• 18.0 R Firefox displays my Google Contacts, but when I click on a contact, I can't open it. I'm unable to click and open any component of Contacts.

  I use Firefox 18.0 and Windows 7. Google Contacts support contacts, however, I am unable to open and edit individual contacts. Similarly, when I click on groups, more, try to go to the next page of contacts, change my settings (gear icon) or which group I consult, nothing happens. I am able to scroll the displayed contacts page, it works when I click the icon 'all or nothing' next to the icon of the Group and the work when I click on new group and import Contacts in the lower left of the screen.   I ran through the procedures described and found the Yontoo "Runtime" interfered with my Google Contacts extension. Interestingly, that had been installed on my computer in may but it is only this week that there was a problem (that's a coincidence for upgrade to Firefox R 18.0). I disabled the extension and removed the program Yontoo which some sites suggest is malware. I am at a loss to explain how it was installed on my computer.

• Since the update for Sierra, contacts do not appear in Messages - just phone numbers.

  Since the update for Sierra, Messages no longer displays Contact names - only phone numbers.  No instructions on how to remedy this.  Ideas?

  Go into the Contacts application and ensure that it uses the same account synchronization like the iPhone and other devices you may be using.

  Also check the part of the accounts of the Contacts application preferences and make sure that it's only using one account.

• Spotlight returns invalid Contact - How can I remove it?

  Projector works as expected except a scenario.  It seems to display contacts deleted a long time ago and I want him to stop!  For example, a Spotlight search for 'everyday' returns a result Top Hit for Contact 'Chris Daily.  I don't want to see this contact.  I want to delete this contact.  In fact, I feel that I deleted this contact a long time ago.

  It's always a Top Hit for the 'daily' search - but should not exist at all.

  Force spotlight to reindex your drive. This should get the Spotlight index up-to-date.

• Assistant (DTA) data transfer transferred some of my Contacts, none of my calendar or Memo files

  When I ran the DTA at 5:30 PM PST yesterday, he said he had picked up ~ 4100 chronogram (Palm Desktop 6.2), with the exception of 20 files of calendar, which was very good.

  I thought that maybe the data transfer was still running, so I waited all night.
  
  Since this morning 9:45 AM PST, nothing has changed.
  
  My Pre and Google seem to have incomplete data:
  -slightly more than half of records from address book Palm Desktop 6.2 made to my pre / Google
  -any of the records in Palm Desktop 6.2 Agenda made my pre / Google
  -any of the records in Palm Desktop 6.2 memos made my pre / Google
  
  SUMMARY: I'm extremely frustrated. The only thing that I have always enjoyed with Palm devices has been the opportunity to upgrade to the new Palm devices and carry my existing data. The one-time transfer of DTA to pre process is very buggy. Somewhere after the DTA extracts data from my Palm Desktop (~ 4100 records), most of these documents have been lost. It is a horrible customer experience.

  I did some online research, and the author of the following article also fell on a similar problem:

  I have tested and verified that when I create a new record on my pre calendar, he gets sync would correctly in Google Calendar and vice versa (new record created in Google Calendar sync does get would be my pre).   Initially, I tried to transfer my data using DTA to Google instead of Palm profile. Several times I tried to run the DTA to transfer my contacts from Palm Desktop 6.2 to Google contacts. Whenever I tried to do, at some point, sync Google contacts folders would stop permanently, until all records have been transferred to the course. You can find out how many records have been sync'd to a given pre Contacts by clicking on Preferences & accounts by clicking on the account. You will see the number of contacts.

  So I decided to try to use the Palm profile as the storage for my Contacts and calendar, and all my Contact records (total 1372) was migrated successfully on the Meadow

  The pre now displays contact records in my pre Contacts as I expect: I see the files I transferred over my Palm Desktop. And because I added a Gmail contacts, Gmail addresses friends get "linked" to the corresponding Contacts automatically.

  Summary: my recommendation is that, for the DTA transfer process, you choose to store (backup) your Contacts (and calendar) on the Palm profile. Of course, the downside of this approach is data that has been created on your Pre will not be displayed in Google Contacts and Google Calendar. Of course, you can choose to add your Google accounts on your Pre to your Contacts and calendar, which is what I did. This makes the Chronogram of your Gmail contacts and introduce you to Google Calendar on your Pre. For example, I added the calendar we vacation on Google Calendar. And now these holiday appear on my Pre calendar.

  Once again, on the contact page, top right there are 3 circles.   Not sure what the problem with the flick is for you. You don't need to go very fast. Even just a slip of the finger slowly on the screen should change its point of view.

  I understand that your contacts are not in alphabetical order.  Depending on whether you want to view by the first or last name, make sure that sort and order of two display show all first, last or last, first.

  Contacts settings

  Go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars, where you can:

  • Change the way contacts are sorted

  • Display contacts by first name or name

  • Change how long names are abbreviated in the lists

  • Choose to display favorite and recent contacts in the form of multitasking

  • Define a default account for new contacts

  • Set your My Info card

  • Set if the updates and new contacts are automatically derived from mail you receive

• cards do not sync contacts

  With the help of MAC (OS X El Capitan, v 10.11.12), cards in my Contacts get screwed up.) Use us iCloud and Contacts started maintaining different cards on my Mac and on iCloud - but there is no way to know what contacts does. I merged contacts yesterday and had to do it again today. E problem is that when displaying Contacts, I am presented with multiple addresses - I do not know what is current, because the old data that was written more turned up. It is a HUGE STEP BACKWARDS for APPLE so difficult to manage. For the first time, I start to think to return to Windows - not a happy thought, since we have 6 mobile stations and 4 computers.

• MY MOTO CLIQ CONTACTS ARE ALL DELETED!

  not serious... Here's my question, enjoying my beautiful Sunday evening, all of a sudden... I look at my phone to check my texts... received in my inbox just to find that the numbers are displayed instead of the names... don't immediately panic because my phone has recently had the same problem, but this was due to the fact that I kept losing network motoblur or something else... so if this never happens to you turn off your phone, remove your battery and remove your card sim and then everything put back in and it will connect to the network somehow... Well I did... activated my phone... yet... NO CONTACT... so I slept with my phone as this.. woke up in the morning to find that only my FACEBOOK and TWITTER show contacts but not the contacts that I have stored in my phone manually, nor of my contacts mspace and its tsarting for me because I've linked all my contacts with their facebook, myspace, and twitter pagesand now all my contacts hand went... So I decided to up their return of the mobile back... but now NONE of my photos are and whenever I try to click on a contact in my phonebook, an error and I have to force close contacts each TIME... so idk what to do at this point... tihis could be because of an app, I downloaded? cause, what happened a few minutes after I have downlaoded private Conversation Super (SPC) app... anyone know what I need to do? Will be my contacts reappear eventually and all my links with it? and even with my facebook, myspace and twitter show displayed contacts, NO pic shows for ANY of my contacts... and when well the cliq get 2.0, I love the cliq and I know that motorola and droid are always add things but HELPPP!

  idk why, but every time I turn off my phone for any reason and turn it back on, my phone randomly returns most of the texts that I did earlier that day... and this is present each time... so to prevent it, I just delete all my texts until I turn it off... not really a biggie but thought I should just do know... any help with that?

  I know that you don't want to factory reset your phone but it is important that you have your MOTOBLUR account linked to an email address that you have access to. For example if you created a MotoBlur ID [email protected] the account would be created and you can login to the account if you remember the password. If you have forgotten the password you will not be able to connect to your MotoBlur account as the forgotten password does not work as you do not have access to "[email protected]".

  With regard to the movement of your contacts to Gmail. Sign in to Gmail and import contacts. Make sure that the contacts appear under "My Contacts". Then after you set the "Gmail" account on the phone contacts will start to synchronize until they're all there.

• A369i displaying not a name for incoming calls

  I bought an A369i a few months ago. It worked all fine, but now, ILA does not display contact names, number only. I tried to save format + 91 contact no.s and not starting with 0, but don't work. I also deleted all the data of the phone app, but even as before. Help, please!

  Finally found the solution. Conatcts were saved as + 91 xx xx xxxx, changed to the + 91xxxxxxxxxx. It works!
