I get a single file not 3. What's wrong?

AGM

HTTP does not work like that.  You can only download one file at a time.

The way you get around this restriction is:

  • Collect all the files (for example in a temporary table)
  • create a ZIP file
  • Download the ZIP file.

    Hi Bernice,

Using Adobe Reader you will not be able to change the font size.

To change the font size, you must have Acrobat installed on your computer free trial download Adobe Acrobat | Acrobat Pro DC.

Not the answer you want, but you could set up your quick customer with an ftp upload which would replace the existing pdf. I use Transmit and it would allow your customer to simply drag and drop on a folder.

How can I transfer the PDF files that I have downloaded on my iPhone to my iBook (Collection of PDF files)?

    Hey there, Yank7!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I understand from the information provided, you have PDFs in iBooks on your iPhone that you want to transfer to your MacBook Pro. Certainly, I know how it is to have access to all your files on multiple devices and am happy to help you!

  • Error when downloading files with Firefox 33

    Hello
in our society, we all use firefox (various versions) use our CRM (SugarCRM).
Given that some of the PC (with windows 7) update to Firefox version 33 (64-bit) we started having problem downloading PDF:

"C:\Users\[user]\AppData\Local\Temp\[tempfilename].part could not saved, because the file source could not be read."

We tried to go down to Firefox 32 and everything seems to work very well.
I already tried to delete the profile, reinstall Firefox, clear the cache, delete the profile folder, but nothing helped.

May this be a bug in Firefox 33?
    Thank you

Along the lines of the last post, what happens if you stop to tell the web server that you accept compressed files of Firefox? Here's how:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste enco and pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference network.http.accept - encoding and

    (A) if it has the default value (the line is not in bold), delete all the text, and then click OK.

    (B) if it has a custom value, copy the current value in a safe place for later use possible, then delete all the text and click OK.

When you visit the site again, Firefox should omit the usual headers, saying he accepted gzip/deflate-encoded responses. Any difference?

  • Download PDF - why not intuitive?

Hello! New Firefox user here, since I'm too bored with IE crashing. So, I often download PDFs from the Web. With IE, you get a pop-up window asking you to choose a location to save the download. I like that. But with Firefox, all I can do is to download on some 'library' that I can't find on my computer or retrieve items from. My two questions:

    1. where is the library? On my computer - where?

    2. I don't want articles on a flash drive, in a library. How can I specify to Firefox to save the article on my flash drive or an office, rather than the library?

    Thank you!

    Thank you guys so much!

  • Downloaded PDF file is not readable

For more than a site, I downloaded PDF files and saved on my computer. I am running the latest version of Firefox under Win 7 32 bit. When I go to open the file with the latest version of Adobe Reader 9 or Foxit, I get an error message indicating that the file is not in a recognized format or is corrupted. (Although the content of the messages are different, it is the substance). Download the same file in IE produces files that can be read by a PDF reader.

I don't mean to play the file in Firefox, just download it, then open it. None of the threads that I've explored seems to solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated as I really don't want to use IE anymore.

    Thank you!!

A quick update on my problem. After I posted this question, I remembered seeing a post somewhere that mentioned a performance bug that occurs when the downloaded file is being saved to a folder on a network computer, not the computer that's been downloaded. That's what I do. So, to test it, I changed the location where FireFox stores files downloaded from the network location mapped to a folder on the computer that I use to do the download. Guess what? The downloaded files are OK and not considered "corrupt". I can't find the post that said that there is a problem with FF transfer the file to the computer on the network without giving full NTFS file properties, but this seems to be the issue. So, I guess I just solved my problem. Go figure.

    Hi, good evening:

I use a Microsoft XP and HP Envy 4500 printer:

I'm trying since this morning to print a PDF with no. margin in adobe reader. When I select 'Print' (inside Adobe Reader) in the printer option, I selected the printer HP Evny 4500, and inside its options, I chose printi without margins. (picture 1 of seee)

But I also need to change the default margin software adobe reader in order to remove the margin, but I can not change, software adobe reader have to a margin default that I can't "delete" (see picture 2)

P.D.: I use adobe reader version 11, where there is no button "borderless printing.

    Help me please...

    Hey @Helen23,

Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I see that you encounter some problems with the removal of the margins when printing a PDF file on your PC Windows XP of Adobe Reader your urge to 4500. I can help you with that.

To give us an idea of what the issue may be what we will do is to create a document in Word Pad and see if we can remove the margins before printing. If you can print without margins to Win Pad, then it means that Adobe Reader is something to print on your computer settings. If this is the case then I uninstall all software from 4500 desire on your computer, uninstall Adobe Reader and then reinstall Adobe Reader software and our drivers. You can download our drivers by clicking on this link.

If you are unable to change the margin settings in Adobe then then I would contact Adobe for support.

I hope that helps you print your PDF documents and I hope you have a great weekend!

If this resolve that your problem then please let others know by clicking on accept as Solution on my post.

  • Help me buy a new all-in-one which will scan to pdf with preview multipage

I need a new all-in-one, like the OfficeJet HP 6700 Premium e-all-in-one printer, which I watched in a store.  The box was not clear about the capabilities.

What I do with old HP all-in-one on an old XP, (11-12 years) old machine is scanning documents to preview multipage PDF, so I can adjust the margins and other things, and if I did not have many PDF files for a multi-page document.  I do this a LOT, I need, it is not a such PITB.    I have not found a way to do this with the printers I have, my new computer so I have to go do it on a slow XP machine in another room.  I can only print at the old printer to my new computer.

I'm used to using the HP, but those I have is old, my old XP machine (6 years) so it is more reliable and my new computer Windows 7 Professional 64 - bit, and Windows 7 drivers for my old all-in-one are not full function, if they still exist, plus we have several computers and tablets on our network now.   None of the older all-in-one I will do what I need for my new computer, if they'll even install (you look, Dell).

What I need to know, it's done with Windows 7 on HP OfficeJet 6700 Premium e-all-in-one printer?  (Scan multipage PDF with the HP software preview.) The info on the box was not clear.  If not, is there a model preferably wireless all-in-one that will work for me?  I can plug it into a USB port on my new computer, there are several USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.  I would like to be able to print wireless from other devices, but this isn't a deal breaker.  I don't want to have to download a few fragmentary shareware or buy a high price to accomplish what I was able to do with the software before HP, on old all-in-one.

    That's what I needed.  Why hell isn't in the ^ & *) & ^ % manual?

  • Print PDFs with Adobe Reader error

Sometimes when I try to print a PDF with Adobe Reader, it will print the first two pages OK, then the rest will be ruined. This may be the cause for this?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Probably a printer driver problem.  Try to update the printer driver to the latest version from the manufacturers Web site and check the printer cable is properly connected and is directly to the printer.

Reinstall the latest version of Acrobat (you must download it, install it, then check the updates, thanks to Adobe being so weird not giving the latest patches for download), and then try again. If you still experience the problem, you can try to PDF trouble Toolbox https://www.fixtoolbox.com/pdffix.html

When you send a PDF with Adobe send & Track, it cannot be considered an iPhone. When customers try to access the pdf file by clicking on the link in the email, they get an empty browser window.

Noted in the FAQ to send & track a person receaving a pdf link should be able to preview and download the pdf of the computer, tablet or smartphone, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
