape any values enum signal from a DBC file when you work with XNET instead of logging just the value of a signal, the best that I can understand is the analysis of the CBD and write enums of value as a channel in the diary of PDM properties.

    -Va

I eventually drop the CAN signals from my journal PDM, using it instead as a mainstream newspaper and created a separate journal to write the CAN in vector format CAD data, so I can just associate the DBC file ASC file when it is loaded into the couch.  As you said, get the info of the enumeration was feasible, but the TDMS format has no support for this type of logging.
