  I watched the two videos and it looks very simple and easy create a Spry data set. I imported my CSV data into a table in a table and have an html page showing all my data in a table like in the videos. When I start the process of 'Insert Spry Dataset' I select this html table as my data file, I get an error message that says: it takes a unique id. Although no other information I looked at including two videos say is that 'unique id' or how to create one or the fact that I really need one. The exact error message is "no selectable items found. Make sure that you have assigned ID for the items you want to select. I even created a table from scratch, thinking imports has created a problem. Same error message and the result. Read the help file basically said the same thing. I found nothing that says what he meant by "unique id".

  I have a question to anyone who is familiar with the data sets spry - a link below for the example I use:

  My question is:

  Is it possible to make the first button appear 'active' when the page opens. For example, each button corresponds to a State of 'Black' when it is not active, a reddish "stable" condition and a dark gray "active" State. All the buttons are black 'inactive' when the page opens, but the first description of the image and it is visible, then I would be the first button to appear 'active' (gray dark instead of black).

  The way it is now, if you click the first link after the page opens, the button changes to the 'active' State and/or colour, but its content does not change it looks like a mistake...

  Any help would be greatly appreciated - Please note: this is a demo page, I'm trying, please disregard the appearance and content - just trying to get the feature...

• Sort order of dates

  With the latest updates for VISTA 64 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, when I try to sort the files in chronological order, it sorts by month (1-12), then day (1-31), THEN year, so that on 01-02-08 shows as more recent than 01/01/09 and 01/03/09 is less recent of the foregoing. Y at - it a patch or fix? It is majorly annoying.  As far as I know, I have all the current patches and updates. Sort order must be the YEAR, MONTH, DAY, even if the screen is in the format DAY, MONTH, YEAR.  Help, please.

  Hello M.Nelder,

  If you have your order of sorting by type it will sort the date depending on the file first, then by Date.

  When you try to sort by modified Date, try this:

  Mouse over the modified Date header in order to see the menu drop down.

  Select the drop-down arrow, and then select group.

  You should now see all group by time period regardless of the type of file.

• Scroll Spry data set?

  I have a large set of data created with Spry in Dreamweaver CS6 and want to scroll in rows.  Put a Div inside the data set and adding the overflow/ScrollBars property adds a scroll bar that includes the header of the data set and who is compensated.  Is it possible to create a scroll bar that scrolls all lines except the header and is not compensated for that?

Everything works, including the row headers clickable to use lines and activation of the changes in the retail area. BUT I can't get the hand cursor appears (at the place of arrow or the sliders of the i-beam) on interactive areas. Tried creating null links (href = "#") to activate the hot words (it works) but which causes actual links on the page to insert the root of my site in front of the URL to other sites.

• Add icon w/link to the table of the Spry data set

  I placed an icon inside a table data cell, then tried to give him a hyperlink to a clip. However, the link appeared as underlined text in the cell of the table under the icon.

  Then I tried to type the HTML code in code view, and this is what it looked like. It also did not work the display page:

• Sort by default album order

  When I select an Album in Photoshop Elements (ss14), he has "Last" as the default sort order. I know that I can change this by selecting 'Order of the Album' in the dropdown menu, but it's rather tedious. Would it not possible to change the sort order by default for the Albums to for example "order of the Album? When I browse through the forum, I have the impression that this problem is as old as PE8.

  You are right...

  Except that if I'm in "ranking album" in an album and if I switch to another album, I'll stay in sorting "album". Several tests will be required...

  P.S. We are talking about the same version of PE? I do not recognize the ability to sort by 'a far more recent everything first, with the more old/new first for every day'.

  I'm on version 14, but this is not new. The option is set in the Edit menu > Preferences > general tab.

  A glance at 6 elements indicates that the option was already there.

• Spry and sets of xml data

  I create a kind of image gallery. I'm trying to change an example provided by David Powers in his book The Essential Guide to Dreamweaver CS3, in chapter 19. I can get his example works very well. Then when I try to edit it, I get where the last step. She leaves work when I put in the code to bring up the menu drop-down functional. When I do this, all the photos disappear from the page, the miniatures and the main image with its legend.   No, it has nothing to do with it. dsFacility::@file contains the value
  attribute of file in the label of each piece. So this is '{dsFacility::@file} '.
  simply kitchen.xml or something else. You must add the path to the variable
  inside the file or in the XMLDataSet() constructor attribute as I
  have done so.

  When you use windows Explorer to search for files I find things I named by date are sorted incorrectly.
  Here is an example of how that fate (sorted by name, having consulted the details page): names of files in the following order

  I have a lot of mail files, and I want them all to sort of the same way. However I can't find a way to set the sort order in the world, only individually per-folder. Is there a global sort order?

  Are you familiar with the configuration of Thunderbird Editor?

• Placement works does not in reports of paging and default sorting

  Hello - I have 2 pages of report (an a law report, a tabular form). On both, I updated all report columns sortable. The unique ID field is the default item to be sorted by (sort order 1). No other columns have a specified sort order.
  
  The default sort order doesn't work. Once the report is in place, if I click on the column header for a sortable column, correct sorting occurs. But the sorting is random when the report is rendered first.
  
  I also in these reports, the paging from base must be aligned to the left, not the right. I have change down to the bottom left, and nothing happens: still displayed on the right.

  I just set up a report on my workspace OTN. It is a report 'SQL Query (PL/SQL function body return SQL query)' that has a source of:

   vSQL := 'SELECT * FROM EMP';
   RETURN vSQL;
  END;
  

  I have "use generic column names (analysis of query runtime only)" selected.

  My report attributes have the headers as "Column names" (that is to say, the columns view COL01, COL02 etc.) and I checked the option of sorting for the first 15 (the EMP table has 14 fields, but I wanted to check if this may be a problem).

  I put the report model for ' model 4: Standard "(it is a theme application 4) and paging display Position of"bottom-left ".

  This seems to work ok in FireFox3 and IE7.

  So, I think there are one or more of the following:

  1 - the returned SQL statement is not quite correct - have you checked the output and run it manually?
  2 - the version of the Summit you are using is different from the version of my OTN (3.1.2) and there is a bug that is fixed between two versions
  3 - the theme contains errors concerning the underlining of links
  4 - the model does no paging on the left
  5. you are using different browser versions

  You can run the page above and see if everything works correctly for you - if that's the case, then this may limit.
