Does my iPhone 6 catch a virus

Is it possible that my phone can get viruses? Is there a way to check if I do?

If your phone was not jailbroken, it doesn't have a virus.

So I was on a website & it redirect me to another one & he said that the iOS device had a virus & I need to call a number immediately, I closed the application & stopped, I restarted the application & it was fine, but now I'm just a little worried. I have all my accounts connected social media & I wonder if something must be comprimised, I mean that everything is perfect with the exception of Twitter, he always tells me that I have a notification, but I did not. • How exactly does the IPhone update program?

    Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade to the new version IPhone 7. I just checked my status for an upgrade based on the Apple

program, I'm not eligible, but because I am enrolled in the program of upgrade last month so I have to wait until February to ask the new IPhone.

My question is, what can I do with the 6-6 s that I am eligible to do the upgrade?

can I exchange the two? How does the upgrade work? My AT & T w contract expires at the end of this month so the 6 will be finally unlocked. I assumed that I could sell it on the street...

See this support document for an explanation of the Apple iPhone to upgrade program. http://www.Apple.com/shop/iPhone/iPhone-upgrade-program

If you are in the program for these phones, so if you decide to upgrade to the 12 month mark, then you have to turn these devices to get the new phone. The other option is to pay them off, how they will be yours.

  • No GPS solid does difficulty (Iphone 6 IOS 9.3.5)

On my iPhone with IOS 9.3.5 6 does not have GPS. Navigation applications do not work because the GPS has an accuracy of 100 m or more. I got a new GPS antenna installed to get rid of the problem, but it doesn't seem to be the problem. So, probably, it's a software problem? The strange thing is a moment, it seems that the gps has a good fix, the other time the accuracy went (up to 1,000 m or more?). I don't understand? More people with this kind of problem?

iPhones use "assisted GPS" for a location more precise. This means that data GPS are combined with the relay antenna, Wi - Fi and Bluetooth same known places. If these are not available, the accuracy will be lower.

Also note that the GPS requires at least 12.5 minutes to get a location. It's time to get the signal of two satellites. Three would be much better.

  • iPhone 6 catch Mail, how can I turn it off?

    Hi all

Can someone advise me please how to stop my iPhone 6 E-mail grabbing seemingly at random intervals? My desire is to Mail application NEVER get email on its own. I prefer to receive emails when I run the app and do it manually, then that's fine. But I don't like looking down at my phone and see 75 emails are all of a sudden and I did nothing. (I don't know if I send a photo of Photos or something similar, it will bring in mail automatically because the application opens behind the scenes to send my picture.) "So I know to send by mail when something like that happens).

    Here are the details:

    -l' 6, 64 GB, WiFi + Verizon iPhone

    -4 email accounts

-When I go here: settings-> Mail, Contacts, calendars I can now put "Retrieve the new data" because it or off, mine is set to OFF

-In the same settings page as above, when I hit "fetch", he brings me to the page "Search for new data" (which, even once, it is set to OFF). On this page, I have the following settings: Push: OFF, iCloud: MANUAL, Comcast: MANUAL, Gmail: MANUAL, Yahoo!: MANUAL, the holiday calendar: MANUAL

    - And finally, at the bottom of this page, I "Get" the value "manually" and I NOT put it for any time interval.

So I put as many things as I can think of 'OFF' or 'MANUAL '. But the Mail is still coming through himself. What I am doing wrong? I thank very you much for any assistance. I'm going crazy here trying to think of what I'm missing or forget.

Did you do a hard reboot on your phone? Home button and Sleep/Wake button together for 7 to 10 seconds.

  • Some keys on the keyboard does work not after the suspect virus on Tecra

Apostrophe, delete, semicolon and the end of the keys no longer work after a suspected virus attack. I found the same problem on the net record but apparently this guy fixes his problem after stop scroll or NumLock on found him.

This isn't the case here, but it's something with numlock - registry Watch 2 and not 0. switch to 0 but when reboot 2 times.
Suspect has changed through the bios. I thought that I couldn't get to the bios because DEL key does not but found ESC works.
Tried to reset the values default to the bios but then can't save and exit it in accordance with the EndKey to work.

I was running XP at the time of the (alleged) attack and could not correct the problem so to put the computer OEM as I hoped would help - there no, same problem, so instead of installing all the software on the computer with XP I upgraded to Windows7 - charge install.

Keys still don't work - it was a real pain first as my computer was created for ctl + alt + delete to log on and I had to do with the keyboard of the screen - XP - it showed also that numlock performed before and after windows starts.

The reason why I suspect a virus - my wife was watching an of its tv shows on the line of the country of origin (an another toshiba laptop) and I needed to use this laptop for something else, so I asked to use mine - then we turned off laptops and the morning turned tham back on again once , the other laptop with virus protection AVG reported several hits and this one with Norton (FAMOUS and completely up-to-date) flagged nothing - once I got the screen keyboard.

Problems with this computer were found after scanning with different antivirus.
Anyway - I find myself with 4 keys that don't work not on my keyboard (in fact they work after I have connected to the computer for the first time, but I had to hold them in place for a long time - and then the next time I rebooted, not at all and did not since)

Here, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm working on this all weekend with no joy at all.

    Thanks in advance.

Having a virus attack, the Windows files will be destroyed. Try the scan with kaspersky on Nod 32. If not help, reinstall os because it is the best solution in your case.

    Hi all

I have a three year, iPhone 4, which now has a virus. I tried to restore my iPhone 3 times, but it will not fix it. It started when I opened an application from Smule called Smule Sing. The virus came immediately, I tried to remove the app and as I mentioned to restore the phone, but it's still there. I'm unable to use, only can compose and listen to music. I don't know what to do. Help, please.

  • Windows Update and System Restore does not work after that the virus

I recently had a virus on my computer, when I finally had removed my windows update does not work, my system restore will restore to any previous point and my computer seems to generally work more slowly.  Also groovemonitor seems still exists but is not really available to use, it runs in the process but is not available anywhere else.  Any suggestions?

    Hi TedDanson,

    1. do you get an error message when you try to run the restore system or Windows updates?

I suggest you run a complete antivirus scan using Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that there is no virus infection:

  • Notepad opens at random, does not appear in the Vista virus research

    IE / Vista / FujitsuLifebook

    Hi jellybean.

MSCONFIG will help only if the problem only occurs at startup - not if it occurs randomly during the day (unless a malicious software program is installed in the startup programs, but then it is a malware problem and not really a problem of program).

It doesn't sound like you are infected, and before you try all of the other fixes, we should exclude.  I guess you have run a full scan with any security software you use and he come clean - but only one program is not enough and the best is to try several and eventually obtain the assistance of an expert or the confirmation (or work around the personal effort and request the assistance of experts from the beginning).  Please proceed as follows:

First, try the following programs if you do not, because they can help. I recommend you download, install, update and run full scans with Malwarebytes:http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and SuperAntiSpyware:http://superantispyware.com/ and then run a full scan of Microsoft Security:http://www.microsoft.com/security/default.aspx. This may or may not remove the infections, but will probably not correct the damage caused by them. Even if they or your current AV software seem to work or indicate that you are not infected, you should not completely trust in them and must continue with the recommendations that follow (so it's up to you if you want to try them first, or just ignore all this and get help from an expert you really need as described below).

Correctly and completely remove these infections can be complex and often require manual removal procedures (which may or may not be entirely effective either). Even if they work, I suggest what follows in any case, so that we can start it (you can ignore the methods above if you want it really is the way forward, but it won't hurt to them for trying).

Please follow these recommendations of JimR1 - MVP compliments:

  • Does 7 Iphone bought from USA to India?

Hey I'm from the India. I want to know that if I buy the Iphone 7 of the United States, while it will be unlocked and it'll work in India or not?... and if yes, then which carrier would be the best for the Iphone 7 work easily in India? Thank you

While you can buy a device to the United States, it may not work with all bands of LTE in India, and the guarantee for the iPhone is good in the country of purchase. If you have a problem with the device, you must go to the United States for the service.

  • Does Verizon iPhone 6s more support both GSM and CDMA network?

Agents I knew, I had confused information about what my 6s of Verizon Plus iPhone supports. Only one person in the store said that it supports as well the networks outside the United States, but no other network except Verizon in the USA. Another person said that it supports only the USA and outside CDMA network. Once I get it unlocked, it supports both GSM and CDMA outside Verizon networks in the United States and in other countries? It's the truth? Thank you very much!

Yes. It supports both GSM and CDMA, however, many carriers non-CDMA using us what they call a "CDMA SIM". It will not work on these networks.
