Download desktop and mobile site FTP question

Hello

I have successfully downloaded my site through an FTP server and now works on the mobile version of my site. When I export my HTML files like I do anything differently when I download via Filezilla since I have the files of the mobile site and desktop files now?

Thank you much for the help!

If you have downloaded the desktop version of the site before you activate the phone/Tablet layouts in your file of Muse, then I suggest that you download all the files again to the server after the export.

In addition, if there is any reason that prevents you from using the Muse integrated FTP upload function, I advise you to download using that, since this way you'll be able to update your site gradually rather than having to download all the files every time or having to track changes and manually download only modified files.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

Vikas

  • Sharing of the available Options for desktop and mobile apps as well (in addition to web app)

I have three different reasons to use Collections for a photoshoot:

    1. Collect the photos in order to work with them
    2. Synchronize photos from Lightroom Lightroom desktop application mobile and web apps
    3. Share your photos online

I find the way the more convenient to have is a unique Collection for all these purposes, rather than having a separate Collection for each. Currently, it is not possible to select individual photos for synchronization (you must select the Collection to sync all) but you do not have the possibility to share only photos marked as peaks (and to allow the download). However, you have this option only on the Lightroom Web, not on the desktop and not on mobile. It is really heavy and confused, same as Lightroom Web cannot be used with a mobile browser, so in practice, you can only set of photos to share with the help of a desktop browser.

Why sharing Options is not available on Desktop and Mobile with Lightroom Lightroom (or at least with a mobile browser)?

With the help of Web of Lightroom is a pain in itself that there is no direct way to go to a specific Collection - you will need to navigate to lightroom.adobe.com and navigate through all the Collections to find the one you're looking for, even if it would be the last Collection you made or made changes to.

Just right click the collection in the Panel Collections and you can go directly to the web Lr either public or private view.

  • How to make a Web site for desktop and mobile

I have just one question, for example, washingtonpost.com.  I know in CSS that you used to be able to put this "/ media" and "/ screen" command at the top and when the page loads, it detects the device and send you mobile or desktop.

I went to WaPo and I can't seem to find anything.  So using WaPo, this is always how it is done?  I just need to test a web base page in DW4 and then test how it looks on the desktop, and then my Galaxy Note II, so I know I'm moving along properly before expanding the.

All tips, advice and assistance are appreciated.

    Thank you.

Media = "screen" or media = "print" is part of a css link in the head of a page and enabled a series of rules for printing and another series of screens.

It was the forerunner of the "Media Queries" which is what you are looking for.

Here is a good starting point for queries from the media...

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Dreamweaver/articles/introducing-media-queries.html

Basically, you make a site in html, then 2 style sheets that control the site according to the device of the Viewer. The width in pixels of the peripheral or the browser window allows you to determine what style sheet is used. When they are on your desktop, stylesheet1 is used, when they move on to something more small, stylesheet2 comes into play.

The basics are quite simple, make the most it takes practice.

When you build your tablet or phone version Muse adds for you device detection code. You don't have to do something more.

Is it possible to create a sensitive project and disable the Tablet and mobile views? The client doesn't have the budget or time for me to set all three points of view for all slides, so they want to launch a single view for now, but have the opportunity to come back at a later date and twist the other two views themselves.

    Hello

Unfortunately there is no way I know to 'disable' those points of view. But what you could do is simply to focus on the main view you want, and then to points of view which are not, that you can insert a legend text or form of Smarty Pants with a text that informs the user for better viewing, please use this device,

  • Redirect to desktop and Mobile and questions of the home page, please let know us

    Hi all

I'm having some problems with the mobile version of a Web page, and I'm unable to test it without using emulators mobile online that I don't have an iThing or a mobile phone with net access myself.

It comes to the Web page , I'm working on.

    Question 1.

Essentially in Muse I built a desktop versions and a cell phone; It downloads via FTP to Muse on 'pocketbooknutrition.com/public_html', and indeed there is a folder "/ public_html/phone" now. Grabbing my web address with "... / phone" or "... / phone/index.html" will load it properly on my desktop, so the mobile version is here, but none of the emulators online mobile redirect on the main page. What I read Muse must generate the redirect itself, coding and under file > properties of the Site, the option to redirect office is indeed turned on. But I can't work on why it won't.

I tried to work around the problem, that I could not diagnose, and I found the following code which needs to redirect when added to the header of the main page, but that doesn't work either.

    < script language = javascript >

    <!--

    If ((navigator.userAgent.match(/iPhone/i)). (navigator.userAgent.match(/iPod/i))) {

    location.replace ("http://pocketbooknutrition.com/phone");

    }

    ->

    < /script >

So can someone explain how to make so that it can redirect it please?

    Question 2.

The friend I am Web page for fixing wants him to be able to be added to the homescreen on an iThing too, which she has, but its test reports are often truncated because of the distraction; I like that this page will add an icon I downloaded for it when the option is selected, but she says that the icon does not work as a shortcut... I think so?  But I don't see a way to set up, all the details online are for the addition of the icon only. And I have absolutely no way to test the emulators online do not have this feature.  How I would approach this by Muse please?

    Question 3.

She wants it to start in the alignment of the landscape; but from what I see, Muse guess vertically and is expected to design it this way and let the scaling to the individual phone. I have no prior experience today design for phones, therefore this standard web design for smaller screens, a limitation of the Muse, or I can force it to start in landscape mode?

    Thank you!

I suggest you make contact with your webhost about the files does not work as expected, I checked on my end and the url link to the files you mentioned shows not the script or style files.

    Thank you

    Hello Lindas-the-one,

In the In-Browser editing page, you get an option to switch between phone and setting up office, as shown in the screenshot below.

I would like a place to work from and synchronize with my laptops and desktop.   It was a challenge that I travel a lot.  There are 2 of us who would use a calendar and tasks, maybe 3.   We want to use Outlook and share contacts and calendar as well.  We do not use Microsoft Windows Live Hotmail or Microsoft Office Live Mail accounts.  Please let know us if your service is suitable for it and what the costs are.  We are looking for the most cost-effective method and checking in MS Exchange server, the costs were astronomical.

  • Management of Desktop and Mobile versions

I have a site I created in Muse. It contains several projects from the edge, and because of the way that Muse publishes, I was forced to get good quality versions of the tablet of a few pages.

So I 14 pages, but only 3 must be specific for a tablet. All others make fine as versions of office on tablets, and so I would like to avoid having to create a Tablet over a 11-page version.

I know right on how Muse implements locking and detection device (cookies I think), but I know that they give no real option to refine.

The problem I have is this:

Let's say that the Page A and B are not tablet versions but Page C and D are versions of Tablet. If a user clicks on the Page, they are correctly sent to the version of the tablet. Then let's say I click on A Page, which brings me to the desktop page because there is no version of the tablet. (here, I think it's locked). Then, if you were to click on Page C or D next, you will be sent to the desktop versions of those even though I have tablet versions available.

How to manage this locking device? I want to get to the page just check every time whether it is a Tablet instead of Muse setting a cookie. Can anyone help with this? I don't mind enter the code to make adjustments, as I doubt you can fix inside the Muse.

    Thank you!

Thanks for the reply of Brad, but it looks like I came up with a workaround.

    Here's what I did:

Menu links on the pages of tablet version are linked with a GET appended to the address, ex, www.somesite.com/page1.html?devicelock=desktop

Enter each of the 3 tablet pages version I had, I simply deleted the ? devicelock = desktop from the link ref h for each of them. If you have an editor like Dreamweaver, search and replace is big and fast. Now each page is properly routed to the Office if there is no version of the Tablet and Tablet if there is a version of the tablet. Have not had a problem yet in test.

  • Muse of Adobe desktop and mobile

When I do a web site of Adobe Muse and make changes with "change in the browser" automatically, these changes are also in the mobile version?

Sure. You change the site as such on the server, not the local data.

  • Desktop and mobile development

    Hello

I developed an application for computer. (desktop interface) but I would like to add a mobile interface, manually re-create the pages or can I copy my old pages and change a setting to make the mobile interface?

    Thank you.

    Thomas

If you want to add pages using the mobile interface of JQuery in the same application, then click "Edit Application Properties"-> go to "User Interfaces" tab-> go to the section of User Interface-> click on the button 'Add User Interface'-> choose 'jQuery Mobile Smartphone' as Type-> select theme and then create. After that copy the page in this way, select 'A new Page as a copy' button create and select the option 'Page in this application' and choose "jQuery Mobile Smartphone" like user interface.

If you want to create the new mobile app, and then create an application that uses the mobile interface of JQuery. Since this application change the homepage and select 'New Page as a copy' button to create and select the option 'Page in another application' and copy the page to your client application. Choose models with caution for mobile applications.

Note: you cannot copy the page that uses IR mobile application report.

Also, you can find packaged (example of Application of database) applications in the APEX that uses the two Office, jQuery Mobile Smartphone user interfaces. so, to install the bundled applications in your workspace and check.

I think it may be useful for you...
