• Time Machine backup

  Since I've upgraded to Mac OS Sierra, my time machine backup has stop working. Any ideas short of clear and start over? I've included a screenshot. Merci.

  1. Go to Preferences > Time Machine and uncheck "automatically backup."
  2. The Time Machine disc
  3. Cut the power on TM drive and disconnect it from the computer
  4. Wait 20 seconds
  5. Plug the drive back in and turn the disk monitor
  6. The drive should mount on your desktop.
  7. Go to Preferences > Time Machine and check "automatically save".
  8. Time Machine should be able to use the disc once more.

  Spin Retry Count parameter specifies the number of retry of spin start attempts.
  You should not be worried about the alerts, but of course, I recommend you to backup the data from time to time in case something goes wrong with the HARD drive

  I have successfully installed Windows 7 RTM, with the disk monitoring HARD & Bluetooth all working correctly, but the majority of special FN keys do not work as the parameters without wire volume, brightness, & put into hibernation work.

• Misfortunes of Slimline Pavillion

  I have real difficulty at the moment get a pavilion slimline s3110.uk pc friends behave...

  It could be a bad drive. I would check that the SMART codes with a free utility such as here http://www.disk-monitor.com/download.html

  If you do not already executed him only the Windows utility disk check you can do that too. You can also find a scan utility to drive on the hard drive manufacturer's website.

• The event viewer displays continuously errors with ID 7000 and 7009

  I use Acronis Disk Monitor, which shows the disk health 82% due to a bad block on disk. Observer events poster continually errors on ID 7000 and 7009, but I can't find a solution to these errors or what they mean exactly.

  If Acronis reports bad blocks on the disk, then you should replace the disk as soon as possible.  Blocks of bad sectors/bad is not repairable, and once they begin to appear that they tend to behave like a snowball rolling downhill, you will get several of them with increasing speed.  You may lose your data if you keep using this drive.

  Regarding the events 7009 & 7000, you will need to copy & paste the events here for give us to you more information.  Double-click on the event to see its properties, and then click the icon of the Clipboard (which looks like 2 pages of paper) to copy the event, you can then paste it in your next post.  These Service Controller errors may be caused by a multitude of different things.

• stuck in mode 'sleep'

  so here's my problem. A few days ago accidentally put my computer (PC, laptop) mode "standby" and now he won't wake up. few things I've tried:

  -Press any key on the keyboard (USB), no lights (caps, num, scroll), no response

  -power button, push, no response
  -don't reset, no response
  then I pressed and held the power button and it turned off. OS, I am running Vista Home Premium 64-Bit, which I update frequently. Also been doing research on the web on the subject, found similar/identical problems, but no instructions how to get out of the situation, I'm currently in.

  Try to boot to the desktop after refresh all external devices (except for the mouse and keyboard)

  If possible, connect to another monitor and check if the problem persists.

  In the meantime I suggest you try these options:

  Option 1: Try to boot to the desktop through Mode without fail in the Start Menu of the Options Start Advance® (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode) and check if this issues still exists, if the problem is resolved, you will need to perform a clean boot by following the steps in the following article to refine the exact source and isolate it : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

  Option 2: Solve problems wake the computer from sleep mode

  ·         Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?

  ·         You have antivirus software on your computer?

  This problem may occur if another utility or service, for example a virus check program or a program disk monitoring, locked the partition before you try to run the Chkdsk.exe or Autochk.exe utility.

  I have some steps that may help you.

  Method 1: I suggest you to turn off all third-party applications and check if you have a similar question.

  To do this, follow these steps:

  1. open the start search box, type services.msc and click OK.

  2. in the Services (Local) list scroll the service concerned (for example auditor of virus or disk monitoring tool).

  3. right click on the service and select Properties.

  4. change the startup type to disabled for all applications 3rd - party that could be the cause of the blocking of Chkdsk problem.

  5. click OK/apply.

  6. restart the computer.

  Method 2: If this does not help, try to change the registry value and restart the computer.

  1. click on the start search box, type regedit.

  2. in the Publisher of the registry under the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE subtree, go to the following subkey:

  \SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session manager

  3 change the Boot entry run of:

Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk.  If you want to edit the registry to fix this I urge you to back up your registry before proceeding.

• SimpleSave 1 TB Drive

  I just installed a Simplesave backup device on my computer. (1 TB)

• Other gadgets still works, but I cannot add another...

  So basically what happened is that I noticed one of my 7 gadgets cannot load, in this case, so I tried ending the sidebar process and restarted, did not work, tried to restart my computer, a disk monitor did not work... Tried to disable the gadgets platform all together and then reactivating, didn't work...

• Windows 7 suddenly locking automatically

  All of a sudden, without changing all the settings on my computer, Windows blocks and require a password after only 1 minute.  My screen saver is set to none, with the 'require blah blah password' box unchecked.  My power settings are defined for the computer to never turn off the hard disk, monitor, or go to sleep.

  No idea why all of a sudden this is happening?

  I created a custom role named 'Build VMs' that I have assigned to an ad group.  This role is assigned in the data centers, all spread and no. folder where elsewhere.  The role was designed to allow a specific group of users to manage virtual machines (create, move, delete, but not clone, etc.).

  For the most part, it works fine, but I have a problem: they cannot migrate powered off VMs.  vMotion is available and works, but I need to move a cluster virtual machines to a different (more old hw & 3.5 to new hw & 4.1).

  It is the main thing I thought it would take to a simple move of a virtual machine while it is turned off:

  I gave to create a folder because some of the permissions were not yet allowing the creation of virtual machines, even though it probably isn't necessary.
