  If you set the attribute 'the ABC test form is pass' silent that it will not be displayed in the record of decision, but its subitems will be.

  1. Make sure that the attribute "the ABC test form is pass" is a properties file
  2. Double-click it in the file properties, and then select the record of decision.
  3. Check if Invisible: 'True' option.

  I work with an integration of Java of the OPA, and I'm curious to know how to exploit the record of decision by using the Java API for the information I'm after.
  
  Basic example:
  
  X = Maximum (A, B)
  
  In a record of decision, I see that A and B are used to determine X, but is there a way to know what is done with the API? I know its somewhere, I just need to get to work!
  
  Another example:
  
  X = (A - B) * C
  
  How can I retrieve what exactly happened in java using the API? Is this possible?

  Dan,

  Records of decision (code or xml) unfortunately do not go into that kind of detail. Records of decision describes what values are relevant and values assumed under influence, but they have no detailed calculation of information in them.

  It is not possible to do what you are trying to do.

  This should be fairly simple. You can obtain a record of decision of the engine API. The decision paper referred is a tree of nodes that are very similar to the decision in OWD HTML report, it should just be a matter of this tree to market and building an html like structure.

  I have a new database and events for a nursery for children site I am building. I have no problem out of the news that I thought... but I'm having a problem with the events.
  
  I want to display only events that are dated. If the events that took place are no longer displayed. I don't want to delete events though, as I need to archive them.
  
  I have a date field in the table that is in the following DD MMM YYYY format (example: October 27, 2006).
  
  Is there a query I can do to select only events that have not occurred yet?

  This will give you the only current day events. Of course like Dan said that the dates must be stored in the field date.

  I'll call you datasource as "yourdatasource".
  Call your table as "yourtable.

  I worked on a very simple application form ADF search against table Scott.emp in the Oracle database.
  Now I see what you mean. The idea is probably you shouldn't directly drag and drop control of your data: directly in your jspx as «ADF search form» Here are the steps:
  (1) create your entity object, the view object and I'm in the model layer; (You have already done this, you do not have entity and your view may come of TopLink request;)
  2) double-click the View object in your project of "model"; Add a connection variable: type Bind_deptno Number. It's read in a number of dept on the search engine;
  (3) change the SQL statement of the Emp View object on the same place as 2); WHERE Emp.Deptno = NVL (: Bind_deptno, Emp.Deptno) this indicates ADF if the binding variable is bound to a value
  then use this value, or if it is null, just ignore it. That's the tricky part;
  (4) create a new JSF called "Search.jsp', which will be the search engine;
  (5) from App Module, select EmpView1 (EmpView is updatable, EmpView1 is read-only, but it is not serious on the research plan), drag and drop the EmpView1 on your
  Search.jsp as an array of the ADF (not a search ADF form). This ADF table then displays the result of the research;
  (6) of the control Module of the App, go to EmpView1 data, drag and drop a "ExecuteWithParams" on your search engine like settings-> parameter ADF
  Form, this will tell ADF you want to set the variable binding as an executable looking for shape parameter.
  That's all! and you're good to go. Do the same for the other variable binding (you have 7 search criteria, so you have set 7 bind variable by using the same logic here.

  I have my library filter open and to sort my photos from the two different key words in two columns, so I turn to the key word in both columns option, even if it's only 'All (4 words)' display in the first column and '(1 keyword All)' in column 2. How can I reset it so I have access to sort all my photos based on all the available words?

  You probably have a folder or collection selected as the power source.  The keywords column shows just the keywords found in the selected source.  In the catalogue on the left panel, select all the pictures, then you should see all of your keywords.

• DBA_TABLESPACE_USAGE_METRICS display only shows UNDOTBS2 on node1 of the RAC 2node (11.1.0.7.0)

  I am facing a weird problem on my production db where querying the view of DBA_TABLESPACE_USAGE_METRICS only 1 row (UNDOTBS2) of return on a RAC 2node node1.

  Whereas, node2 returns information about all the tablespace. I can't find the cause of the difference.

  DB Info:

  OS - AIX 6.1

  DB - 11.1.0.7.0 (node 2 CARS) on ASM

  Kindly help me to solve this problem.

  Sorry, I was not more clear.
  1. build the hierarchy of dimension attribule in a State of charge. then, in the second rule of load associate the basic dimension attribute

  2. run the two rules above in reverse order.

  If you automate this, you can do it in an import statement so you get only a restructuring (so it will look like it is built at the same time)

• Attributes in a child entity can be used as attributes in the rules to Excel

  I have two attributes declared in the file properties in a child entity (dependent) - one is a base level attribute that is used as the premise of the other. When I put them in a table of Excel rules, I get an error message "entiity incompatibility" basically says that two attributes are now in the Global and the child entity. I have not declared attributes or entities on the statement page. When I try to declare the child entity, I can't enter a valid entity Type value. I use the Version OPM 10.0.1.14

  Sorry, you will need to create an intermediary at the level of the procedure for this one (eg. "procedure is the dates of entry and exit") is not a bad idea anyway, that this test would otherwise be repeated for each row of the table. Another option is to test this condition outside the table entirely.

  Excel tables are entirely focused on the AND, and although you might it false by dividing the State into two independent lines, it won't work as expected if one of the conditions could be evaluated as unknown (ie. have no value, as opposed to false). This is because in the OPA, a row of a table should be proven false before you can use any line later.

  According to the structure that you process, it might be interesting to use a table in Word (complete AND/OR is allowed) or the creation of an intermediary to represent the usable in Excel OR condition.

  One of my current OPA integrations is to replace an Excel application that calculates the values of the entity on rows and columns. In the version of the OPA, the lines are separated in the screens and columns - results - are displayed in a record of decision that shows one value per line and is not aligned perpendicularly. What makes the results much more difficult to visualize 'quickly' compared to the legacy solution. I wonder if there is any way to integrate tabular formatting (mainly vertical alignment) in the record of decision - is - anyone know?

  With version 10.3 and the integration of BI Publisher, you can design any format for decisions as you want. When you use BI publisher, a totally personalized decision report is easy enough. See the OPM help topic ' code BI Publisher for Oracle Policy Modeling "and/or the example provided with 10.3 for more information. If you use the web service to make decisions, you might also post process the XML for the decision report (i.e. using XSLT or code) to produce a table in XML or HTML format. Customization of the record of decision 'default' in a tabular view would be probably more difficult than the other options.

  I have a rules database that allows members of a household to apply for certain services. Also, some documents must be submitted in order to complete the application process.
  
  Documents may or may not be required for all members of the household. For example, lets assume that the application requests a certificate of disability. This must be made by only those who are disabled.
  
  I want to display the list of members (on the summary screen) for which a particular document is required.
  
  How can I get this list? I tried to store member names in a global variable, but failed.
  The basis of rules is a separate entity to capture members of the household.

  Out-of-the-box in version 10, you cannot attach level entity attributes to the summary screen.

• How can I display only a part of the screen?

  My screen contains a title and simple 5 LayoutManagers.

  (but it's not complicated, we could simplify to only three LayoutManagers: upper, middle and lower).

  I want only one of them to be scrollable (one named "_fieldManagerMiddle"), since it will contain long text, others must stay fix, since they contain graphics and Menu. In particular, the last Director downstairs (_fieldManagerBottom) must remain where it is.

  (1) my problem is:

  When the_fieldManagerMiddle contains a long text (by clicking a button in the menu of the _fieldManagerMenu above) he is floating, but it means that the entire screen becomes scrollable.

  I tried to add Manager.NO_VERTICAL_SCROLL to other managers, but it did not help.

  It's pretty simple.

  How can I get that only the mid-level becomes scrolls and the rest does not move?

  The best way to do it, is to use the screen, which is already divided into 3 sections, superior, medium and low, of which only half is scrolling.

  The top depends on what you add to setTitle (who may be a Manager), the background is determined by what you add using setStatus (even once, you can add a handler), and just use the normal add to add the scrolling of the Middle component.
