  You can always create a folder/defaults/profile and places the files in this folder to have in a new default profile. Folders that have no content are no longer present in the version of Firefox 4 RC, but some are still read and processed.

  I have a custom page that works well on my jdev. When I transfer them to the server, it gives me the error:
  
  oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: Application: DNF, Message name: FND_NO_REGION_DATA. Chips: BOUNDING is/oracle/apps/aear/dunnHistory/webui/dunningSearchPG;.

  I followed the following steps to deploy the page:
  1.) transferred the structure of the complete documentation to $JAVA_TOP in ascii mode.
  2.) transferred the class filed again in binary mode.
  3.) Changed the mode of the class to 777 files.
  4.) imported the XML files mds repository with the following command.
  
  adjava oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.XMLImporter $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/aear/dunnHistory/webui/dunningSearchPG.xml - $JAVA_TOP username - apps-password apps rootdir - dbconnection "(description = (address_list = (address = (community = tcp.world) (protocol = tcp) (host = aebsw1d.aetna.com)(port =1525))) (connect_data = (sid = ARDEV))) ' rootPackage - / oracle/apps/aear/dunnHistory/webui"
  
  I also used java instead of adjava.

  I know how to write a snort signature, and it is very easy to deploy than the signature. But I don't know if I can do the same thing for cisco ids, I mean easy customization signature and signature fast deployment.

  The simplest scenario is to use the new wizard's Signature custom in the latest versions of 4.1 of the sensor:

• My Custom JSP form reflects not on browser

  Hi all

  I created a custom test JSP file. Downloaded in the directory/applications/oacore/html where the AppsLocalLogin.jsp file exist. I've compiled all the JSP form by running the following command:

  ojspCompile.pl --compile --flush -p 2 -conf '/u01/install/VISION/fs2/inst/apps/EBSDB_ebs/appl/admin/ojspCompile.conf'
  

  And after these steps, I restarted my application services as well as database services.

  But my JSP form is not rendered on the browser. When I type http://ebs.example.com:8000/OA_HTML/testJSP.jsp url, then it shows error like this:

• How to deploy a custom in EBS 12.2.4 servlet?

  Hi all

  This may look like a trivial problem, but I am currently not able to migrate a servlet custom EBS 11.5.10 in 12.2.4.

  I have lived many threads OTN and other web searches, but I'm still stuck.

  This custom servlet is called from a page of the OFA in order to open a PDF file in a new browser window, in a unix directory.

  The class of java servlet has been deployed in $OA_JAVA/xx/oracle/apps...

  I run the adcgnjar utility

  WebLogic has been returned

  But I always get the message "404 page not found".

  Obviously, I am missing a step or I use a non-relevant url. (Note that I'm not familiar with servlets!)

  I try with this type of url: http:// < server >: < port > / oa_servlets/xx.oracle.apps. < custom_app_dir & gt; MyTestServlet

  Try steps below. These steps have worked in my 12.2.4 approx.

  1. copy $FND_TOP/admin/template/oacore_web_xml_FMW.tmp in $FND_TOP/admin/template/custom and add your servlet custom entries in this file.

  2. run autoconfig

  3. restart services and check again the issue.

  We are implementing iStore R12 (12.1.3).
  
  We have customized ibeCCtdMenu.jsp, renamed as xxibeCCtdMenu.jsp and moved to $OA_HTML / folder.
  
  Now in the template Manager, we create a new source (xxibeCCtdMenu.jsp) file to the title of "model of generation of Menu".
  
  However when we select site and language like 'All', it gives following error:
  Error in the logical record of physical mapping
  ORA-00001: unique constraint (IBE. IBE_DSP_LGL_PHYS_MAP_U2) violated in the package IBE_PhysicalMap_GRP procedure save_physicalmap
  All the sites and all the language already exists exists for 7670 deliverable
  
  How can we overcome them this error? Please notify.

  for a given Site and the language combination, can exist only one model.
  Default file provided by Oracle is set with combination like all Sites - all languages, and you will not be able to change it.

  Save your file with combination such as all Sites - English
  or , all languages.

  Then it will work fine.

  I'm trying to test/deployment of my application. In the application, I use a library for logging (log4j).
  Successfully, I included the library in the model and used in the code.
  The compilation of the code but when I try to deploy the integrated weblogic server, I get this error:

  You must create a JSP that must be put in the pages folder.

  Who will have one KEY.

  Now do enter your real JSP with this KEY to tiles - def.xml

  Equip your JSP real tiles folder.

  In your struts-config file to input your JSP that is pages of the record.

  You can see some example of any JSP in the pages folder.

  I have a jsp custom, which is newly created and settled in $OA_HTML after this bounce apache and empty the cache has been done.
  but when I execute this jsp using the url as "http://hostname:portno/OA_HTML/xxrequest.jsp" it does not appear my last customization it displays error "HTTP 500 Internal server error".
  
  where can I see log for this error in oracle applications.

  No other errors in the log files? If please clear logs (take a backup of the files first), reproduce the problem and review logs.

  BTW, how do clear you your cache? Have you deleted files/directories under the directory COMMON_TOP/_pages $?

  First of all, sorry if I'm in the wrong forum. I was quite confused about the place where my question.

  Background

  I work for a software company that deploys a financial application approximately 3000 users. For money transfers, we use a third-party solution.

  This third party uses the Jet DB. The developer of this third solution has recently found a bug that was caused by a known Bug in Windows Vista, which, in turn, has been resolved with Vista SP2. Of course, there is a fix so (KB943509 ).

  To resolve the bug users must be vista sp2 or the hotfix.

  Questions

  1. We thought to deploy this patch with our next installation as a sine qua non. Is this a good idea?
  2. To download the fix, I had to check my installation with wga. If deploy us the patch, this check would not apply to users. This leaves wondering: is - it legal to deploy a patch from microsoft for windows for which users check their installation of windows?

• Deploy the custom player XI for Mac

  I am trying customize player XI Setup so that it will not invite the end-user for the updates. I signed up for the deployment of the company and read the documentation. I can't find anything about how to customize the Player installer, only paid Acrobat installer. The customization for mac tool requires a serialization, but we're just trying to get the player on your computer.

  This means that your page is imported in the MDS repository. Now do the steps below.

  Step 1: Bounce that apache server

  Step 2: Review your deployed custom OA page

  Note: Ensure that the necessary AOL objects referenced from your personalized page (for example, the Menus and functions responsibilities) were created or exist on the instance of Release 12 to which you deploy your custom page.

  If AOL is not yet created then fallow the steps below.

  a. create the form function with the property 'Jsp SSWA function' and webhtml 'OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/xyka '.

  b. Add the menu function.
