Dell Inspiron 560 No. open/close the dvd player button

How can you "manually" open/close the dvd drive on the inspiron 560? It is not a button manually open/close the dvd player, and it's frustrating!

Laughing out loud! Thank you! I found it after doing some detective work! Thanks again!

    Hey,.

I've had my Dell Inspiron 560 with Windows 7 for about 4 months now and a few days ago I was turn my computer as always and as I do the light is solid blue and I can hear the fans start to move, but my screen is black. I know that the problem is not my screen because I unplugged and plugged back in as "Dell" screen and then the screen would go to power saving mode. I unplugged and plugged all the cables and I will always have this problem. I've also pressed the power button and I it would hold for about 3 seconds until I hear it turn off with a beep. Please help me.

Yes, the motherboard is a replaceable part and can cost $100 +, as well as S & H, these motherboards are generally used, alias "renovated".

But, if the motherboard needs to be replaced, before you buy, check the cost of the purchase of a computer, nine or of occasion.

  • What is the shortcut to open. close the sidebar?

I was very used to having F9 on every platform to open | close the sidebar.
As I am a keyboard people, the by clicking the icon to the sidebar is not a perfect solution. You had the shortcut and it has now disappeared.

I respectfully request for this return.

No troubleshooting information is necessary, because it is not a failure.

@Aleksej:... I'm sorry, I don't remember which version I used. If that was removed long ago, I was stüch with an older version of Firefox.

COR - el gave a clue. It could be the responsibility of the developer who creates content for the sidebar to have a shortcut to open | close the content itself... So I'll ask the people delicious to help me in this direction.

Thanks for your advice! (good questions that has pointed out to me on the 'node' of my question)

I have first items 13, recently installed on a new laptop of Dell Inspiron 17 5000 Series. The program works very well. However, when I have access to the program, I get a message that there is an update available, 13.1. I let him go ahead and do the update before using the program. It only updated, then restarts first elements 13. As soon as the program loads, I again get the message that 13.1 update is available. How to stop the happy ground?

    RTA,

Thank you very much for your answers. As you suggest, I went to the help/updates and found that 3 points were scored update, Manager, 13 Photoshop and first elements 13 elements. On a hunch, instead uncheck one of them, I thought I'd see what would happen to let update all 3. It took a while, but, long story short, stopped the happy Vangogh and everything seems fine. • How can I set up the DVD player, the 1st boot priority?

I don't know hoe to set my PC startup to restart from the DVD player. I have a product recovery disk, but not to make my PC open system restore. Help, please.
I changed my system registry uxtheme.dll and this problem started occurring.

Put the DVD in the drive and start it.

You may need to change a BIOS setting to make the first boot device, a DVD/CD player. To do this, when you turn on look for a configuration message indicating what key to start typing - F2 and del are commonly used. The message appears for very long and it you miss, you have to restart the computer.

In the BIOS, look for a section that contains the boot sequence, change to CD/DVD, save it and let the computer to restart. In addition, some pre-installed systems have another key (usually F12) that allows the user to open the start menu rather than change the BIOS boot sequence.

  • Does anyone have suggestions on what to do when the Windows 7 Installation DVD is not recognized by the DVD player.

I'm trying to do a custom installation of Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit on my Dell Inspiron 530, which is running Windows Vista Home 32 bit.  I ran the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, which was positive.

The DVD player does not recognize the installation of the new (purchased at microsoft) DVD, although he acknowledges other CD and DVD.
I tried to restart the computer and also the start of the player directly in the BIOS.
In the BIOS I have the following message:
    "No available boot device.
Press the ENTER key to try again
    SATA-0: installed
    SATA-1: installed
    SATA-4: no
    SATA-5: no

  • Stuck in the DVD player

OK it's not exactly in the drive, the drawer is opened and he is stuck between the metal case outside of the DVD player and Cabinet plastic of my M1710, above where it would normally slot. The disc is actually coming out about an inch and it can run without much resistance, but it's as if something has snagged in the hole in the middle of it and it will not just slide. The status bar can always slip in and out, but I don't want to close it because it'll push the disc more.

The model of the drive is TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS - L632D

Thanks for any help in advance.
