  Side of the problem:

  (1) I have to double-click the list item for the opening of url that I provided by the golink component. On one leg, his does not work.

  Sounds like a Windows problem. Try right-clicking and select ALWAYS open with feature. Who is supposed to fix the link. If this does not work, open the type of file under TOOLS menu > Folder Options (display XP, can be different in VISTA). If you select advanced as PDF, you get a link under the open > modify something like "c:\adobeapp\acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe" '%1 '. The comment you make looks like %1 or quotes are missing.
