• Iterator for the table and form is a problem during the cleaning of the records

  I use JDev 12.1.2.

  I have an object of the detail view. I represent a part of its fields in a table and the rest in a form. I use the same iterator. Basically, I dragged and dropped the object even from the view of the data control and created a table and form layout with the fields I wanted in each provision. I put in place a clear feature for the rows in the table with a clear"" key. -on click I delete the line of the iterator in the managed bean. When I do this the selected record is deleted and the next record is displayed. But fields entered in the form layout also gets deleted. (the form should also be showing the record currently selected - it shows but entrable fields in the form are deleted because of claire that I did on the previous line.) If anyone can help get this resolved?

  Not use the same iterator for the tables and forms here? The links are in the row (row.bindings...) for the table, but for the form it is (links...). The Delete on the current row operation is causing the iterator delete all fields of links instead of from the line? Please shed some light.

  I want to do this under manual insert. I changed the block of data to a data non-base. Where should I write the insert statement to insert data into the table.

  You can make a custom searchArea.vm and a custom formGroup.vm model where you uncheck the box for #if ($JHS.current.pageComponent.hasSearchArea)

  You will then get a search box in the table and the page of the form.

  No, Oracle Portal creates a package for your component of forms in the application's schema. The name of the table is stored in the package. Assistants do allow you to edit the table.

  Yes, you can change the code to package body. Especially when the columns do not change, it is easy enough to change the database table. I did the following test on the portal 11.1.1.x with the form of the example on the Emp table in the provider database PORTAL_DEMO:

  1. create a copy of the EMP table:

  SQL > conn portal_demo
  SQL > create table my_emp in select * from emp;

  2. in the portal user interface, go to the browser and navigate to the following location:

  Path: providers > locally built providers > Application example

  3. create a copy of the form on the EMP Table example

  * Click on manage link
  * Go to manage subtab
  * Click Copy to create a copy of the form

  4. in the portal navigation, click on the link manage to the new form that was created in step 3

  5. click on the link called Package body to get the body of your form package

  6 open the code in an appropriate editor or a tool such as SQL Developer and do a search and replace for string EMP. replace by MY_EMP.

  7 run the code updated the package in your portal repository database when it is connected as a user PORTAL_DEMO

  Well Guyz I got my submission today... everything went well... .but yet they want to add IE more features want to donate this application at different times working in the company on different projects... .initailly told me that u have to create this application for just our project, now they use my work to give to other PMsss:(et prendre tout le crédit avec aucun faisait pour moi u n personnes m'a beaucoup aidé dans la construction de cette application...) Well, they want to create an application where they can change some columns... that is to say over write the existing value in a column with a new value.
  Now, suppose I have col1, col2 in the table paymast, how should I proceed to create trigger for when I press the button on the form is updated to the number of given employee (I want to say if enter the respective information for the particular EMP as soon as I press the button the old values shud b replaced by new values...)
  
  A method that I have noe is to use the wizard to create the form n, and then enter the value of the respective areas of the column to be updated n, then press F6 DB... .i do not want to use this function...

  I don't know a lot of your application, but if you build it near standard forms (e.g. base your blocks on the tables), then its standard Frédérique you type the new value in the field and press save. the button... do you want to the "economy"? then put a DO_KEY ('COMMIT_FORM'); in it.

• How to count records in a Table or form

  I have a Table that went to my context in the form of ADOBE.  I need to be able to count the number of records in this table.  I didn't see the actual table in this case on the shape, I just need than the number of records.  And, I need to do this using JavaScript and I don't know anything about Java (although if FormCalc works I can use this as well).     My Tablename is a customer and in my form, it's in the hierarchy data .main .customerbody .customerline.  If I have to have these data in the table on the form, then I can just put it on the form and invisiible.  I really need to count the number of records well and return this # to a text field in the form.

  Does anyone know how to do this and can you give me an example is Java for FormCalc?  The more specific you can be with the example script best for this beginner.  THX!

  I was no longer complicate things, and I found a simple answer to my problem.  I do this on SAP with Livecyle form so here's what I did

  In the Interface, I created a global variable called gv_count.  I then added, during the initialization of form Interface, copy the following code:

• Impossible to delete the record from the table using the form

  I have a stored procedure (function, actually) that allows an administrator to manually delete a record in a table.
  
  When I call my form there will be no effect. The record remains in the table.
  
  In both cases, I connect to the database to the same user.
  
  I am able to call a test function in the database which returns a field in the record, so I think I can at least communicate with and retrieve results from the database using a stored function. As soon as I approach him "select" "delete from", no luck.
  
  If I try to run the SQL in my form with a statement of FORMS_DDL, it seems to run smoothly when I not in the code in the debugger, but it had no effect. FORMS_SUCCESS reports TRUE if DBMS_ERROR_TEXT has the following: ORA-01403: no data found. I don't know how the DBMS_ERROR_TEXT is that FORMS_SUCCESS is not set to FALSE.
  
  Any ideas as to why I am unable to remove using my form but can when you call the function registered directly/manually?

  I'm trying to recreate what I did on the portals of the OAS in Weblogic/ADF. I have JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0. What I do seems to be a little different than the tutorials: I need something like the tutorial master-detail, but instead the details appearing on the same page, it should appear in a popup. I managed to build the part table/popup. But when the popup appears, it displays the wrong record. Here are the steps I used to create this page:
  
  After you create the ADF Fusion Middleware project:
  
  1 create templates for the tables I need.
  2. create the JSF Page.
  3 drop panelCollection on the page.
  4. remove my data to see in panelCollection control and choose the Table read-only ADF. Select the sorting and selection options.
  5 change table properties: selected = DisplayRow, EditingMode = clickToEdit
  6 drag the Popup on the page.
  7. remove my data from view in popup control and choose the form of the ADF. Select the send option.
  8 drop showPopupBehavior on the page. Name of the popup. The value triggerType to the 'selection '. (triggerType "click" works, too)
  9 deploy.
  
  The table is displayed. I click on a line. The pop-up window appears. The form of popup displays the first record in the table. I click on any line.
  
  I just bought the merger Oracle 11g Developer Guide, but were not able to answer this question yet.

  The LEAVE is a reserved word in MySQL. You can try to quote, but you are better to rename it.

• LOV opened from column in the table always showing only 25 records

  Hello. I'm on Jdev 11 g R1.

  I have main VO with an attribute with LOV (entry LOV). The LOV VO defined in tuning as 'all lines' and range is set to-1

  Main LOV fell into the page and column is made in the form of entry-level LOV as expected. Everything works ok.

  But when I opened the LOV is showing 25 records. I have to scroll to the end and click on the button "Search" once again to see the rest of the records (total 48). It shows not all records and scrolls automatically when I start to scroll down, but stops at 25 records.

  I can't change the size of the beach of LOV since it is located in the table, so there is no access to the iterator LOV.

  How can I force LOV to see all records?

  As far as I KNOW, there is a bug in 11.1.2.x (and if you have a support contract, you can request the fix for it)

  Also associated with R1: list of input values does not fetch all records of documents only 25 are read

  Is this possible?  To create a section of the E10 form, there isn't a way of conceiving the fields into account in the form.

  We have an internal process to capture the customer account information on a quarterly cycle of our area reps.  We would like to set up a form so that they can write to the table account, while having only not to change after submission.

  Hello J,

  You can move values across tables using rules of deduplication (for identical records) and managers (update record). Here are under Contacts > data tools > rules of deduplication. You are right that the forms will only allow you to update Contact fields, but you can add a processing step to your form 'Add program', where your program includes a step of type 'run a game/deduplication rule '.

  That said, we recommend that you not data update CRM account Eloqua (I am not sure if that's your intention, but wanted to mention). Your CRM data into account should be the gold standard - data are updated only in that application and not by Eloqua or a different database. If you're just doing this for reporting purposes with Eloqua, it is fine, but you will notice that it didn't there no external call for 'update account' in Eloqua.

  I use Jdeveloper 12.1.3.0.0 on windows internet explore 10.

  I have the following form and the read-only table. the form and the table that are both on the same object from view.

  

  When the user clicks a row in the table, I want to choose this line in the form above for editing purpose.

  How would I do that? the first column of the table is a primary key.
