  Hi Richard,

  Try to perform the following steps.

  1. Close the creative application Cloud Desktop and Lightroom.
  2. Navigate to the OOBE folder.
     Windows: [system drive]: \Users\ [user name] \AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
     Mac OS: /Users/ [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
  3. Delete the file opm.db.
  4. Launch of Lightroom.

  most of the trials will expire just early if there are significant changes to computer (other than the reformatting/replacement of a hard drive).

Adobe Installers"and then double click on the application you want to remove.  The problem is that "Lioghtroom" is not listed in this folder, so I have no way to delete the app.  Can you help me please?  I have a working version of lightroom to work in 7 hours for now.  Thank you

  I solved my problem. I basically uninstalled creative cloud and re installed.

  First although I went in my finder-applications-dragged the old version of tria Lightroom in the trash and empty.

  I then tried a cleaning tool I've found the link too on a matter further under your original one. But I'm sure you can find it pretty easy.

  I followed the instructions and chose the creative cloud section and cleaned up. I then discovered that I had to revive creative cloud by finder. It's so once this process is complete, I discovered I could reinstall lightroom.

  Joanne, please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom by using the uninstall program located in the/Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.

  You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 of Adobe - Lightroom: for Macintosh.  The update contains the entire application.  Photoshop Lightroom cannot be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be allowed with a serial number.
