Disconnect the Touch: mouseEnabled

Hello

I find a way to touch (click) something under the other object. If I try with MouseEvent, I just need to write mouseEnabled = false or change the hitArea, but i ' ts does not work with the touchEvent.

So, how can I ignore the touch event in a Sprite or MovieClip.

Thank you all,

Mike

You probably have an affected area of irregular shape. Place a box on top of the object that you are clicking on through and make it 100% transparent or alpha = 0, then you won't be able to hit around the objects in the slots.

  • How can S2340T, I turn off the touch function?

I am running the S2340T monitor on a Windows Pro 8.1 System.  Touch calibration occasionally goes haywire, but I've always been able to open the tool pen and Touch and recalibrate.  Except that now, it doesn't seem to be "holding".

As I rarely use the tactile aspect of the screen and am completely comfortable with my trackball mouse, I would just turn the tactile aspect * off *.

How can I do this?  I know that you go to the Device Manager, but how to know what 'Human Interface' element it is?  I'm a gamer, so I have a * lot * of human interface elements.

My problem is similar to other positions, but not exact.

    Hi Tony,.

This problem is caused due to conflicts of device, you will not be able to use the touch cursor when a mouse is connected. You will be able to tap on the touch keyboard, but when you scroll or drag the mouse cursor disappears. I suggest you to disable one of the device and check if it helps.

To disable the touch screen, refer to the following steps:

    a. click the Start button and click Control Panel.

    b. access the material and audio.

    c. click Pen and Touch.

    d. click on the contact tab.

    (e) uncheck the box use the finder as input, this disables touch and stylus.

Otherwise, you will need to disconnect the mouse.

First chcek with activity monitor, if isn´t there is an app that have heavy load on your processor and if so, remove it. If not, there will probably be problem of dust and fans or with colling stick on your processor.

  • Can I turn off the TOUCH screen feature?

Here's my problem: my granddaughter for baby love watching YouTube nursery rhymes on my iPhone before the NAP. But sometimes it naturally touches the screen, which stops the video.

Is there a way to disable the TOUCH screen of the iPhone function while keeping the video running?

    Thank you!!!

    Hi, Edward

Yes - you can see that guided access (for example: "Ignore all keys") meets your needs:

  • Jack was very warm when you disconnect the plug iPhone

When my iPhone 6 supported this morning, I noticed the plug that goes into the wall was pretty hot when I disconnected the unit from the wall.  I never noticed this before.  Is it a bad sign and is it safe to use?

On the phone under 80% charge when you unplugged? If Yes, the cube would be hot, because the phone draws more power for the first 80% of the load, it then tapers. If you have any doubts bring it to an Apple store for the assessment.

  • Disable the touch screen scrolling

I found a ton of results describing how to force Firefox to scroll as a touchscreen. Let me start by being clear: I want to do the opposite of this. I have a page that key scrolls correctly, but this causes problems.

I use a web page that submits electronic contracts, and they require signatures; I access this page from a Dell XPS 18 tablet. The problem is that the signature field is extremely temperamental. If you try to connect, the page scrolls, and the signature field remains empty. If you type just as it should be and then start to sign later, you can select the field, and it works. The problem is that it is so capricious, it took me several minutes to get the idea of the right button/timing of the thing. This does not work for clients. If I plug a conventional mouse, it works as it should; Click and drag the points highlights text, rather than scrolling and click and drag in the signature box signs.

I use Firefox for this task because of its high degree of customization; I could (pretty simple) to make everything display exactly as I wanted. On that note, I hope that there is a way to disable the touch scrolling. I tried to use the clamp and slide the module to subvert its own destination, but it does not seem an option to do this. If someone can point me in the direction of a parameter or add-on that can do this, I'll be very grateful. Ideally, I would like to disable on this page in particular only, but disable overall would be as well.

Since the submission of my original post, I spent a lot of time delving into everything: config with nothing else than an incomplete article knowledge base to guide me, and after losing a ton of time to play with the mousewheel settings, I discovered gestures.enable_single_finger_input, set it to false and voila! Problem solved. If there is never anyone trying to accomplish this for a reason, I hope that you find it useful.

  • Firefox works with the touch screen technology windows 8?

Plan to buy all-in-one touch screen pc and want to know if Firefox browser works well with this technology.

Yes it is on the right. as the article linked in my response earlier said that the touch interface is currently available in early development builds, which are mainly for the developers and users very advanced and not recommended for daily use. Firefox 26 will come on the aurora in mid channel one to beat late October - these build would give you the opportunity to test and to discover the new format in a more stable form (provided that the calendar holds).

Select the Pen and Touch and go to the contact tab.

At the top is "Use your finger as input device."  Uncheck the box.

Click apply and then click OK.

Hi, I have a HP TouchSmart 320-1030, so it can work on your TouchSmart:

I don't want to use the touch screen. How to turn off the it? It is activated by all sorts of things, like my touch cat's tail, or an insect landing on it, or a curtain blowing against it. I don't type using the screen, I prefer the keyboard that I can not type quickly on the screen. I would like to turn off the touch screen when I use it not (most of the time), or even permanently - it is not useful for what I want to do that the screen is not as sensitive or as fast as the input devices that I usually use.

    Hello

Have you found a way to do it?
I think that it of not possible to disable the touch screen.
Found no information in the user manual. Maybe you can check the BIOS settings available. Switch on and press F2 to enter the BIOS.
But to be honest, I doubt that a power option would be available there.
