  Hello

  It is not a very direct way to do it. What you can do is to call OCIDescribeAny on the table that you want to get information. You can then get the OCI_ATTR_CHARSET_FORM attribute for the column. If the value of the attribute that you get is SQLCS_IMPLICIT, that would mean its a varchar/char/varchar2 column regular. If you get SQLCS_NCHAR, this means that the column is NCHAR.   A data block can have only 1 scroll bar. If the form is for display purpose, you can create several data bloks that points to the same table for each tab.

  I tried the same code on my machine. By creating a PVO with two attribute transient (editable as always). Then set the attribute of PVO with disabled button property through SPEL. Then used your code and I am able to perform all actions without any error.
  Try to attach the SPEL to render the property if that helps!

  Also check on any other machine also. Like maybe its a problem with your computer only...
