It comes to your master account and master accounts are not the application role because it creates problems. The main account has Admin roles and Viewer Builder previously assigned to him. Now, you will need to create an Adobe id and assign the Application role to who. To create the new id, click on 'create a new Adobe id '. Once you create the id here, you will get an e-mail automated on this email ID to activate the account and a password. Once done, go again to the administration panel. Select only the new id and click on configure. on the next page click 'Activate' under Application accounts.

This is the error message I get when I try to install the DPS App generator. I am on OS 10.8.5. I found another forum thread that says removing Adobe Air and App Builder, empty the trash, restart and reinstall Air and App Builder. Tried that (even if I'm ever with successful App Builder installed) and it still does not work. I tried two different versions of the App Builder installers (DPSAppBuilder - 31.2.0.dmg I downloaded the 8/11 and DPSAppBuilder - 3.1.3 - RC.dmg I downloaded today 8/21).

How am I suppose to create my application if I can't even this installed?

Very well. I FINALLY got to work. I hope. We'll see. Even if I have the admin/password combo, I had to log my machine AS an administrator in order to install the DPS App generator. Regardless of how many times I have uninstalled/reintalled apps AdobeAir /, etc. I couldn't install DPS App Builder when you are logged as ole simply me. I had uninstalled ALL my CC2014, still could not install the DPS App Builder when I thought to try the switch on log-ins. It worked. It is installed. YES! Back to my log-in, take a look in the Applications folder, it's still there. Smiles everywhere right? Install new ID CC2014. And Wah - Wah. It did not work. Somehow, in that move, he removed DPS App Builder. So I had to pass the side admin, reinstall rear switch and 'Create approx...' work in InDesign. Who knows how long this will remain. Not sure if it is stable or if it will disappear from my application again, but from this second file, I am connected to DPS App Builder of InDesign.

  • DPS App Builder does not?

    Hello

We are enrolled in the professional edition. We strive to publish our application for the iPhone and the Android market.

We have read the manual extensively and think we are all right

... but we have a problem by creating a FREE multifolio app.

When you click on Create app in InDesign, we are transferred to the DPS App Builder and it is the default window, we get:

    Screen Shot 2013-12-13 at 15.46.29.png

This window gives us only one option: iPad

As you can see there is a folio in this window.

The folio was published under the same Adobe ID as the title ID and the ID DPS App Builder. All the same.

But we want an iPhone option. So, we hit Cancel and click NEW instead. Then we had this window:

    Screen Shot 2013-12-13 at 15.46.46.png

Well, now we're getting all these options! Yahoo! We looked at the iPhone and iPad, when you click on the button NEXT. Then we had this window.

    Screen Shot 2013-12-13 at 15.48.38.png

We saw immediately that he was no folio associated with this option but went ahead anyway. We have put in all the files and all the stuff and produced the app.

We downloaded the developer .ipa file and put it on the iPhone.

The icon appears, the splash screen appears. And then, we see this beautifull VACUUM window. The folio iPhone do not occur with the mulifolio application.

We are not at this news. We understand the process.

So we have two options: 1. we give up something (I hope) or 2. There's a huge loophole DPS App Builder (that we uninstalled and installed again, several times)

Please, please, is it something that everybody knows? The time factor is huge!

    Thank you

    Gunnar

PS. We used v. 28, creating the folio.

It's not like understand you the process.

A multi-folio application is just that - folios are housed in the Service of Cloud Computing from Adobe and available for download. They are not cooked in the app and subsequently not included in the viewer somehow generator.

A simple-folio application where folio is cooked within the application itself and not downloaded from a server of the user of the application. It is not an option available for the iPhone, sort through DPS.

  • DPS App Builder does not CS6 Folio Builder Panel

I am trying to test an application and to Create App step. However, when I use the Panel Builder Folio > Create App to order, enter a loop of DPS App Builder telling me I have to go to disconnect from DPS App Builder and go through Folio Builder Panel > Create App order.

So I disconnect, go through the process again. Then in the App DPS generator, I can only "manage" my apps (I didn't as I have now deleted) I'm not able to create a new application of the table edge DPS or via App Builder.

I am really struggling with this now as given that the upgrade to V28 DPS tools, nothing works and I can't move on Adobe for some techinical on DPS support.

Can anyone throw any light why a person with a creative cloud account, not published applications, and all the correct certificates generated does not have the ability to create a new application for a complete Folio, with a. Zip file ready and waiting to go...?

I'd appreciate it really any contributions to this number

After a difficult journey, this simple solution cured this issue:

    1. Quit InDesign and all the other CS apps.
    2. First file, delete the opm.db is "your username" in /Users/ / Library/Applicationopm.db, and then start InDesign and try to connect to the control panel.

I also remove the InDesign file (hold SHIFT, CTRL, ALT, CMD on startup of InDesign) as advised but don't know if that makes a difference.

I'm really happy it seems to work again. Phew

  • Error starting of DPS App Builder - Application not found

    WTF people.

This morning I opened my document (CS5) and he said that I should update my folio tools (Needless to say I hate it to be forced to do an update before I can start working).

Well, I do an update, these two tools (tools of producer and Folio Builder).

Now, there seems to be a few changes, I can't update my folio via the menu more. At the time to choose the new 'building app' - option I get an error:

"An error occurred when starting of DPS App Builder. The App-Builder DPS application not found"(translated).

Original German version: "Beim Starten von DPS App Builder ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Wurde die DPS App Builder application non found. »

All Solutions? Where to find the mysterious "Application App-Builder"?

Edit: Refresh is now possible within the folio as it seems.

App Builder is nothing else than a new name to Viewer Builder. Download go DPS.

  • DPS App Builder: Java not installed

    Nice day

I try to use DPS App Builder, and it keeps prompting me to install Java, which it is. I have the latest version of Java, (8.25). It doesn't always work, even if I uninstall the application Builder and reinstall.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you.

For Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), you must install a special version of Java from Apple:

    Java for OS X 2014-001

We are currently routing in DPS App Builder to this article link:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Digital-Publishing-Suite/KB/app-Builder-Java-Update-prompt.html

  • Departure of DPS App builder does not work. Java error message.

Given that I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.10 the App Builder no longer works.

It is said that it needs Java. But Java is installed. I walked to the oracle site and upgraded to latest (8u25 at the time), but to no avail. It stills shows the same error. I also tried to reinstall Appbuilder DPS... also no effect. I rebooted the system, etc. without effect.

Edit: Also this link for a promised work apple JRE: Java for OS X 2014-001 dosen't work for me (still empty, no download). Strange thing... on the website of oracle to check what version I have, it is said correctly 8u25. If I check in the terminal with: java-version, it says 'No Java runtime present'... so I guess the problem is on the side of Apple. Edit-end.

    Here is a screenshot:

The message is in German. It is said: 'Install Java. To use the DPS App Builder, Java must be installed. Install Java and then restart App Builder. »

  • Error "Authentication required", in DPS App Builder

    Hello world.

What is the cause of the error "requires authentication" when you try to start the DPS App Builder?

    GREAT NEWS!

We have connected our acrobat.com with Safari account.
On our dashboard when we clicked on DPS App Builder on the left, Safari offered for us save Apple Developer account!

And when this recording was made, DPS App Builder no longer ask questions!

When we connected with Firefox on our acrobat.com account and we clicked on DPS App Builder, any proposed listing had been requested by Firefox.

Actually, we had not yet registered our company with Apple Developer.

So, the problem seems to be in check with Apple, and apparently, DPS App Builder does not want to be launched if this entry is not yet made.

Well, now DPS App Builder works normally

    Thanks for your help.

I hope this discussion can help someone else who will be blocked with DPS App Builder.

(PS: can you tell me if this blockage is known in the Adobe DPS development team?)

  • Download Firefox and DPS App Builder

    Hello

If the DPS App Builder is not installed and you if you try to download in the Digitalpublishing account in Firefox, the download does not start. This works for Safari and Chrome. Please add the link to download weather that the DPS App Builder is installed or not.

    Kind regards

OK I could reproduce this as well. If you refresh the page, it will work. It's something funky with the cache and Firefox layout.

  • App Builder does not advance - edition single user

I have followed the directions identified in the following chain with Neil Enns - Adobe but haven't be able to succeed in advancing in DPS app Builder.

Re: Cannot advance in DPS App Builder

I finished my folio of construction and you have chosen "Create App" with the manufacturer of Folio. When DPS App Builder opens, there is nothing listed under app type/name, despite the signing in builder app DPS with ee applicable Adobe ID. When I select 'New', then 'iPad', it brings me to a form that I then complete, but DPS App Builder goes no further when I choose "next". I am a user of editing simple forward trying to submit the application before the expiration time may 1st.

I was chatting with Adobe, support Case # 0186577346, but have not yet had a bit of luck to determine how to fix.

As mentioned in Re: cannot advance in DPS App Builder, I launched App Builder of the Folio Builder Panel. I closed also the Folio Builder Panel once DPS app Builder is open, I rebooted my machine and uninstall/reinstall Builder app DPS.

    Blocked screen:

    stuck window.png

    PROBLEM RRESOLVED

I uninstalled, restarted and installed as indicated forums. What I've found, is that DPS App Builder had a default startup window showing, so when Adobe InDesign CS6 and says to "create an APA", he sent the data to the DPS App Builder, but its default window was denying sharing of data. DPS App Builder did not have a folio of work from. When I open the DPS App Builder and check the "do not show at startup", closed the app and then tells InDesign to "create an app," once again, he succeeded. I was able to create icons and splash screens and connect certificates and move forward from there.

Neil Enns - Adobe - maybe it's an important bug in the DPS app generator.

Can you try a construction with the web app Builder, leaving out direct payments for now and see if it works?

If you have had trouble with the direct payment API, besides, it is probably because your right server does not support direct v2 of the API right. If you update to support v2, it'll work.
