• VMWare Workstation - clone an image but not the OS license?

  I have Windows 7 and 2008 and images Linux VMWare Workstation fully licensed, with additional products installed and configured with data for a demonstration complex.  I can't give a partner (that is outside my company) because I don't have a license for redistribution of OS, so I was wondering if it is possible to make a sort of clone of my image into an image VMWare the BP prepared as fully licensed, without crushing for example the Windows license info , so not a clone of bit for bit full.  For Linux, I think I could make rsync between two images, but how can I do this on Windows with its registry etc. ?

• Code works on an image, but not the other

  I have 2 images in my film, 2 buttons and a video.  On the first image, there is code button #1.  On the second picture, I code button #2, but I also want to appear on the first image. The problem is that when I put the code for the second button on the first image, the video will not play.  If I can have it only on the second image.  I can't understand why the code that works when its framework on 2, then will not work on frame 1.  When I put the code on frame 1, it breaks the functionality and the video will not play.

  This is the code on frame 2, for the key #2 (btn_skip): this code works if I put it on the frame 2, but breaks the video if I put it on frame 1. I need to have this code on frame 1 as well.

  If it were true you wouldn't have a double function error.  Alternatively, the error is not related to what I proposed.

  in any case, fix it if you don't have two names of the same functions.

• Working at the Player VM image but not the vSphere

  Hi all

  I downloaded the Cloudera Quickstart 5.7 VM image and it works well on VM Player but does not work through vSphere.  I have downloaded all the files for the data store, right-click on the file in VMX to save it but when I turn on the virtual machine it says that it cannot find the VMDK file.  I checked the paths and everything seems fine for me.  I also removed the hard drive from the config and added it but who doesn't either.  I have included a picture of the error message I get from hovering over the error in the Web Client vSphere.

  

  I use vSphere essentially 6.0.  The VMDK is divided into 17 files with "s001' thru 's017" at the end of the file name, and there is a file name which is without the suffix.  When I download the last of 18 files all files "sXXX" disappear it is a single VMDK showing - I guess that vSphere worked it's a disc more of 17 files divided.

  I have another VM on the host/server underlying data store is fine.

  After a lot of searching on Google and a little for being smart, I worked on how to get this race.  Is there something on rare records, who dislikes the host EXSi in accordance with article (https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2045616).  I had to do something slightly different from the explanation to the problem; instead of cloning of disk space (files *.s001), I had to clone the main VMDK file.  This has created a VMDK single flat file, allowing the virtual machine run.  As a quick guide to fix this problem:

  • Open a command shell to the ESXi host
  • The virtual machine directory
  • Take a copy of the VMDK files (just in case!)
    • mkdir orig
    • CP * orig vmdk
  • clone the disks to a new flat VMDK file
    • vmkfstools-i
      thin d | thick
  • Remove the old VMDK files
  • Remove the original virtual machine hard disk
  • Add a new hard drive for the virtual computer by using the new VMDK file

  Hope this helps someone else.

  Yes, if you are framing mounting options there will be a resize.

  There is one thing that seems pretty cool. You can drag and drop the symbol FX from the effects to the image Panel, and if the FX style is applied to the image she also gets appied to the graph in the framework you drag and drop to. That could speed things up if you want to do in InDesign.

  AND you can do it too with Object Styles - if you drag and drop on executives.

  But here's the thing - a framework for the drop shadow for each image is probably unlikely in InDesign, if you have smaller pictures so the shadow effect is larger, and becomes the largest image over the shadow effect.

  In order to have a universal style for all Drop Shadows is unlikely to work - if you catch my drift? Unless all products are also of size or of a similar size?

  The other thing is that InDesign sorta make sense. It has always been a framework for space and an Image or a text is placed in a placeholder. The frame and the Image/text are therefore two separate components.

  It's just a pity there's no "graphics of find/replace' or a 'Panel of graphic Style.

  By default, the painting opens when you edit a photo.

  To open a file with Photoshop:

  a. right click on the image file

  b. select open with

  c. and choose Photoshop from the list.

  d. who should open the file in Photoshop.

• Down on the Image, but not on the mouse scroll bar event?

  Hi all

  I use an event "Mouse Down" on an image to save the coordinates X and Y of the click and increment a counter.  My problem is that I'm looking at an image with a scroll bar that I want to use to set what part of the image is visible.  When I click on the scroll bar, I set off the mouse event down and increments the counter, which I won't do.

  Is there a way to implement a mouse event to the bottom so that it will ignore clicks on the image scroll bars?  If not, can you think of another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

  Some quick ideas:

  The scroll bars will be a fixed height or width of the right or at the bottom of the indicator. In the mouse to the bottom of the event handler, if the click happens to a set of coordinates that are in a region of scroll bar, you know, do not increment the counter.

  OR

  Maybe you can overlay a transparent image control such that it covers the image but not the scroll bars, and find clicks on this second control.

  And here's a more complete step by step (that you already know, but I'll give the full game!):

  1. Sign in to your account on https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf.
  2. Click on PDF files select export.
  3. Click on choose the files on my computer.
  4. Select one or more files and click on choose (you can select multiple files by pressing the Shift or Ctrl key when you click on the file).
  5. To convert to the: menu popup, select the output format you want (in this case, Microsoft Word).
  6. Let the language of the local menu Document configured to English (unless the PDF is in a foreign language).
  7. Click Export to Word. (The name of this button will vary depending on what format you selected in step 5)
  8. Once the file is converted, it will appear at the bottom of the window, listed under exported files.
  9. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail image of the file, and then click the icon that appears on the left side of the thumbnail to download the file in your downloads folder. (You can also click on the files tab in the upper part of the window to see a complete list of all converted files).
  10. Once you have downloaded the file, you can open it up in Word for editing.

  Firefox is a web browser, not a homepage.

  Looks like you have the old www.google.com/firefox/ start page to be the default home page in Firefox before Firefox 4.0 sometime. It is not maintained by Google more so either ignore the message or while in Firefox, go to tools-> Options-> general-> home page section and change your home page.

  You would need to expand the trace, and then remove the 'bounding box white' after tracing.

  hiughkhk, I assume you are using windows 7 or newer.

  Navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 - location of the folder in your computer and delete the file named "sniffer" and try to launch the Photoshop CC 2014.

  If you are still having the same problem, please provide newspapers in the event viewer for Photoshop.
