Download recovery disk creater software?

Hi guys

I have a satellite phone P850 138 and I had a virus, so I desided to pick up my laptop using the disks that I created when I brought my laptop.

When he arrived to disk 3, he could not say that it could not find 10802XSP3. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT.

Cause at this point, I died in water as his wiped the disk hard but could not deliver the data!

I borrowed a set of discs from a PC older toshiba laptop, so I can at least get windows 7 installed and downloaded the drivers for my work laptop but I'd like to get my laptop recovered its own version of windows using a!

OFC the installed version does not so much that what a laptop 2 recovery disk and there need 6 disks (Yes, the recovery partition is still there and I can see the files .swm etc...)

I tried holding 0 (zero) key start upward and it does not work.

did I download the creater software so I can create another set of discs?

Thanks for any help

Recovery disks can be created if the laptop has only factory settings. You cannot install the clean version of Windows and then create the recovery disk.

If you have original disks for your model of laptop you must order original discs from Toshiba.
You can order it on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    Hello

I installed Windows 7 Home premium 32 bit on my * Satellite A350-12j *. I installed the driver too and everything works well, but I can't find a link to download the recovery disc creator software, to create backup DVDs. Any official link to the software?

    Thanks, Marco.

I'm afraid that you have misunderstood something.

This tool is designed to work with the factory only settings and you can use it to create Toshiba recovery facilities only disk.
It is not a kind of backup software. It is designed only for purposes of Toshiba.

I just hope that you have created the Vista recovery disk before installing Win7.

  • Satellite L505D-S5965 and recovery disk Creater

I did a clean install of windows 7 when I updated and no longer have the Toshiba recovery disc creator.
I can always start disk recovery tool HARD I did not delete this partition when I upgraded. I would like to be able to create a recovery for my system disk in case something happened to my hard drive.

Where can I download it Toshiba Recovery disk creator tool? Is there another way for me to get a recovery disk?

    Stand by.
I think with your answers you're going in the wrong direction.
Good question, but you asked very Timox offered no exact answer.

Please do not mix two very important but completely different things:
    # New laptops computers are delivered without recovery DVD and the DVD of the facilities must be created by the owner of the laptop. For this application, Toshiba has installed small tool called 'Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator'. This tool can be used for creating discs of facilities only.
    # I don't know not what you understand under HARD drive recovery tool but the fact is that recovery image is recorded on the second partition and can be used for the installation of HARD drive recovery. This can be done if you plant only settings. After the clean operating system installation, you probably won't be able to start the installation of the HARD disk even if the recovery files are always saved on the second partition.

As I see you have American portable model. I don't know exactly how it works there but the principle must be the same as here in Europe.

At startup, you must press F8 or zero to enter advanced startup options. There you should find option repair my computer and next to this option, you enter the with recovery option Toshiba system recovery options.
When you install the clean operating system, this option will be gone. I describe how it works now on the European models, but I think we model it should be similar.

    Once again the important questions:
Have you ever tried to start installation of HARD drive recovery (F8 or 0 at startup)?
Can you he start now after installing Win7? If this isn't the case, you have a problem. I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs when you got your laptop.

  • Recovery disks created has not... This only hurts?

I had created the recovery discs shortly after obtaining the T61 - 6459CTO w / Vista.  He created 1 CD to be marked START Recovery and 2 DVD, the labeled product recovery 1 & 2.  Sequence of the BIOS has been changed to start from the CD.

Inserted and booted from the CD of early recovery.  He then asked if I had a recovery of the operating system disk... I said YES, but none of the 3 discs have been recognized as valid after insertion, so I pressed number he asked for product recovery disc 1 and disc 2 I did.  He is then asked for an extra recovery disk.  I have one of these and press No..    A message began to countdown... came down to 1 second and hung machine.  Finally, I had to hold the power button for an extended period to power it down.

  • Confused with recovery disks created

I had to place the 2 as shown in the manual recovery discs and I had to use this morning, but I had to only use 1 so why create 2 and you have to use the 2nd one at all.

I thought that the computer would be back to 64 bits as pre-installed, but when I checked it was only 32 bits.

You can use the second if requested.
I don't know what model of laptop you have, but if it was offered with 32 and 64 bit OS I guess 2 creating recovery discs have been created for both versions.

When you start the procedure of recovery with disc1 is there possibility to choose between 32 and 64-bit OS?

Made some changes to the operating system as the deletion of partitions or install own OS?
    YES.

The "HDDRecovery" folder available on the second partition?
    YES.

    Hello

In your case there is nothing you can do. The recovery DVDs can be created only if the laptop is factory settings. Unfortunately, you have removed original preinstalled Vista and now there is no way, you can create recovery media.

Sorry, but there is only one thing to do now to order a new copy. You can do so under the https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx.

I really wonder that you ignored the reminder to create recovery DVDs.

    Hello:

See if, by your own plain W8.1 installation media, you can reinstall Windows 8.1.

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows8

The only downside is the OEM product key in the BIOS.

However, there are workarounds like the one shown below to find out how to get the product key in the BIOS to work on your new installation...

Your recovery disks will reinstall your operating system, all the drivers and all the software that originally came with your laptop.  They will also recreate the Partition Recovery D: on the new drive.

  • Satellite L550D-13V - how to recover without recovery disks?

    Hello

I had a big problem. Win 7 Home Premium 64 BIT crashed on my satellite L550D-13V.

I tried to fix it, but it does not work. So I decided to recover via HARD disk utility.
Everything seems to be okay, but ultimately the tool said that errors have occurred. I tried to get it back again, but the process aborted with blue screen "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA" this time.

After reboot system told me that no bootmgr is available. I tried to start using the recovery disk, but it also seems to be defective because the system cannot boot from the disks.

And there is my problem. I cannot start / retrieve now. Volume D seems to be OK - the HARD disk utility files are still available, but I can't create a new recovery disks and it is not possible to start in disk utility.

    You have any ideas?

Thanks in advance and best regards
    Danny

    Hello

    The story is strange
I m wondering why you are not able to boot from the recovery disc?
Have you used the recovery disk created in the past or have you tried this drive for the first time?

However, with regard to the error message: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
I googled for that and it sounds like it could be linked to the fault memory.
Perhaps one of the failures modules.

Of course, this is just a personal opinion

If a HARD drive folder is available on your HARD drive, then there is a small chance of getting the recovery of HARD drive to work. Here's an interesting thread:

  • Recovery disk restore partitions as factory settings?

My laptop is about 2 to 3 years of age and has 3 partitions, C, D and E as factory put in place.
I found that the system (C) partition is now almost full and cannot be extended because the D drive is in the way to rehabilitate the part of drive E.

Does anyone know if the hot spare will restore the partitions in the form of factory settings or y at - it an option to change the score put in place during installation?

    Hey Buddy

Yes. As far as I know the Toshiba Recovery disk format the whole HARD drive and retrieves the laptop back to factory settings.
This means that the whole HARD disk would have first formatted and all partitions would be deleted. Then the recovery disk creates the partitions again and installs the operating system and other things like tools and drivers.

    Hi @anupom,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

If I understand your messages that you encounter a problem with your HP Pavilion Notebook of 15 and problems related to lack of CD recovery.  Here is something that might help.

Are there problems with your yellow exclamation Device Manager showing in it?

Did you change hardware on the laptop?

Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all non-essential devices because they can cause problems.

Please get back to me how that happens.

  • Question about the use of recovery disks Vista Bus on T500 with XP Pro downgraded

I searched to see if this has been addressed already and I don't see anything about it. I also looked through the Lenovo support site and could not find any documentation with specific information, that I'm looking. So, if all goes well, the people here will have an idea.

I have a T500 which was ordered with retired on WinXP Pro. It also came with a set of Vista Business (four discs) recovery disks. I plan to get my machine with Vista business records and down XP Pro, but I had a few questions.

    1. as it currently stands, I guess that the R & R partition that is on the HARD drive at this time restoring a WinXP Pro system if I start and get back with her. Is this correct?

    2. If I boot from the recovery disc Vista Business and use it for the recovery of the system, it creates a new partition 'Factory' R & R which would incorporate a Vista Business install?

I may be wrong on my assumptions and even after the start of the R & R partition, it is really the recovery disks that I choose to use that would dictate if I found myself with a XP or Vista Bus. System.

For what it's worth, I created a set of recovery disc R & R for the installation of WinXP Pro in case I need to revert to this version.

I hope that my question is logical and that someone out there has an answer for me.

    Thanks in advance!

    jskang, welcome to the forum,

    Yes on both counts.

Removal of all the hard drive recovery disks, create the service partition and then the system installs from the recovery with the flavor of windows partition, so that the discs are.

It was a good idea to create the XP discs.
