DPP Smooth Zoom?

Anyone know if there is a way, during the examination, to zoom in and out smoothly?  I know there are presets to 12.5, 25, 50, etc., but it changed a pain to have to define the predefined setting whenever you want.  In PSP for example, smoothly zoom in-and-out up/down arrows.

If there is not a current method, is there a way to add to a 'DPP list of wishes "?

Thank you!

Hi PajamaGuy!

Thanks for the post.

It is not a smooth zoom feature in DPP, only the hard points of zoom.

  • Smooth Zoom in

I am trying to create a smooth fast zoom in a shot of video over a period of about 20 images. I zoom works well with movement etc. keyframes but because was a locked-off shot the final effect "staccato" executives at bottom.

Any suggestions, I tried adding a little zoom blur, but it seems just wrong.

    A.

    Alan,

If I understand what you find unacceptable, and what you want to do, I suggest you change the Interpolation between your Keyfrmaes. You have a Pan and zoom, and you can set keyframes for these effects of movement, scaling (Zoom) and the Position (Pan).

With the Clip selected, go to the display of the keyframe of the two effects (of course, one at a time) and set the display of the keyframe to, say scale (Zoom) initially, to display the keyframes. You can zoom the Timeline for vercial display on-screen and also stretch the video track horizontally, click + dragging the tie bar in the header of the track of the video. This will allow you to see clearly the movement > scale Keyframes. Now, Rt-click on the first keyframe, and choose deceleration. Use the next/previous buttons in the Panel effects, or if you can clearly see and click on the next keyframe, Rt-click on it and choose the ease in. According to accurate keyframes, you want to repeat this step. I couldn't tell if you have used keyframes to "hold" a Motion > scale of adjustment (except for the last), but if not, instead of Ease out/in, you can get more finesse with Bézier continues. Feel free to experiment with the various settings of Interpolation. I think you are linear, as it is, so the acceleration is linear and instant. A flavor of Bézier (Ease out/in is just a Bezier Tween Preset), to smooth things.

When done with Motion > scale (Zoom), change the display of the keyframes for the motion Clip > Position and repeat the process with the Interpolation method, who worked on it.

To see the result of your best, I had put the WAB (work area bar) to JUST Clip, which often make. The WAB will limit renders it exactly this element, as you set. When you work with animation of retouching, I could make 100 times, until I get what I want - of course, by that I mean I could make 100 adjustments, made after each of them, to see clearly how to look my changes.

Good luck and let us know if a taste of Bézier, replacing the linear Interpolation, allows to obtain the desired effect.

To zoom in and out of the images is placing them in movieclips and gradually adjust clips values x and y scale.

  • How can I Zoom smoothly with a Magic Mouse in photoshop?

    Hello.

I never use normal mice and zoom has never been a problem. I have always used the scroll to zoom and everything was fine and dandy. But later yesterday my Logitech mouse broke and I upgraded to an Apple Magic Mouse. Everything was great until I opened Photoshop and try to zoom. The scroll to zoom is horribly broken, he jumps out of tiny super zoom to huge, it is impossible to make a precise, smooth zoom.

I use the latest version of PS on a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.8.4 of the retina.

I'd appreciate any help, I work with a lot of very large documents, and my workflow has been seriously slowed down because of this.

Ditto. Zoom chinless is a much more pleasant to navigate IMO way.

  • Zoom strange questions Indesign 11.4.0.90

I like the new zoom in Indesign, used with a pre-release beta version where it has worked flawlessly. Not sure what's the name of it, but it works as it does in illustrator and photoshop (latest versions). You click with zoom, hold and drag forward or back and it zooms in and out. Very fluid and works well for me in the way I work. in any case, I find in Indesign, it seems to stop working every now and then, I can't find a coherent reason to stop work. I have a business card I am setting up and trying to zoom in, but by getting only the zoom area. Without close Indesign, I open a new document and can now zoom in and out as described above, the right way.

What is trashing files preferably using, or what is happening here? Is there an option somewhere to turn this style zoom? This is on a Mac under OS 10.11.5

understand the problem... Well not really a problem. When switching between CPU and GPU preview, it changes how the zoom. So if I set it up to get a glimpse on the CPU, it not the area zoom, if I set it up to get a glimpse on the GPU, it's the smooth zoom in and out.

  • Define increments Zoom tool?

Hey gang, I'm searching through the preferences and I don't see an option for this, so I thought I would put my request you all. What I'm trying to do, is to find a way that I can specify the percentage that each [ctrl + /] will zoom actually by. In simple terms, I want that my zoom tool for always zoom in or out in increments of 50%. This isn't a big problem, I just find often wonder if I can find a way to define it. I am aware that I can go in the lower left corner to type in a specific zoom level, but I'm looking for a shortcut. Running CS5.

    Thanks for reading!

No way to change those increments as far as I know.  The keyboard selects just up or down of the members of the list that you get when you right-click on a document with active Zoom tool.

Keep in mind what have zoom "brush" option, in which you can use your mouse to quickly set the zoom by dragging it on the screen.  And you also have the ability to adjust the scroll wheel of the mouse to zoom the screen - I think that the increases that are smaller (10% if the memories are good).  There is also the smooth zoom you get with OpenGL, the assets of the Zoom tool and click and hold the mouse pointer.

  • Zoom speed variation

I'm new to After Effects, I struggled for a few days trying to get a smooth 'zoom' on a JPG photo. I have keyframe in point, go to the key image on point.and using 'Ladder' and 'Position' zoom in the image. If I make it the zoom starts very fast and then slows down average at the end I tried to adjust "Keyframe Velocity', 'Keyframes Interpolation' and"The keyframe adjustments"nothing done.

Is it possible to make the zoom at the same pace through the whole movie?

Do exactly what you did. Then select the scale in the timeline. Then, go to Animation > keyframe Assistant > exponential scale.

This will set a keyframe for each image and change the speed of the zoom to one that is more natural effect.

The other option would be to transform the layer into a 3D object, add a camera to the publication and then animate the position of the camera.

  • Benchmark of Performance space Oracle to ESRI vs Oracle EE vanila

Do we not have any indicators to improve performance, compare performance with Oracle EE database as the back-end, vs Oracle Spatial with ESRI ArcGIS of ESRI (especially during the edition of map).

Just to add my $0.02, what has already been said...

We use the SDO_GEOMETRY and the ST_GEOMETRY of ESRI here. Hands down, SDO_GEOMETRY is faster - returned from the database. No contest.

HOWEVER - this is not what the user. What they perceive as database performance, it's the speed at which Arc attracts some data on their screen. That's where the problem lies. We found in many cases, their ST_GEOMETRY format (like their old format BINARY SDE) restores at least an order of magnitude or more quickly, even if it takes more time for the database to extract the data and send it back.

Frankly, their SDO_GEOMETRY rendering support was always very bad, and it still shows. Screens of the application of GIS Java web start developed 10 years ago by using the old Java 2D makes shots even away from the CRA API anything in terms of rendering performance, even in 4 K. I'm talking of second vs 58 seconds for an index of comparison I did with 10.3. Sharp zooms smooth zoom blur clumsy vs. In this case, the database returns the data in less than 1/10 of a second. The rest of the time was stack all - and in the case of our application, which involves a medium level and client VS the arcmap client/server model. AND - which is also including time to math for POI lat - lon on the fly that extends to every latitude square grids.

Again - the perception is reality to end users. In our experience, Oracle is faster with SDO_GEOMETRY. But their application code is almost always much faster with their native format - and this is the real bottleneck here.

  • Render blackens when GPU acceleration + .psd in project

    Hello

Got first Pro CC 2014.0.1 / build 8.0.1 (21) and a weird and very boring question:

When the GPU rendering is turned on, as soon as I import a .psd (recorded with "max compatibility option) in the project, make a sequence with her to make animations, the render window renders nothing, it's black. Sound is always in progress btw. I have to switch to basic render. Then I can't do anything about this either in real time, as I do a request for many effects and animations of high resolution with smooth zooms, stabilization, correction of the colors and stuff like that.

Anyone facing the same question or have a piece of advice is welcome.

  • Help! Add Jquery to Muse!

Hello world! I bought a Code Canyon Jquery image viewer, but I'll have issues in my Muse site.

    Here is the link: http://CodeCanyon.NET/item/smooth-zoom-pan-jQuery-Image-Viewer/511142

In Dreamweaver, I can edit the HTML file and make it work on its own as an HTML element. The problem is how to work in the Muse? There is more that a simple HTML file with him - he has several. JS files also in other folders. Using Insert > HTML in Muse feature does not work - it shows just a link to the broken image.

I need help step by step with this one!

PS - Here are the files associated with the plugin:

    http://i42.tinypic.com/19qkyf.png

I think that I am running into the same problem. I sent the Director of a plugin, and he told me that what follows is the reason why it did not work properly. Could you help me to place the script where it is supposed to be?

This is because there are a few problems of jQuery on your Web page.

To resolve this problem, you can try adding the html5gallery.js after your other js codes. The blue are your existing codes. You must REMOVE THE html5gallery.js IN THE SECTION of HEAD and move it here (red color):

If this does not work, please let me know. There is another solution if it does not work.

    Kind regards

  • Fluid Image animations

I can't seem to get a mold simple image to look smooth. I used fram different rates, different image rsoltuions, but little matter what I do, panoramic image slowly still seems restless. I also saw on a lot of powerful computers, all with the same jerky animation.

I saw smooth zooms and pans on the internet but can't seem to get the same quality of animation. Here's an example, slow zooms and pans mixed with those quick there and it's all good. http://austinhardware.com/

Any help would be appreciated. I use Flash 9.0

Oh. Usually, it's a good idea to show the problem. Not the answer. Because so far all I can say is, 'Yes it was good."

Images optimized to just the size they do. (72 dpi)
    Verifying the library allow smoothing.
    Change _quality = "BEST".

    These are three usual suspects.
