Disable the cache of objects

Hello!

Is it possible to turn off the display of the values cached for elements (e.g. numeric values)? For a list help to speed up the work in general, but sometimes can be disturbing. So, it is possible to disable the list of the value cached for specific items?

András

Andras salvation,

I think you talk to the native browser AutoComplete feature. Try adding the following to the 'attributes of the HTML Form element"for the specific item that you want to disable this feature:

autocomplete="off"

If you wanted to do it at the page level, it is also possible for this turning off declarative "Edit Page > Security > full auto shape '."

I hope this helps.

Anthony.

  • Any way to disable the cache Orchestrator?

    Hello everyone,

    We are faced with a few inconsistencies while working with workflows and vcloud Director web console at the same time, especially when you have to choose the entries at the beginning of the workflow.

    Any chance to disable the cache?

    Thank you

    Luciano

    What version of the plugin vCloud do you use? 1.5 or 5.1?

    There is no way to turn it off, but in 5.1, you can change the time-out period. If you put a short that you will get close to real time, but then he may have a performance impact.

  • disable the cache

    Hi, I found there are 2 ways to disable the cache.

    (1) edit \OracleBI\server\Config\NQSConfig.INI, change of

    ===================================
    [CACHE]
    ACTIVATE = NO;
    ===================================

    OR

    (2) uncheck the box 'Cacheable' on the dialog box properties of each physical tables and views

    WILL BE THE METHOD 1 AND METHOD 2 BACK EVEN EFFECT?

    Thank you!

    the difference between the two approaches is the scope.

    Activating/Deactivating the cache in the file NQSConfig.ini, you will have a global effect, all by checking / unchecking the box "cacheable" at the level of the RPD table allows you to choose the tables whose data can be cached. both approaches will have the same effect.

    the choice depends on your specific requirement of the project.

  • How to disable the cache of police presentation

    My computer takes 220 seconds to load the cache of police presentation.

    How can I get rid of this program?
    What do I lose when I uninstall it?
    Thanks - Mark

    Hello

    Method 1:

    PresentationFontCache.exe service is only useful if you use WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) applications.

    If this is not the case, try the following steps:
    a. click Start type services.msc in the start search box.
    b. search for Windows Presentation Foundation do a right-click on the same service and disable the service.

    Method 2: Try these steps and check if it works:

    a. click on Start click on my computer.
    b. go to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\ delete all Font*.dat and restart the computer.

  • How to disable the caching?

    I know that you can set the robot to "delete the cache after indexing", but can completely disable you caching so that caching is not made in the first place? (Not sure if the crawling process needs this updated version cached for indexing. If not, I'm guessing that it would help the performance of indexing to disable caching.)

    It actually indexes the files "cache", if their creation might improve the speed of indexing, you wouldn't get anything it should be indexed that is probably not very useful.

    2 caches are the same. I don't know how he has turned his back. In the "Update the cache of the site" window which shows the progress bar, click Cancel no doesn't stop the cache of the building, it also turns off it so that you should not see that again.

    Note that the cache only stores the information on your pages, links, etc., to speed up some operations. It does store copies of your pages.

  • Is there a way to disable the thumbnails in all except a few folders cache?

    Hello

    I am a certified technician A + and I have a question about the caching of thumbnails.  For reference, I read this thread and others like it.

    In order to avoid that the Explorer snaps records I want to change, I need to disable the caching of thumbnails in most of my files.  I already know how to do this.

    Question: Can I activate the thumbnail view in some cases? (NOT the folder 'types' such as video.  I mean just one folder.)

    This will enable Thumbnail caching throughout the Explorer so that I get a "file in use" errors in non-feuillete folders?

    FYI: I also do not put the taskbar thumbnail cache.  If the style of my theme doesn't have to make a difference... I hope.  For my clients who have slow computers, as I am normally to the themes of base anyway.  I also do not allow most programs create thumbnails for the taskbar (like Firefox).  I would like to know if there are other areas, I've not thought.

    Thanks for your help.

    Caching of thumbnails taskbar is a cache of the video card Aero (desktop window manager) and unrelated to the thumbnail of the file in terms of production and storage.

    But no, you can't activate the cache of thumbnails only in a specific folder, only in the ranges you already mentioned.  There is no just the feature to follow him on this level.

    Even with all the complete default values, you should not get a lock.  No matter how well-written program should quit the amendment is requested by using opportunistic to get out of the way locks when an application you use to do something with a file or a folder. But not all programs are also well written we would like.  Again I'd be curious to know what program you are using getting locked.  Thumbnails should not be able to cause this in Windows 7 and later versions.

  • New installation of SQL Server, disable the write cache?

    Hello, I'm under ESXi 5.1 and I need to configure a virtual machine Windows server 2012 for our first virtual SQL Server.  My database guy tells me that I have to disable the cache write for SQL best practices.  Is it always true when it is a virtual machine?  If it is true where would I turn it off?  To add a bit more info about our storage on a network SAN Dell EqualLogic and we will use SQL 2008 as SQL 2012 is not yet supported.  Thanks for the help!

    I think that your SQL guy assumes the ESXi host will be caching on its own transparent for the VM by default. This is incorrect, ESXi does nothing like that.

    The only place where caching of write i/o can happen is on the side of physical storage outside ESXi, so in your case the SAN controllers (no reason not to have this license here too long as it is on battery/flash) or the discs themselves (ugh, it is never enabled by default for a good reason).

    BTW: I'm pretty sure that SQL 2008 is not supported on Server 2012.

  • Cache.get (Object) when using the list and Arrays.asList as keys

    Hello

    I saw a problem when doing the cache.get (object) with the list. Here's my test.

    NamedCache cohCache = CacheFactory.getCache ("Test");

    Key is a list
    Key list = new ArrayList();
    Key.Add ("A");

    cohCache.put (key, 1);

    System.out.println ("Get with Arrays.asList:" + cohCache.get (Arrays.asList ("A")));
    System.out.println ("list:" + cohCache.get (key));
    System.out.println ("list is equal to Arrays.asList:" + Arrays.asList("A").equals (key));

    Actual output:

    Get with Arrays.asList: null
    List is equal to Arrays.asList: true
    Download list: 1

    Expected results:

    Get with Arrays.asList: 1
    List is equal to Arrays.asList: true
    Download list: 1

    Arrays.asList("A") and the key are equal but consistency does not return the value. I thought that, in cache.get (object) consistency returns if object.equals (key) is true.

    Any idea?

    Hi Eric,.

    There is a slight misunderstanding in how you think that the works of coherence.

    For clustered caches Coherence does not return the value of the object key of equals to the key specified when caching, object instead, it returns When serialized forms of the key used to and used to get equal to one another.

    If you use no POF, then most of the time Java serialization is used to serialize the objects of key, and in any case if you don't use of POF, and the name of the serialized object class is in the serialized form.

    Now, the thing is that the key that you put in is a java.util.ArrayList. The key that you have tried to get with is a java.util.Arrays.ArrayList.
    It's two different classes, so the serialized forms that store the name of class implementation (which is true in this case) cannot be the same. So consistency is not going to put initially entrance the key that it uses (the serialized form) is actually different from the original key, so there is no entry for the key used in the get() method, and correctly you get back null.

    On the other hand, the two implementations ArrayList implement equals as defined in AbstractList, requiring not only the types of implementation of lists be the same, they apply just that the relation to the object is also a list, so two lists containing the same elements in the same order are equal as long as equals() on AbstractList is concerned, that's why your equals() check evaluates to true even if the types of implementation are different.

    Best regards

  • How to disable the portal Cache

    Hello
    When I change the data in the database table, it is not reflected in the portlets to the portal and they show old data. Data updates show that when I empty the cache. I want to automate this process. In other words, when the data changes in the database, it must be immediately reported.

    On the page of the EM, I go into the component 'portal', then in 'cache portal settings', and then I disable the cache. Is this the right approach?

    Also on the same page, in the 'cleaning' section, there is an option called 'Maximum ages for queues (days) Cache. What happens if I put this vacuum? or put zero in?

    concerning

    Yes, it should go in the portlet code.

  • How to disable the file hiding (changing options for hard disk does not work)

    Hi all

    I hope someone can help me with the following problem:

    -J' need to open a file of 16 GB of content in third party software (Stata) who reads completely in memory.

    -Due to Windows caching file, necessary to get the procedure done about 32 GB cache files and Stata access physical memory.

    -As I have only 24 GB of physical RAM file is read later part of virtual memory, which leads to serious performance problems.

    I unchecked the box 'Enable write on the device cache' to my hard drive. That did not help. Is there a way to disable the Cache during PLAYBACK of files?

    Thank you very much in advance for any help!

    Tobi

    The write cache and virtual memory are different. Virtual memory is an extension of the physical memory residing on the HARD disk where Windows is installed. Normally, the virtual memory is about twice the size of the current physical memory. Write cache is an exclusive setting for external hard drives only and has no effect in internal hard drives.

    In your case, please note that full 24GO of RAM will not be allocated to the program. At least 1 GB will be reserved for windows, so the rest of the programs are moved to virtual memory, which means that the HARD drive. It is not recommended to disable virtual memory because it can cause stability problems. In addition, the files are not copied directly in memory, even if they are big. Instead, the parts of the file are available and this area, including the incremental values and material, are stored in the memory. So if all of a sudden, you access an area of the file which is very far away from the previous location, it takes time as the new area, as well as differentials and material value of a few bytes is also copied to the memory. The box of files previously displayed is erased from the memory.

    For performance improvements, you can go for the SSD, RAM with higher clock speed (must be compatible with the motherboard) as processor as well as the upgrade. However, please note that the process of accessing a file even as mentioned previously, but the speed will increase because of the higher bandwidth and the clock frequency.
