  By default, event viewer produced a considerable number of newspapers.

  The four elements of the menu in event viewer bar are file, Action, view and help.

  Clear a log only appears in the Action menu of drop-down menu if the cursor is placed in a newspaper that can be erased and a report in the list is not currently selected.   The three main Windows logs files are Application, security, and system. The default file for these logs size is 20, 480 KB, which is larger than necessary. A reasonable size is 2 048 KB. You can easily change the size immediately after clearing the log by using the scrollbar to the right of the maximum log size to change whatever size you choose. In the same time make sure that the box before overwriting is checked. All of your changes by clicking apply then OK. If you have not disabled the first newspaper the system prevents the selection of a maximum file size less than the size of the existing file.

  The system records the entries in the logs. The system monitors everything that happens. Individual applications do not write entries in the Event Viewer logs. It's the system that records the entries on startup applications, stop and crashing!

  You must do so via the Desktop Manager. I'll give you the steps using the Desktop Manager v4.5:

  1. connect your BlackBerry to the computer via the USB cable and open the Desktop Manager.

  2. click on backup and restore

  3. click on the advanced under the section titled Advanced button

  4. on the next screen, on the right, select address book, then click the button clear down.

  It will delete the address book and leave it empty.

  as long as the consumer will be, you should think of it as a kind of replica in read-only which can be updated only a master. All write operation will be actually redirected (through the referral) to masters of the topology.

  If you want to remove a single entry you must reconnect the replication and delete the entry on the master server.

  ATTENTION: there is a "time window", a replica can be left out of the topology of replication and automatically catching up with the updates:

  The default is one week, after that you will need to perform a re-initialization of the replica of the consumer.

  I posted a topic on it as well.  Seems like if update the CC has allowed me to finally extract any section marked in and out of any track independently of any other person when sync lock is disabled.  Very powerful (and very basic) tool!

  I deleted a registry entry while trying to get rid of some spyware.  Stupidly, I failed to export first, so I can't restore the registry.  The deletion has only caused a problem:

  When I try to open an executable file by double-clicking or by right click and select 'Open', I get an error message saying: "there is no program associated with this file to perform this action."

  If I click with the right button on the program or shortcut and select "Start" it starts very well.

  If you encounter errors in your calendar or address book on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire address book (or calendar) base on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all the calendar entries or entries from the address book on your BlackBerry.

  1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

  2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

  3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.

  3 select right your address book database (or your Calendar database), and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

  4. once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to erase, and then clean up the database of book full address (or calendar).

  5. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to make sure that the address book (or calendar) has been duly cleared out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  My question is with the archivelogs backup options.
  My goal here is to let the archivelogs that have been backed up nightly on the server for 24 hours extra after their backup. (The reason is for our database of backup in case I have to restore it and have the handy archivelogs without restoring them.)
  
  My statement of current backup for archiving logs is:

   archivelog all
   delete all input
   format '$DESTDIR/%T_%d_ARCH_%s_%p.af';

  I've considered adding * front ' SYSDATE-1' in the above statement as follows:
  

   delete all input before 'SYSDATE-1'

  This would keep the archivelogs on the server for an extra day?
  And it would remove the archive automatically that are older than one day?
  
  I also have the following lines after the execution of my main media:

  REMOVE all THE ENTRIES, RMAN deletes every file saved newspaper archived redo log archiving destinations. Alone option
  only in archived redo logs.

  Then you may want something like that

  BACKUP ARCHIVELOG ALL ENTRIES TO DELETE UNTIL ' SYSDATE - 2';

  I'm not a fan of the ENTRY to REMOVE myself.

  I use:

  delete noprompt ARCHIVELOG until TIME ' SYSDATE-2;

  Is there a way to make Oracle choose the directory? The reason is that I want to keep 3 days newspapers on the drive, but the smaller location = / usr/archive/test only supports one day of logs. I also have the logs to another server to backup and save 1 week, but prefer to leave 3 days on the server database, but in the largest/u03/archive/test directory. If all the newspapers in the smallest directory files can be deleted after the backup if possible.

  Do not "delete entry", but delete the archivelogs directly (of course after the backup command). Use the option 'as string_pattern' in the command "delete archivelog' to specify the location:

  I use my contacts to track an assortment of relatives who I rarely meet.

  I have birthdays entered contacts for many of them, and they appear in the calendar as expected.

  Short of eliminating the birthday came into Contact, is it possible to remove it being included in the calendar?

  As much as I KNOW, birthdays is a parameter all or nothing via the calendar preferences.

  You can open any Contact, you do not want to see their birthday listed and remove the entry from the anniversary. You can also copy and paste the information in the birthday field and add the Notes section in the Contacts application. This will remove it from your calendar but still available to see card Contacts.
