DMS authentication reports

Hello

Is there documentation on Digitial media signage which will show audit and logging user, authenticate to the machine DMS, successful authentication or authentication failure?

As I saw it on our links, the only one available is so far the User Guide for Cisco Digital Media Manager 5.2.x authentication from this link:

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/video/digital_media_systems/5_x/5_2/DMM/user/guide/Admin/auth.html#wp1162364

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Elen

Ellen,

At that time, DMS devices do not connect you to the activity of authentication

for successes or failures.

  • Confusion of NAR ACS3.2

I get unexpected results with shared network access restrictions.

For example, I have a group of users who can authenticate a firewall, but I won't allow them to authenticate to the wireless access points.

I have a group of network called firewall that contains the AAA client firewall. And a group in wireless network that contains clients wireless of AAA.

When to seek a NAR who has ip access restrictions based allowing access to

    The firewall port * x.x.x IP. *.

A group of users, members of this group can still authenticate wireless access point.

    The previous authentication report shows:

Access filter firewall of USERGROUP1 didn't miss any criteria. This is enough to satisfy a "Selected Any" SPC NAR config.

I assumed that if you create a NAR that specifically authorizes or denies access to an AAA client or a group, that it works as expected.

Ideally I want to consolidate all of my points in a group network wireless access and be able to allow a user or group user access to them using NAR.

Any help or comments would be appreciated.

OK, it's a little weird in the way including its CiscoSecure implemented at the level of

Basically, there are two types of filters

    CLI/DNIS-dialup and IP

What is happening is that authentication times the RADIUS server try determien what type of access is requested.

There is a LAYER 3 and above all access style or is it a style of LAYER 2 access.

It does this by inspecting the CLI field and if his IP applys the filter an IP address

If it does not find a valid IP address he uses the filter CLI/DNIS

In this particular case a request from a wireless access point is considered THAT CLI/DNIS filter since it is LAYER 2 access.

If you also set a CLI/DNIS filter for users of theses as DENYS all that then I think it should work as you expect.

  • ACS 5.2 authorization policy

    Hello

is there a method to control access to the WLAN (PEAP) different on the same ACS 5.2 and WLC?

In other words, ago 14:00 one of the groups have access to the domain network only the other group only have access to the internet
and maybe a third group with access to both networks.

Currently if I add new authorization policy, the user will have access to two networks...

    Thank you, in advance.

Yes HRT is possible, the ssid is transported in the station id called which is an av pair sent in the access-request packet. The called-station-id format is, so you can combine this with the AD1:ExternalGroups and assign the result of access permit or deny access depending on your implementation, you can build your strategy for leave to a compound affection of "called-station-id ends with ssid". Also, the ssid is case-sensitive when acs makes its decision so keep that in mind.

If you look at the ACS authentication report, you can see the ssid that I am referring to the id of the station called the newspaper.

    Hope that helps

  • Product reported as no key authentic

In the last few days that I've been forced to re - format my laptop wives which takes place in a XP Home, due to a rather nasty virus who refused to go.

When I reinstalled the operating system and enter the license key from the coa on the underside sticker, I was informed that the key was not authentic?

The laptop worked with that touch of coa for years and suddenly it says that it is not authentic, how is it!

The laptop has been regularly updated via windows update, if the key was false that the update would not work.

Question is what can be done to solve the problem and before you suggest to buy another license key, forget about it. I have a GENUINE copy of windows XP Home Edition purchased with the laptop and WITHOUT INTENTION of pockets of BG others by purchasing another license. I would like someone from Microsoft to contact me with a solution OR free another key that I do not condone software hacked and I've always had authentic versions of windows.

To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
    Once saved, run the tool.

Windows 7 Pro. came pre-installed on my Toshiba laptop. I have this problem since upgrading my laptop drive with a disc more than new. I used the Windows Disk Image to install the new drive. Otherwise, nothing else has changed, other than a bigger disk with a new score.

    Dave

The issue is addressed in MS KB Article # 982018. It is available for download to apply, but before that, I met another suggestion that was with drivers Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Once a I found a download link for this, install & reboot has apparently fixed the problem. I was able to run Windows Update & 1 update was available.

After running this, I tried downloading the Microsoft KB article, but he said that the problem has been resolved. Patch Tuesday is tomorrow, so we'll see how it works.

Seems to be a lot of that. Desktop Gateway bought from Future Shop, more than two years, has recently popped up a notice of MS Windows is not genuine. It was preinstalled on my system so very well when I first set up the machine. Office is also authentic, I installed from DVD.

Well, that solves 80% of them. This usually fixes the others:

    Please run the

following commands at a command prompt

    NET STOP CRYPTSVC

    CAT2OLD REN C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CATROOT2

    NET START CRYPTSVC

Once finished, leave the system alone for at least an hour rebuild

the database, then restart, and run another report MGADiag.

Note that this will delete your update history - but all updates will remain

installed and can be found in the updates installed at registration.

  • Reports 12 c authentication problem

    Hello

Earlier, I could access to http://NomServeur/rapports/rwservlet/showjobs and another servlet orders easily, in the version 12 c, I can't pass this screen:

    auth.png

I tried to change the password and restart the server as stated in this link:https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12839_01/bi.1111/b32121/pbr_conf002.htm#i1007074

    And I have two problems:

-I have found no "targets.xml" except in a single location (% DOMAIN_HOME%\sysman\state) and the file is empty.

-I can not find how to disable this authentication.

    Thank you

    Hello.

If you have an oracle support see Doc ID 2072876.1 for in-process or Doc ID 2071879.1 for the stand-alone reporting server.

    Best regards.

  • patterns of authentication and interactive reports

    Hello

I have 2 groups of users with different levels of security access, so I need to restrict certain data in the interactive report. I want to create 1 report with all data and 1 report that excludes certain documents based on one of the fields. Can I do this using an authentication scheme? Can someone direct me to some good instructions on how to do this? I'm open to other suggestions as well.

I have another thread on that as well, but I wonder about another method (limitation of access to the records in interactive report), hoping that it will be a little easier.

    Thank you!

Authentication schemes are used to establish the identity of a user. Common methods to include validating a username and password, call an external mechanism to the SSO or scan of a fingerprint. Authentication schemes are not related to your problem.

Did you actually means 'permission' rather than 'authentication '? Authorisation schemes determine the actions by controlling access to pages and components of APEX, a user can run. You can use authorization to control if a user sees a report region, but not the lines that are shown in this report (although technically possible, it is generally not the best approach).

In short: authentication determines the identity of the user. Authorization determines the operations that a user with this identity can perform. Restricted access control these operations can be performed on the data.

What you need is an access control and DTV and view the methods described in the other thread are solutions to that. Close this message and focus on the other.

  • Reports do not post after you have defined the field of authentication

    Hello

to solve a different problem (see 1570267.1) I had to put the field of authentication in my Web profile (empty previously), after which the reports do not report in the report repository. The message log looks like this:

The XML returned by the web server is not valid.

Failed to create the XML document object.

Cannot process the report repository HTTP response.

    Transfer HTTP error.

I tried that once the domain of authentication field is left blank, the report repository works again.

There are some configuration that I need to find, the documentation mentions this:

"Enter the domain in which runs the portal, starting with a period. The main period is required. The correct setting, for example, is. Corp.com not corp.com. A field of authentication is required for a variety of features in portal. For example, if a cookie is shared on the web servers foo.peoplesoft.com and bar.peoplesoft.com, you must specify an authentication domain of. PeopleSoft.com. This value is required if you specify a default value for the addressing of the server name on the Configuration of the Web - page of virtual address profile. You must qualify this server with the domain name. If you need a domain here name, then you must set weblogic.httpd.session.cookie.domain in weblogic.properties to this domain name. If you do not override the domain here then the value specified during installation will be used. »

I'm confused by the present, what is weblogic.properties? I can't find such a file on the server, should I seek weblogic.xml instead? Where to enter the parameters of weblogic.httpd.session.cookie.domain ? And what other settings do I - is the application server default_auth_token relevant? Any settting on the web server? I remember AuthTokenDomain in configuration.properties, but this setting has no impact.

    Thanks for any input.

The environment is HRMS 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53

The solution was to change host URI node IP address, fully qualified domain name report. Reboot, repeat the test. Similar problem is described in the Doc ID 625148.1

    Hello.
I bought windows XP for this model. I opened the package and I "CA certificate", in front of me.
I could not register and activate online because 'the connectivity check' would hang some time and then gives me an error (message number 32781).
I went through the process of activation by phone and everything was fine.

  • Bug report: application process runs even if the user is not authenticated.

    Hi all

I just stumbled on something that looks like a bug or a security problem for me:
When you have an application at a point 'Load - before the header (header of page template)' this process is executed no matter if a user is logged on or past validates a session ID in the URL.

    Example:
In my Application, I have an application process to download a file when a certain application is defined. I chose the application process to hide the url/location of the user files and make sure that this file can only be downloaded in an application context (thank you Dene for inspiration: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=31517:15]). This works really well and did all the things I want to do.
But then I tried to call my download URL (for example http://myhost:myport / mytest/pls/f? p = 1234:0:123123123123:DOWNLOAD_FILE:NO ::) from another computer without logging in.) I expected to get the login screen of my application and all my pages require authentication, but I got the file.

To work around this problem, I put in condition of the pl/sql process ": APP_USER IS NOT NULL AND: ASK 'DOWNLOAD_FILE' = ', now it works as expected and shows the login page if the user is not authenticated or given to the session id is null/not valid."

I am mistaken and that the process should not run? I put same authorization "must not be public user" who has been ignored as well.

    Peter

    Peter and Dene,

Thank you for this comment. I agree that this is a bug and we'll fix it. A solution you can set the attribute Public user of your application to PUBLIC_USER. As long as your FATHER connects as apex_public_user it shouldn't break anything.

  • Windows 7 reported as not authentic

Upgrade to W7Ultimate. A few weeks ago got non-genuine Windows message. Tried to reinstall using the same key, I used for the upgrade. Key rejected. Still no message "non-genuine".

Have you tried to restart by phone?

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

  • Bug report: authentication

    Integration of advertisements

We must use AD, especially the ad groups, manage access to loginsight, and we need to be a secure connection.

For us, the best integration would be to have these LDAP connection settings:

    -Host & Port

    -SSL is enabled

-Bind DN & bind DN password

    -Base user DN

    -Group base DN (use groups)

I tried to configure AD based on usage and documentation of LogInsight 1.5 beta secure ldap Protocol

    Document: Journal-insight-15-administration - guide.pdf

    lack of strike - small /usr/lib/loginisight/app / etc. /loginsight-config - base.xml

    expected to be-- / usr/lib/loginisight / etc. /application/loginsight-config-base.XML

    Question n ° 1

'LogInsight EMS Admins' - group in AD

    • Adding group does not work - SOME users in this ad group are not able to access loginsight...
      • We have more than 1 domain: corp.emc.com. Eng. EMC.com... some users have the UPN suffix that is simply "@emc.com.
      • We use the service account to bind to AD, it is the area of corp.emc.com

    1 change the config:

add < ad-protocols value = "LDAPS" / > for specifically using LDAP with SSL only

-How to check that it uses the ldaps Protocol? is it really ldaps?

    2. service loginsight restart

Question 2 (known - ESX stopped sending data)

    3. the lost data

The host of "loginsight:514" has become inaccessible.  Stopped A logging remotely to this host.

    4. administration-> integration-> vSphere

ESXi hosts configured to send logs to log Insight

Click on "View ESXi syslog configuration details... »

Check the list of the hosts 'Configured' ESXi, reselect them and 'configure selected.

-is it possible to 'automate' this when you need to restart LogInsight?

    5. the data are back -need to check if we have double entries in ESX logging section
