Hello reda,.

1 is that the weblogic 12.2.1 is officially released for purchase?

> Yes, and it can be downloaded from Oracle Fusion Middleware software downloads for purchase contact Oracle Support.

2. can I use in this customer implemented?

> License is required as another release of WebLogic (independently of you use it instead of customer or anywhere else).

3. is there an all new bugs arise in 12.2.1 weblogic Server?

> Oracle support team keeps track of bugs go on. So if you want to know the list of bugs or already known on 12.2.1 issues free, then contact technical support Middleware of Oracle.

4. compare to the other versions is that there are more changes?

> Yes, there are a lot of major changes. Some major changes are described in the release notes: https://docs.oracle.com/middleware/1221/wls/NOTES/whatsnew.htm#NOTES521

5. is that there is no document for deployment in the 12.2.1?

6. for the control of the Enterprise Manager Middleware and JRF, I create the RCU for this in 12.2.1(in 11 g qu'aucune unité de coordination Régionale n'est nécessaire pour les EM et JRF)?

> Sorry! I don't have the question clearly.

7. the advantages and disadvantages for the installation of the server weblogic 12.2.1 for customer (customer site) in place?

> Depends on what your customers want to implement.  Or what kind of legacy system your client use depending on whether you may need some minor efforts to upgrade your application to 12.2.1. I suggest you go through the 12.2.1 the release notes to see if all newly added feature breaks the functionality of your customer or not and if necessary and then change your client application accordingly.

  • Doubts about Weblogic Cluster and application deployment

    Hi all

    WebLogic...: 12.1.2

    ... OS: AIX 7.1

We intend to create a Weblogic cluster at 2 knots in different sites to comply with the requirements of the customer HA. With this in mind im a few doubts began to rise:

    (1) this solution will have a server in site A Weblogic and an another Weblogic Server on site B, and we will create a Weblogic cluster with these 2 servers. It is equivalent to an Oracle extended RAC, but with Weblogic. Our link between sites is extremely fast, dedicated, with a latency of less than 5 ms. Is it possible and cost-effective to build such a solution?

    (2) regarding the deployment of the application, I would like to know if it is possible to deploy an application on Weblogic Server just on node A, and this application is automatically replicated on the Weblogic Server in site B? As far as I know, I have to deploy the application on both Weblogic servers manually.

Thanks for the patience and attention.

Yes: is very easy to configure the (much easier than configuring PAP) weblogic server cluster.

You can deploy your application on weblogic cluster: his will be automatically deployed to all members of the cluster (all managed servers)

  • Doubt ClassLoading

    Hello

I have my doubts on Weblogic classloading and ask for your help.

I understand it or not a link web on classloading this ewvery application has its own chargers for custom classes.

My EAR contains 4 WARS. Every war has a web-inf\lib and libraries that are present in the other web-in\lib too. Some of the libraries are also present in weblogic. I'm currently playing with weblogic - application.xml and try my hand on the use of tag < classloader-structure >.

    My doubts are:
It is good to have the same libraries in different web-inf\lib?
    Is < module-uri > referred to in weblogic - application.xml identical <>web - uri specified in application.xml?
I do not have the loader class-structure <>at present, but is classcastexception. Wouldn't have weblogic load either libraries or weblogic application and sort preference by itself?

    Thank you for your patience.

It is good to have the same libraries in different web-inf\lib?

Yes! You can have libraries shared for web applications. You use for the same thing.

Is mentioned in weblogic - specified in application.xml identical application.xml?

    Yes! It's the same.

I don't have the right now, but is classcastexception. Wouldn't have weblogic load either libraries or weblogic application and sort the IBE preferably himself?

Please provide us with the exception and weblogic application. XML you have.

    I hope this helps.

  • ConnectionFactory JCA for WebLogic

    Dear all,

IAM starting to weblogic... I did stuff of JMS in Jboss earlier, but have doubts with weblogic, asking each to clarify... My goal is to send messages in a way that:

    (1) those who must register in the global transaction

    (2) connections, Sessions should be gathered

Above two goals, I have achieved easily in JBoss using ConnectionFactory that Jboss provided defect (java: JMSXA)... This ConnectionFactory supports XA (enlistment), pooling... so there is no worry at all...
But if you come to weblogic I read that if I use XAConnectionFactory, I get Winst XA but should I get a pool of connections and Sessions? I read in the community that weblogic supports above targets if I take the resource-Ref based ConnectionFactories... So pls suggest me a good way to achieve 2 goals in weblogic...

Thanks for the responses... So you're saying that: if I use a CF who has XA off as a resource-ref in the file ejb - jar.xml & weblogic-ejb - jar.xml I get registration but I get connection objects common & session... (am I wrong?)

    Yes, your interpretation is correct.

In docs, they mentioned that: these four characteristics we get if CF resources referenced are used for ejb... Here, as I said iam confused, how can I nature XA if I use FC which has the attribute off XA (Second point)? ......

As far as I know, all the doc to say article is that when an EJB/Servlet uses the resource reference, the container is automatically listed resources in the transaction on the thread if necessary and an application has no need to make the entry itself. The connection factory that you use determines if registration will actually happen to your application. If your CF is compatible XA, you will get auto-enrollment, while if your heart RATE is not compatible XA, you won't get automatic registration.

Hope this makes things clear for you.

    MY DOUBT IS:

To read the steps that I understood, to 19, with success, in the end, I will have an another WebLogic with a domain name and its respective EM.

    I have two servers weblogic?

    This fix it?

Two WLS to keep WebCenter portal and content, and other elements.

Because I'm not able to do with the WLS even where I UCM_server1 today?

Thanks for all suggestions and criticism.

Yes, up to 11.1.1.9.0, you will need to install a new wls House (new wls server admin) and then configure WCC ui there. User interface and COE will not work in the same field. You can have the portal and content under the same House of wls and install a new one for the user interface.

This is due to a problem with ADF and WCC libraries.

With 12 c, this dependence is not there, and you can install / configure all 3 (Portal, content and adf ui) applications on the same domain.

  • HTTP server shipped in weblogic vs. OHS

    Hello

I installed EMP. With her, weblogic is installed. I forgot to install ESS so weblogic uses its own HTTP server.

I have a few questions related to the embedded server vs OHS.

1 - HTTP Server integrated will work as well on OSH?

    2. is there a difference in speed between 2 servers?

    3. I'm having a lot of unusual problems, would it be because of embedded HTTP Server?

    Concerning

    Hi there are JanGLi,

your question is rather architectural and technical.

The use of OSH should be dictated by the topology of your environment.

1 - HTTP Server integrated will work as well on OSH?

Sure. WLS is designed and can operate as a stand-alone, i.e. without

    OSH at the front.

    2. is there a difference in speed between 2 servers?

Although I did NOT stress tests compare OHS vs WLS in the portion

Happy, I expect the OHS to serve static content, i.e. the images,.

    JS, css, etc.

I would say that OHS is required when you run the web-based

applications distributed among several DMZ where OSH should be in your

Internet zone and WLS in the application server box. You can also

WLS of SSL of unloading, for example, you can configure ESS to manage SSL

communication and let the WLS to do its job - execution of components JEE.

    3. I'm having a lot of unusual problems, could it be due to integrated

    HTTP Server?

In your case, I doubt that the problems you are having with EPM are

due to lack of OSH at the front. If you are more specific in the questions

you are facing I (or someone else in the community) might be able to

    help you.

    Hope this helps,

I guess the sign '+' in the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133 is a little tricky. I doubt that it is has added IBM JDK 7 SR3 with IV33133.

I spent some time on this installation of JDK and come to know that the 3rd third-party products that are certified to operate only on specific versions of IBM's Java for AIX can be downloaded from IBM Java ISV download page.

Here are the steps I followed to download the IBM JDK 7 SR3 + IV33133

    1. go to the IBM Java to download site software at the following ADDRESS:

    https://www14.software.IBM.com/webapp/IWM/Web/preLogin.do?lang=en_US&source=SWG-ibmjavaisv

    2. open a session using your IBM ID and password.

    3. enter MJ3D7TQGMK access key partner in IBM's Java for software page

    4. click on submit

    5. on the IBM SDK interim fixed (iFix) to the Oracle page, you will see the below JDK versions that are adapted exactly than that provided in the matrix of certification.

    • pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 (SR3 + IV33133)
      Java7_64.0.0.61.tar.gz (115 MB)
    • pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 (SR3 + IV33133)
      pap6470sr3ifx-20121213_01 - sdk.tar.Z (184 MB)

    6. install the JDK

Please can you confirm that this procedure is correct?

    Best regards

    Amandine

  • Doubts basic creation/modification of a Module

    Hello

I'm a newbie at ATG, and I'm trying to understand how ATG (I work with ATG for just one week). I have some conclusions on ATG and I just want to confirm that I have just do.

    Configurations:
Application server: WLS (Weblogic Server 11g)
    Version of the ATG: 10.0.3
    Database: Mysql
    Official database: Oracle
    IDE: Eclipse
Develop the operating system: Windows 7 (yes I know linux isn't it better... but...)
    Official OS: Oracle Linux

    Conclusions and action I got:
    1. While ATG is a module
    2. do I need to create a new module to create a new store, or I have to work more crs?
2.1. I have both, a new module and ReferenceStore under Eclipse IDE with all the taglibs and packages to work, I'm able to generate a constituent of any
2.2. with this war, I'm able to run runAssembler.bat - pack xxx.ear m XXXECommerce Module and it generates a .ear
2.3. with this .ear I'm capable of doing a deployment to WLS. (It runs without error to WLS but page index.jsp and all other open white and one occurs NullPointer interpretation tag dsp)

    Doubts:
    1 are. these conclusions correct?
    2. with my customizations in a .war do I do if erros happens running runAssembler and deployment?
3 does anyone have a tutorial on how to create a new ecommercer site or how to use a crs as reference to build a store?

You must run runAssembler as many times have you create ear files.

In general, intermediaries, and Production will be same file ear with only a difference for data source files.
These data source files, you can put in the localconfigs of specific server.

The publication, you must create a new module and add the list of modules required in his MANIFESTO. MF file.

  • What version of WebLogic is stable

    Dear all,

Have a small doubt... Please help me...

Currently, our application supports Jboss 5.1.0 and our team wants to support weblogic as well... As iam a newbie to weblogic and travelled for some info and concluded that

WebLogic 10.3 & weblogic 11.x serve especially now...

But which of it's a stable product? is it okay if we use 10.3 (I mean must v get all the features that give jboss 5.1.0?) and we want to support for java 6 as well...

Ask someone to provide valuable suggestions...

11g is the nickname of marketing for 10.3.x

I associate René viewpoint - go 10.3.5 (which is the latest as of today ' hui)

  • What is the association between JMS and JMS Module server in weblogic 10?

    Hello

I have a created a topic ConnectionFactory, queue as JMS Modules in Weblogic Server 10 using the administration console.
And I created a JMS server and targeted on the server running current (Server Admin).

But when I run the program of the sender of the queue it is not able to search the jndi I gave for the queue.

    queue = initialContext.lookup ("jndi_queue") (line);

    Exception:
    javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: unable to resolve 'jndi_queue '.

But I have configured jndi name when I create the queue JMS module in Weblogic Server 10.

How the JMS Module and Server JMS are involved.

My doubt is if I have several JMS Modules and that one created JMS server so how the JMS server identifies the queue/topic belonging to what JMS Module?

    Please advice.

    Thank you...

    Hello

Once you have configured the JMS servers:

Step 1: Target the configuration module of JMS in the cluster that will host destination, or, if not using clusters, target the module to the individual WL server that will host the JMS server.

Step 2: Set up a "subdeployment' for the module and set it to reference the exact JMS servers that will be the destination host. If you use a desitnation distributed, you can specify that multiple JMS servers, if you use a regular destination, don't specify a single destination.

Step 3: Create a resource of destination in the module, and then assign him his the subdeployment subdeployment specified in step 1 (the console called "advanced targeting"). As a best practice to avoid the "targeting default" option for the resource - always choose subdeployment targeting (Advanced).

For more information, refer to the "best practices" section of the JMS configuration guide:

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E14571_01/Web.1111/e13738/best_practice.htm#CACJCGHG

I also I highly recommend chapter JMS the book "Professional Oracle WebLogic.

    Hope this helps,

  • Tomcat Vs BEA Weblogic

    Hello

We are currently doing an installation of version 11 for planning, Essbase, financial reports, webanalysis reports etc.

This application will serve as a base of users of all about 700-800 users (or perhaps more).

I was wondering which app server, where do we go for - Tomcat or BEA Weblogic (considering that we already have licenses for BEA weblogic and no additional costs are involved)?

Are there any benefits of performance or the advantages/disadvantages for one of them for large user base?

A hybrid solution will be better (Tomcat for Essbase, BEA Weblogic for planning and so on)?

    Thanks in advance...

  • SSPI connector for weblogic

    Hello

I have to directly integrate OAM with Weblogic and in our environment, we have several Web servers through which the end user will have access to the application. So, I have some doubts to implement this:

Everyone please clarify if we can configure the SSPI connector with several webgates?

Can we install connector SSPI without the proxy (without installing webgate)? If so, please give the link that provides information for the same thing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

As far as my understanding goes, if you use the reverse proxy, then you can get SSO. But if you go to wls directly to authenticate users using the SSPI connector, then only the authentication works and not of SSO.

From my experience, I can tell you to go with proxy if you want to achieve SSO.

    I hope this helps.

  • 32-bit or 64-bit of Weblogic

We are in the process of application deployment Hyperion Planning under the Weblogic Platform. We met 'insufficient memory' problem before under 32 bit big web forms Weblogic application server. We wonder if the situation can be improved if we changed to use the 64-bit version of Weblogic 9.2 MP3 to deploy Hyperion Planning applications.

We was told that 64-bit version of Weblogic is unstable. All sharing experience of users who are currently using 64-bit Weblogic?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Who told you that it's unstable, not the same people who told you that there is a 2 GB limit on 64-bit ;)

In any case if you have the opportunity, I would go to the bottom of the 64-bit road, if you have doubts about this you have a dev box you can test.
At least this way you can see if it solves your problem with maxing out the JVM on 32-bit.

    See you soon
