  FWIW there is no Version of the Fusion of trial!  What you download is the normal version of the fully functional version of Fusion and you can get a serial number that works for 30 days or use a purchased serial number.

  You can download one of Fusion 1.x or 2.x files Download VMware Fusion Disk Image .dmg and simply scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the appropriate download link.

  Step 1: Disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) readers, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  Huh... frustrating indeed.

  Error 403 sometimes arises with the creative cloud, but Captivate is no desktop app not part of the CC. I would hazard a guess that there is a problem with the Download Manager. Just to be sure, if you don't have it already done, try to send the form using the latest version of another browser like Firefox or edge. Make sure you have a stable connection to internet (ideally by cable) and temporarily disable any firewall/anti-virus security.   If this does not work, you can try to access the trial via direct download. Before you begin your download, follow the instructions very important to halfway down the page linked otherwise you will get an error.   You can't have three activations. It is simply not possible technically. If and when the time comes, just disable you / disconnect is on one of the old systems and install it on the new. If the system goes belly up, you contact support to reset your account. No need to make it more complicated than that and resist it.
