display too small!

I just upgraded to photoshop elements 14 and I can't read the display at 100% and it is too big (icons are off the screen) to 200%. What are my options, other than the software back?

Turn the laptop over.

You would have been very happy with a laptop cheaper no display hdpi.

Seriously, there is no satisfactory solution in your case, for now, other than plugging an adequate external display.

I don't like bad news, but the choice of material is essential. You can use a version of trial software or refund of the software, but it is a pity that no one cares to warn users of the problem you are facing.

  • Web pages and user interface display too small in Firefox 20.0.1 (but fine in IE and Chrome) - how can I fix?

On my Dell Inspiron 7720, running Windows 8 64-bit, Chrome and IE display web pages in their correct format immediately after their installation, but Firefox 20.0.1 displays too little (and the user interface of FF is too small as well).

I went on all kinds of things, it might be and know I can install an add-on to enlarge pages at least, but I really want to get FF displaying correctly of course.

I use my native resolution 1920 x 1080 - laptop and have to display Windows set up for display at 150% - % of Windows display development does not affect display FF.

Can someone tell me please how to get FF displaying correctly (without an add-on.)

    Help appreciated,

  • 100% 72 dpi Photoshop is too small on Mac Retina Display

I see a lot of discussions about this.

Well, the other day, I actually had a tech from Adobe on the line and after a lot of crying and gnashing of teeth, he admits, "it's a matter of Photoshop.

Apparently they are working on it, simply not enough fast. It's a shame because it seriously affects our ability to work effectively in Photoshop as you do not get accurate Visual calibration for most.

We can only hope... Come on Adobe, fix it!

The image isn't 'too small' - your screen has more pixels, pixels so small, so a better resolution. That's the whole point of a Retina display!

100% means that this pixel of an image is represented by a pixel screen. 1: 1. Now consider what it means.

User interface scaling, however, is another question. But this does not affect the display of images.

  • Display of high resolution - too small UI elements

Just got a Toshiba KiraBook - one of the first Windows laptops with a display high-resolution "retina-type". It runs at a resolution of 2560 x 1440.  4.4 Lightroom works fine, but some UI elements are simply too small to this resolution is comfortable - even with my reading glasses on. I know that some type of support 'retina' has been added in LR 4.3 - for MacBook, at least. Not sure if this applies also to Windows? If so, is there a setting I need to change?

My resolution of Windows system fonts is set to 165% - but it does not appear that LR uses this system across its interface setting. Any ideas?  Thank you...

    LR 4.4, Windows 8 Pro 64-bit.

I'm not familiar with the operation in high resolution on Windows, but "Added support for Windows at 150% and 200% of resolution" was one of the new features on the list of the LR5 beta.

  • I did the screen too small (using about: config) and lost the address bar and all the menus. How to restore the display on a screen size can be used?

I changed the size of display screen using about: config, as stated in the other answers help. After you use a value of 1.0, such as recommended, I've experimented with other sizes, because it seems small. I have entered a large number by chance (a typing error) and made the display so small that only a bug could read. And I lost all the features: bar address, menus, home, Favorites, settings icons.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, thinking that this would fix it. But the new facility displays the same way: unreadable and no functionality.

I found instructions on resetting to the factory settings, but cannot perform this task because I have to be able to access the menus to do so.

Hello PaulaBob, have you changed the value of layout.css.devPixelsPerPx? -You can perform the following steps to change the still 'blind ': value

    2. type of topic: config
    3. Press ENTER twice
    4. type devpix
    5. Press the tab key
    6. Press enter
    7. type 1.0
    8. Press ENTER again and I hope you should be normal visibility now

  • Toolbar icons - can't do icons only and too small icons

    General complaint

SO VERY frustrating to have to deal with the changes that are completely unnecessary and unwanted! It looks like Chrome now. If I wanted to use Chrome, I would use Chrome! Why Firefox feels that it is necessary to set a watch to work?

Cannot get rid of the text of the icon

Although the option bar Tools Customize is set to icons only (default), the text does not disappear and leave me with only the icons.

I had a custom (with my own selection of buttons) toolbar and he survived the upgrade to FF29, but after I installed Classic theme restaurateur, I lost it again (who had had a problem with FF28, where I he would suddenly lose at the start and had to rebuild).

I have rebuilt the toolbar after the upgrade to 29 and he showed the icons only in the beginning. But I repositioned the new toolbar among the toolbars another and this is the text of the icon insisted appearing with icons. I can't get rid of the text now.

    Icon size too small

The new icons are microscopic! Even when I set the size to the largest, that I can find, in all settings, I can find it, they at least half as before.

I installed the Restorer Classic theme, but affecting the icons large NAV only applies to the top row icons (where the address bar), not added on toolbars or manually added toolbars. Zoom text applies only to the displayed web page, not in Firefox itself. (Also, large nav buttons are barely visible and seriously ugly; they are not simply a larger version of the default icons).

How can I report the usual size of the icons of the previous version?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    1. install Classic restaurateur theme
    2. at the top right of firefox click the button 3 stripes and then customize
    3. at the bottom, you will see settings to show only icons pretty icons and text. There are also small buttons etc. These are all added by the Restorer of classic theme. It also fixes the problem invisible inactive tabs and tiny refresh button problem.

  • I have a 22 inch monitor set to 150%, but since I installed Firefox, the font is too small and the screen is too small. Cannot enlarge font or screen. I can do control ++ whenever I have enter a page but don't want it as my solution.

Control/display panel, I got my screen set at 150% and a resolution of 1680 X 1050. It filled my screen 22 inch with the content of the page. Now that I have installed Firefox, the police is too small and the content is centered in the screen leaving about3"each side of the space empty. I want to fill the screen and make things bigger. Have not found a way to do it. Firefox tells me in my window/display of the control panel that setting my display at 150%, ' some elements may not match your screen if you choose this setting if your screen is positioned on this resolution. " It worked fine with the Explorer.
