Do not download a background image...

Okay - there seems to be a bit of a bug with the Image download process - for backgrounds. Once you download the new image and watch it load in the portal, you click DONE and the collection you were editing said not "stale". Rest on "published". I signed and also refreshed the page - and also through the menu and back in the article. No joy!

All magic spells would be appreciated...

It is a bug. We are working on that.

  • can not download the iso images for vSphere

    Hello

You also have this problem, that you do not see the iso images available for download for ESX 3.5, and after logging in order to obtain trial of vSphere, email is not in your Inbox?

I can't download then all the necessary installation iso images.

Thanks in advance for any help :/

    Hello

Transferred to vSphere install and upgrade day & forum.

Go to http://www.vmware.com/downloads you can then select vSphere. To do this, you will need to connect to your VMware Store account and then download the appropriate ISOs. Without the VMware Store account you can not download the images. If you select evaluation, you will need to complete administrative formalities, then wait for a response. Which can take 24 hours or more.

I want to change the background image of my site and changed only one page so far, but the image is not displayed in IE but shows in safari, why would it be?

As shown in your list of directories.

Firstly the resize - about 200K is tops for any html background.

In addition, standardize your file names - remove spaces and reserved for lowercase. Your current page has spaces that is not an acceptable standard.

  • Apex 5.0: Theme Roller and background image

    Hi all

I'm new to APEX 5, but have many years experience with HTMLDB/APEX.

I created a dummy application with only a blank page. Now I want to give a background image for all the pages of my apex application. To do this, I downloaded a picture of 'images of the workspace' and now, I would like to use this image as a background image. Here are my questions:

    1. How can I declare this image as background image using the custom field 'CSS' roll theme?
    2. Is this possible using the theme roller?

    Thank you

    Hi S-Max,

of course, it is possible and it is not necessary to change the universal theme page templates. You can easily do with theme roller.

    1. Go to components-> themes-> universal theme shared
    2. Scroll down to the region of "files".
    3. Download your background image with the 'Upload File' button (Note: this is not a static file request or workspace, instead, this will be a static file of the theme!)
    4. Run your application
    5. Open the theme roller and choose your theme style
    6. Go to the "Custom CSS" attribute
    7. Use the CSS code you have pasted above, but delete #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #.
    8. Click Save / Save as (-> generates the new theme CSS stylesheet file, which is stored as a static file of the theme next to your background image.) That's why you can make reference to the image with a relative URL).
    9. Click the current value (if the custom theme style is not already the current)
    10. Topic close Roller
    11. The above generated theme style CSS file gets charge and your background image should display

  • Set a background image w / Flash

    Hello-

Is it possible to set up a background image (repeat or not repetitive) that space scenic floats above.

When I use the file > publishing settings > HTML > publish - it creates the HTML document but any area outside of the scene is colored with the default phase color - can it be implemented in Flash or changed in HTML?

Here is a section of the HTML document:

    Thank you-Ben L

Yes you can, but flash does not add any background image for you. It only generates the HTML file with the script object incorporation. Then, you will need to add the HTML script to add the background. You will also need to set the SWF object as transparent so that it will be "hover" on the HTML file. Do that by setting the property wmode dipping, code that looks like this: http://www.pastie.org/822998. Or set the window Mode HTML publication to "Transparent Windowless" Settings tab.

  • background image stops repeating leaving white areas in my top banner page

I have a banner built using three images. One to the left, the right image, and a third which should tile between the left and right images.

In IE, it works very well, in Firefox, it stops tiling and leave a small area white when displayed on the very wide screens (mine is 1920 x 1080). He thin tiles on smaller screens of width.

Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

You can try the steps and check if you are able to see the background on the logon screen.
    a. Click Start, and then type gpedit.msc
    b. navigate to Computer Configuration and go to administrative templates and go to System.
    c. go to connection and set the "bottom always use custom logon" to activate.
    d. create a folder named C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\backgrounds
    e. put the file you want, and then name it backgroundDefault.jpg
    f. check your other background for the dimensioning of the info files

  • 7841 SIP Phone - Background Image

Can I get a positive confirmation that the SIP 7841 landline does not support custom background images?  I've seen on google images that seem to show a 78xx research phone with a screen saver snoopy or similar image and this lead me to believe that this phone could have a custom background or a picture of timeout/screensaver.

  • Integrating an Interactive music player that causes a change in background images?

Hello, I am quite new to Adobe Muse and would like some advice.

Would it be possible to have an interactive music player? I would have so that when the viewer clicks and goes the song in the music player, a picture of medium size on the page change and not oppose.

So if the viewer clicks on a track that is dark and scary, the image beside this track will also change for something dark and scary.

When I talk about the picture here, I do not mean the background image. I just want to say a separate image next to the music player.

How plausible would be and how can I implement that?

    I'd appreciate any help.

  • Help me understand the use of background images in "parallax is Fun!"

    Hello!

I'm new to Muse, and I'm breaking the Parallax is fun how was created. I've been watching the file of the Muse and the source of the page, and I can't understand how the background has been added. The image with the stars a single image file, for example, or the bottom of everything, with colors and gradients, all a long background image? Each of the colored rectangles is a fill, or they are part of a large background image?

In my file of Muse, these images seem not to be a browser fill - filling browser just appears as gray for me in the room. But I don't know if it's because the assets came not with the file of Muse, or because I do not understand how background images have been added.

    Thank you!

You are probably confused because you can't select rectangles is home, the stars and the colored background.

Go to the object menu and click on "Unlock all on the page" to unlock all locked elements and after that, you will be able to select, move and individually control each object on the page. The stars is just a rectangle with a picture fill configuration.

    Hope that helps.

    See you soon,.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer any help.

    Daisy

Daisy, there is hope for everyone.

The good news is that it works in IE9, FF20, Chrome, Safari and other features of CSS level 3 support.

The bad news is that images of multiple-background in the selector similarly do not appear in pre - IE9 because they are not browsers compliant web standards.  Never have been, never will be.

The solution would be to feed the lesser browsers IE conditional comment with a single background image.

Or break things upwards, some more by applying unique background for html selectors, body and .header images.
