  I'm spending PageMaker in InDesign CS4. I have a problem of numbering of the pages in my document of 50 pages. I have facing pages and was able to draw a text box on the left side of my Master Page (A) to insert numbers. I now have numbers, that is, 2, 4, 6, etc., printing on the left side of my document pages. (Not sure why paging was applied only to the left.) I was not able to draw a text box on the right side of the Master Page (A) while I can number the odd document pages, if this is the way to go. The right text box does not consume. I googled the problem and tried several different methods, but can not get to the right page numbers. Any help would be appreciated. Uh oh, I fear the saying "you can't teach an old dog monkey" may be applicable.

  Zoom out until you see Master left and right Page (easier is to hit Alt + Ctrl + 0: 'Fit spread in window' in the view menu).

  Copy the box with the page number, you already have and paste it immediately - it should appear somewhere in the neighborhood of the center of your screen.

  Select it with the black arrow (not the white or the text tool) and slide it into place on the right page.

  I have three channels (time, force, displacement) of approximately 1 000 seconds of a sinusoidal test load test data (sampling rate was 100 Hz).  I would draw the difference in phase between the force and displacement (perhaps using a second window 30) according to time.  I tried using a few different analysis functions, but I get what looks like random noise (phase difference between force and displacement is very small and the difference in amplitude is very fantastic - 4 orders of magnitude).  Any suggestion would be appreciated! -Jim

  Hi Jim,.

  The phase channel resulting, that you get with the function FFT DIAdem is in the frequency domain.  If you select a channel data and time in the FFT dialog box, you will get a frequency channel that results as well as the Phase channel resulting.  If you select only a weather channel of waveform data in the FFT dialog box, you will get a Phase of waveform frequency channel resulting.

  Lol you'll either need to set the properties through the dialog box.  Or use the nodes property of the graph to adjust the Active plot and then set the color of the plot.  This can be done in a loop For.

  I am developing a SuggestBox Field using the 4.5 API. I read a thread where Peter had a discussion about this.   You can copy the blue box in the front (Ctrl / Cmd + C + F + X + F), then select all and Ctrl/Cmd + 7 to make a clipping mask.

  Hello - I use the latest version of Adobe Illustrator CC on Windows 7. I need to make a text box with columns to 32.875 w x 20 h. I use the text tool, draw the box at that size and then open the "type area options" dialog box to specify the column number, gutter width etc. and it automatically resizes the text to 13.888 box w x 13,889 h without fault. I try to type the right width and height in the appropriate space and I hear the windows "error". When I click on 'Preview' show me the box of text resized to 13.888x13.999 so I don't see what I'm doing. It's infuriating, please, someone else had this problem?

  I checked the window of 'transformation' - and the 'blocking' to constrain the proportion of width and height is "unlocked."

  I have some users of Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and they want to be able to scribble on their adobe pdf files. "I could get this to work using the form"free draw"and drawing clear" tools bar comments at the top of the document. It's great! But they only really want these 2 tools. Anyway is to add them to the top of the menu bar? In the same region on the reminder option Add or on this bar?

  Hi Richard Tilford,

  If you use Adobe Reader, then it is not possible to add these tools to the toolbar using the same.

  However, you can add 'Draw in the form of free' and 'Clear design' tools in the toolbar using Adobe Acrobat.

  You could right-click anywhere on the toolbar and choose the option to customize the quick tools .

  

  In the dialog box that opens, choose a comment and then add two tools. Click on the "Add to toolbar" option and select Save.

  Another option is to put the Options bar of the Rectangle rounded to the path tool

  Trash bolt for the background layer, hold down the Cmd key and click on the symbol of the new layer to layer below the image to white. Then edit > fill with white.
