Download Shockwave Flash problem

I use a very slow remote internet connection.  Which takes more than a few minutes to download takes me all day.  I run a Windows XP Pro SP3 operating system and a browser Firefox 35.0.1.  My main issue is with your Downloader/Installer, I can't maintain a download link from Adobe long enough to download a version of Shockwave Flash.  Recently updated to Firefox and the plugin Shockwave Flash should now be updated but it says that the update has been blocked so I went to Adobe for trying to get the downloaded update.  It seems that I have to use the Downloader or the Adobe installer instead of the one, I usually use (DownloadThemAll). How can I get the update?

Please use the Offline Installer:

  • Try to update Shockwave Flash; It downloads, but when I click on install; the connection fails? WHY not the connection?

Update of Adobe Reader, Shockwave Flash and Java used to be so easy... until a year ago. Now, I hate when I run the Plugin Firefox check, only to see the UPDATE. I seem to be able to download ("initialization") the app, but when I go to INSTALL (I hope I have the right words), it indicates that the CONNECTION FAILED. Try again. THE CONNECTION HAS FAILED. CLICK FINISH TO RESTART THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. It became a cycle without end I contacted my internet provider (and going through their process of reboot) I'm connected to the Internet. I disabled my anti-virus prgm and my firewall; nothing seems to help. Last time I could actually INSTALL one of the programs/applications above, I did it with the help of ' solving problems when you use Firefox "... and who let me download,... but I can't find a selection like this now... it's why I write for Firefox/Mozilla.
I have been using Firefox for about 5-6 years now, and I love it! Except for these issues. I'm not a dummie, but not a geek either... I just need help.

You have a version 17 for what is very recent and are perhaps the most recent and up to date. The latest version is currently 17.0 v. 0.188

There may be some small problem with the auditor to update Firefox rather than with your updates.

  • I have problems to download Adobe Flash 18, anyone who has a problem?

I have a problem downloading Adobe Flash 18. I get a little window that says "Installation will begin shortly." About 5 minutes later, I get an error message that says: "Error initializing Application." And when I click on the button finish down to the right, it takes me just back to Adobe to download again. Does anyone have a problem with that?

Dude, you're a few days too late. It's working now. It's Norton who was originally the majority of headaches including not to be able to get on the internet after my Adobe Flash 18 work. Now I have a problem and it is an add on I installed. AdBlock more. This add-on on Firefox crashing on Facebook sites and Publisher Clearing House, mainly because these two sites are littered ads is originally.

  • FireFox | Error / vulnerable. Shockwave Flash 9.0.45.0 and problem Java Deployment Toolkit!

Intro | Hello I am new to this support Web site for fire fox, never thought I already needed to sign up because most of the time things are going well and if I run into a problem, I can take care of it most of the time by myself.

If I need a hand I ask some co-working/colleagues/friends or family. But this situation has stunned me. I can't understand what is the problem, at least not exactly.

Problem | This only happened for a few days and I kinda ignored initially because I was a little busier than usual because of the holidays.

However I finally had the time to check these errors and I can usually figure things out myself and make things happen in a day, but my mind is hazy right now begin to understand what is happening here.

Now, according to my research, I have two 2 vulnerable plugins. The Java and Adobe flash. Two of them appear as red alerts.

    • Shockwave Flash 9.0 r45
    • Deploy Script NPRuntime plugin Library for Java (TM)

^ These are the culprits who have caused me problems with my recent adobe flash related tasks crashing or getting strange errors.

The thing I find strange about this is that I also have the latest version and updated to adobe flash installed next to this outdated relic of a forger.

  • Why do I always have a problem with shockwave flash?

I am running windows 7 on a dell computer and when I go to a website such as YouTube or espn.com, I get a message "Shockwave flash may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. What actually happens on other browsers as well. I reinstalled, uninstalled and tried older versions. Nothing seems to work, any suggestions?

    Hello

It turns out that the problem was caused by another software that was running an XP version rather than a version of windows 7.

    Crisis averted.

  • My Shockwave Flash for Firefox (and IE) plugin causes computer/browser crash & restart, but only for the worms. 10.2 +. 10.1 & below, no problem. Any difficulty?

I had this persistent problem of Shockwave Flash crash my system and causing an automatic my PC restart, as soon as I try to play flash videos (any browser, in fact). However, as long as I keep my flash to version 10.1 and not update it, it works fine. The problem is how long can I keep it like that until some future tweak of the same general Web site if flash sites that prevent work?

I want to know if there is a fix so that I can install future versions of the Shockwave Flash plugin and actually make it work so I don't have to use such an archaic version of the Flash more (gag, even if I say this, I again Flash, it's so awkward in any version, I wish websites would turn to some other standard videos already).

If anyone has an answer, please let me know. (My computer works on Windows XP with Firefox 12, either said by the way. Oh and I would love it if there was a way to get Firefox to work on the iPad, Safari is such a crude, childish browser, it has almost no Add-ons useful or features custom at all.)

I just noticed that, in the subject line of your message, you specify the ActiveX of Flash for IE version causes the same problem. I wonder if there could be a problem with your graphics card driver software. Have you checked the firmware updates?

    • I don't have any version of Adobe Flash Player currently installed on my computer.

When I try to download the flash player, the file goes to my downloads.  When I click on download, it will open the file using MatLab.  What can I do to solve this problem, then the file will go to the downloader?

I solved the problem by using Google Chrome to download the file instead of Safari.

  • Where can I find download of Shockwave Flash

I need to install shockwave flash player for the operating system Windows 7, 64-bit, with what I believe the instructions from Adobe's Internet Explorer 11, 32-bit. I get the download link for Shockwave Flash in different ways. But every time I click to download, I get redirected to the help page for the installation of Shockwave Flash in different versions and types of browsers. I couldn't even find Shockwave Flash listed in the forums, I was charged several times. How can I find the page with the download of the SWF player without being redirected to the help page?

  • Impossible to update Shockwave Flash plugin

I'm only updating Shockwave Flash because the plugin page says to do so; Otherwise, I have no problems. The sequence of update I'm having problems is different from those described by others:
    (1) check the updates of the plugin: Shockwave Flash 11.1 r102 was highlighted as 'Vulnerable' with red UPDATE NOW.
    (2) click on update now and was prompted to download Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.62 (no Shockwave Flash); Downloaded ran .exe install file. Closed Firefox installation, such as requested and installation is complete.
    (3) Firefox open; Active plugins and now reviews of saw that version of Flash Player is outdated and people with disabilities.
    (4) as test, played a video of youtube; Click command prompt at the top of the screen for "plugin" missing Run auto update, called for the closure of Firefox and completed the installation.
    (4) Firefox open; Checked plugins and once again saw that Shockwave Flash needed UPDATE NOW (as described in #1 above). Adobe Flash Player is not listed anywhere in the plugin list.
So now that I'm back to where I was before, I'm wondering if I'm really vulnerable because of this version of Shockwave Flash.

    Of course, some confusion.

Pablo said: 'downloaded from your link (64-bit version). »

To clarify: to determine which version is installed in Firefox, use Firefox only when you go to the Plugin Check page or the Adobe page "about". I've known a few cases in which the computer must be restarted after the installation of the new version of Flash for this new version to be recognized.

If the information immediately preceding in this answer does not work for you, you may uninstall Flash completely from your system and start with the installation of Flash again. Note, in the article below, there are 2 programs uninstall, one for 32-bit and one for 64 - bit; Download and run at the same time. Then, follow the instructions in my original answer above to reinstall and test Flash.

Sorry that you have problems with the installation of Flash, but many users on 64 - bit systems posed problems with the new installer 32 bit/64 bit combined from Adobe.

  • Shockwave flash crashes firefox 4

Shockwave flash causes firefox 4 crashes. Sometimes they use the most recent or the previous version of flash. remove the flash has solved the problem but remove the flash isn't a solution. This happens on a computer with Windows 7. However on another computer with XP, this does not happen.

    1. Download a copy of Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and save it to your desktop.
    2. Then download Flash uninstaller
    3. Close Firefox via file | Output
    4. Run the uninstall program to remove the Firefox Flash. It will also remove IE.
    5. Reset
    6. Run the Flash Installer that you downloaded to your desktop (do not start Firefox). This will install on Firefox only.
    7. Open IE, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and choose run when you see the prompt.
    8. Test the installation in Firefox and IE by visiting: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
