  Hello-

  Before installing Tablet PS worked very well; the stand-alone or launched from Lightroom.  After the installation of the driver of the tablet of software (WacomTablet_6.3.15 - 3.dmg) PS will now hang on launching regardless of LR or autonomous.  Desinstallion software Wacom and even rebooted but the problem persists.  The PS is updated.  Impossible to get an exact version because of the inability to launch.

  Tablet works as expected.

  Any help is appreciated.

  Could not find an answer that question.

  Photoshop CS6 Extended is additional options on top of Photoshop CS6...  They are not separate programs, just additional features enabled or disabled (enabled or disabled) by licensing as David said.

  So I do not know why you want or need to do anyway, editing is determined by the serial number, so you can't really "downgrade".

  I have a weird problem. I have been using Photoshop 64 bit CC quite happily for the past few weeks.  This morning I used it OK, but more later when I clicked on Photoshop - at all, nothing happens. No error message, no launch - nothing!  The same thing when I went to the 32 but the launch version.

  Even my old Photoshop CS 5.1 still works OK, as CC with Lightroom and Bridge CC.

  I run a Windows 7 PC. Everything on board is legitimate and authorized.  I tried restart and right clicking (open as administrator) and even go in Program Files and double click the file Photoshop.exe - nothing.

  It worked fine a few hours ago, and I did not (knowingly) changes.  Does anyone have any suggestions as I am at a total loss.  I'm not new to computers, but I've never seen any program to do before.

  Thanks for your suggestion.  I had already registered and activated the product and used it for about two weeks.

  About two minutes before that your message, I managed to 'fix' the situation, but I really don't understand what happened.  After running virus scans, restart the PC twice and signing in and out of the clouds, I went the Windows Task Manager and finished each Adobe Service, including that where the name of the service was meaningless, but the description says something like Adobe product manager. When I tried to restart Photoshop, it came with a new screen welcoming me to CC (not the usual window of the CC) and asking me to create or connect with my sign-in of Adobe.

  When I did, he said "this product is now part (my name).  Although already, he was and appeared in my CC account.  From there, the CC PS looked OK (so far).

  So even if the product had been activated and showed as being one of my products CC online, somehow, something on my computer has changed and decided that it was not.  I hope that this won't happen again, but if that's the case I know something I can try is manually never stop the Adobe Service and restart.

  I had Photoshop elements 12 and loved and it worked well on my laptop, but when my boyfriend bought 13 I wanted of course to the new version and there is a sale or anything adobe offered me by e-mail and I took, but it was in April that I bought and I still can't use it. I downloaded and put my serial number, but it just keeps telling me to connect and when I do it keeps coming back to the login page it does nowhere else. I tried to uninstall it and everything, I don't know what to do. As far as I know is I bought April 3 and it's September and I was not able to use it again.

  Please uninstall the software and then perform the procedure below.

  Rename the folder SLCache of SLCache.old, located at the following location:

  • Windows: \Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe
  • Mac: System/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  Once done, restart the machine and reinstall the software and activate it.

• Photoshop CS6 crashes on launch, the 'sweep of the presets' after the "Topaz" plugin loading / Mac El Capitan

  In my view, there was a question yesterday about Photoshop CS6 hanging on scanning presets.

  I've recently upgraded to El Capitan 10.6.8 and Photoshop CS6 open. I installed a new 2 TB drive, installed El Capitan and done a migration assistant to move my apps on El Capitan.

  Photoshop has opened after that, by some of my plugins did not exist.

  I had to spend my "Topaz" filters, so I downloaded the 7 of them that I have and install.

  I went to use a Topaz Remask Plugin and had a mistake. The website of "Topaz" says that I need to change the property of/usr/lib. So I changed my id property and did a chmod 775 on the directory.

  After I did, Photoshop started hanging on the "presets" analysis  I made the recommendation of discussion yesterday and got to the Show Package Contents for CS6.

  CS6 ran here. This opens a terminal window and about went off of the CS6.

  Now I have a dialog box stating «Skip optional loading and plugins» third  Adobe Photoshop CS6 screen says "Looking for preferences.

  I can't click 'Yes' on the Skip loading dialog box. the Mac made some King of noise when I try and click Yes or when I try and move the start CS6 screen.

  The Terminal window shows this:

  OK, I can get in PSCS6 now after the re - install.  All preferences and stuff that I had Setup will have to be worked through. But at least I can get open. -Thank you
