    I want to add the form designed in adobe acrobat pro live cycle Designer. I saved the form designed in adobe live cycle designer in pdf format. But you can't change the same in Adobe Acrobat format. I would like to add a few fields and use the fields designed by Adobe Live cycle Designer.

    Actually, that's exactly what you should do, you don't need to create

    all fields again.

    After you have edited the original and create a new static PDF, open the old

    version and use the command replace Pages to insert the new pages

    those in the old file. This will keep all the form fields in tact.

  • How uncheck you the option buttons in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?

    How uncheck you the option buttons in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?

    OK, so I have a three sets of radio buttons each three choices, so, basically, it looks like this

    Cheques:          (    )          (     )          (     )

    Deposit slips: () ())

    Envelopes:        (    )          (     )          (     )

    In case anyone is confused, () are radio buttons. Basically, I want radio buttons to act as check boxes, I want to be able to click them and outside. I don't want us boxes because I want them to be circles and not square. Is there a way to do this? Maybe using javascript, what code would be?

    Radio button names: QTY.

    XQTY

    XPrice

    Thanks in advance guys

    You don't have to use a script. I rarely use the option button because they cannot normally be deselected once in the Group has been selected, but here's a backdoor method I use in the mouse event to the top:

    Uncheck the box if the SHIFT key is pressed while clicking on

    If (event.shift) event.target.value = "Off";

    The user will know that it is available. You can also configure a button that resets the value of the button to "Off".

    Another option is to add another choice, as "not applicable".

  • Submit form button save only PDF and not send.

    Our school uses a form of discipline paper and my manager asked me to created a PDF version that can be completed and e-mailed to him instead of us fill in by hand.  I've set up the Send button exactly as all the tutorials say.  When I go to test (mailto function is correct in shape), instead of a selection of email client, I get a box "send PDF data under".  At this time, he wants to save the form and the e-mail never sends.  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Thank you very much.

    Thank you all for your comments.  I found my problem.  It turns out that our copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro X has not been updated.  Once our IT Department updated, it worked fine.  Thanks again for looking at my problem.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC - character spacing in the text form field

    Hi all

    We are creating a form that contains a part of money transfer.

    This form will be printed on preprinted paper that contains special rectangle fields for the characters (f.e. a bank account number = > IBAN).

    Each character must match their respective rectangle.

    Because of the spacing between the rectangles, we must be able to increase the spacing between characters, but it seems that it is not possible for the text to form fields in Adobe Acrobat Pro ms? We looked everywhere, but we can't seem to find it.

    We missed something? Otherwise: are there other options to solve our problem?

    Thank you.

    Best regards.

  • How you gray out / disable fields in an option button if another radio button is selected in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI?

    How you gray out / disable fields in an option button if another radio button is selected Adobe Acrobat XI Pro?

    I have created a form where the user has three options to make a payment.

    1. charge on my credit card
    2. costs related to the bank account
    3. By check or money order

    My problem is, under each option, there are required fields that must be filled. So if the user chooses the first option, charges on my credit card, they would fill in the mandatory fields (card credit number, expiry etc.). But when they click on the "submit" button to send the form, he won't let them, because there are a of the fields required in the title of the second the second option, the costs related to the costs related to the bank account. Is there a way to gray out or disable the other two payment options when it is taken. I guess I'll have to use javascript, but what would be the coding and what field do I write under?

    Thanks in advance guys

    I do all the fields that are not required until the user selects the relevant box.

    For example, as soon as the user selects the credit card radio button, only credit card fields are required.

    It could be the script to make the credit card required/not required fields:

    var r = this.getField("PaymentMethod").value;     Use the name of the radio here group

    var CCfields is ['Field1', 'Field2', 'Field3'];.         Enter the names of the fields of credit card here

    If the user has chosen credit card as payment method, make the required credit card fields

    If (r == 'Credit Card') {}

    for (var i in CCfields) this.getField(CCfields[i]).required = true;

    }

    Else, no required credit card fields

    else (var i in CCfields) this.getField(CCfields[i]).required = false;

    You should do something similar for other types of 2 payment, for example

    If (r == "Bank account") {}

    do something

    }

    etc.

  • Disable a submit button in a form fillable

    I have created a fillable form that once it is completed, the user clicks the button on the submission form. With a couple of javascript codes, I found online, I was able to set up in the control panel user actions to have the form saved as another file named, have all filled on static text, and the shape placed in an email as an attachment. The only problem is that the code I found does not disable the submission form. Thus, it is not a completely static form.

    Is there a JavaScript there that would disable the button on the form submit?

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hello, I use Adobe Acrobat Std XI to create a form that Adobe readers will be completed.  Everything works in the form except for the button, I inserted to allow the user to reset/clear the form. The button works correctly in Acrobat, but this is no work in the drive.  I tried to save the file as a Reader Extended version, I tried the protected and unprotected file and I can not get the button work in Reader. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong or is it all just because I'm working with Acrobat Standard XI and not Pro?

    Thank you.

    Thanks for the file. What you need to do is to remove the fields of digital signature from the list of fields to be set to zero.
