Dreamweaver CS6 - dynamically-related files can be solved

I have MAMP server running. And a defined and running Wordpress database. I have configured the file yesterday and it worked fine all day that I edited the site Wordpress files in Dreamweaver in a Local environment.

I went back again to Dreamweaver today and when I have the index.php file opened in Dreamweaver and click on the link to Discover, I get the message "linked files dynamically not solvable because the site definition is not correct for this server."

When I go back to check the configuration of the Site... everything seems correct.

In the basic window I - connect using: Local/network... and the good folder on server, and the Web URL

In the advanced options window the server model is PHP MySQL

And the testing server is checked.

So why would it works very well and not work then?

What Miss me?

Thank you

I discovered the answer... so I thought I would post it for anyone else knows the message even "dynamically related files can be solved."

Dreamweaver has a bug, where the dynamic discovery files feature does not work with Wordpress, except if you let Wordpress Permalink settings to their default values.

If you have changed the settings of Permalink in the name easier to find after setting (for example), you will to this put the default setting.

I recently had to upgrade DW8 to CS5.5 DW running on Windows 7 64 bit. and get this error on many pages, but there is no help in fixing it.  The local testing server is localhost, set up to run PHP with iis7 on virtual folders.

What should I do to get the found dynamically related files?

    Thank you

I think I've cracked it - nothing to do with the databases, which was a red

    herring.

I had a hundred sites on a XP machine running Dreamweaver 8 and used

the ease of export to save their settings when I moved to a Windows 7

System.  The structure of directories of Win7 is different, but the testing server

location stored in the export file does not take account of that and a part of

the path can now include directories that are perceived as shortcuts.  Once the

locations are reset to zero in terms of Win7, the errors go away.

  • DW CC: Cannot discover dynamically related files for WordPress

    Hello

I've been stuck on this for a week now. I have WordPress locally through MAMP.

In the root of WordPress (http://localhost/sitename/wordpress/), the file index.php is able to discover dynamically related files as expected.

In my wp-content folder (wp-contenthttp://localhost/sitename/wordpress//), index.php is also successful in discovering the dynamically related files.

But in my theme folder (http://localhost/sitename/wordpress/wp-content/themes/themename /), none of the related files are dynamically able to be discovered.

I get the error message "dynamically related files cannot be resolved due to an internal server error. . Retry"

Of course, this is problematic because I need the theme files specifically to create my custom page layouts and see a preview of my PHP files, otherwise I would run just WP on the web.

I scoured many forums, many on the Adobe Forums and Stackflow as well as other sources, including video tutorials. The most common solution is to assign default permalinks. I've never really touched this setting. It has always been activated by default if this isn't the issue. In fact, last night, I gave up all my work and re-installed WordPress. Do not work even themes pre-installed. Needless to say that my problem is not with the permalinks. I'm still stuck and I am very frustrated.

Here are some of the most common solutions.

The directory of the site folder is: / Applications/MAMP/htdocs/sitename/wordpress

    Server Info:

    • Server name: Test
    • Connect using: Local/network
    • Server folder: / Applications/MAMP/htdocs/sitename/wordpress
    • Web URL: http://localhost/sitename/WordPress
    • Server model: PHP/MySQL
    • Remote control: Not checked, tests: checked

If anyone can offer alternatives please help!

As stated in the po, I did this as well. However, it seems that I've identified the problem! I received part of my index.php files mixed. Once I put in place only the files that I needed to get to being in the right place, I was able to pass unhindered. Thank you!

  • dynamically related files cannot be resolved due to an internal server error

Hey there, I just worked through a Lynda.com tutorial on creating a Wordpress template in Dreamweaver, and I did everything to the T step by step.  I have set up a local server (mamp) before, but I've also followed this tutorial first to make sure that I was doing that well too. I followed the tutorial template Wordpress all the way until it was time to work on the CSS file.  When I went to 'discover the dynamically linked files' it gives me the error message: "linked files dynamically cannot be resolved due to an internal server error."  For the life of me I can't understand what is wrong for what I can fix it.  Without all the associated all files work that I just have to configure php files of header, footer, index, etc. is pretty useless.  How to understand what is the "internal server error" and fix it?  Help, please!

Certainly, you should be able to view WordPress in Live View mode.

If Dreamweaver behaves unexpectedly, the most likely cause is a corrupt cache file. Follow the instructions to remove a corrupt cache file. See if that makes a difference.

    I don't understand why you use Mamp/library.

The default MAMP web folder is htdocs.

    Therefore, your server folder/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/yourSiteName

  • dynamically to files...

    Hello

I'm used to working with dynamically linked files that can only be discovered by the server, such as PHP files, so I know how to set up a test server. In fact, I did several times.

Recently, I started to work with Wordpress. At the same time I started having weird problems with the testing server.

    I have the following errors:

Dynamically files cannot be resolved, because the site definition is not correct for this server

    * Dynamically files do not have can be resolved due to an internal server error.

My test server is installed correctly, but Wordpress sometimes shows hundreds of dynamically related files and sometimes nothing at all. I have trouble dealing with this problem, because it defies all logic.

I feel there is no other solution than to the default permalinks setting.

    Cannot install dreamweaver cs6

My problem is now solved , but I'll never really know what it was.

Because I did two things at once: I downloaded again CreativeCloudSet up.exe and, as with the CD install usually stopped during the installation of the Adobe help, I deleted the file "Adobe Help" from my computer and finally here's the installation worked.

Corrupted file or folder "Help Adobe" that prevented the installation?

In any case this kept me busy.

Thank you very much for your answers.

Almost all of the support for dynamic content has been deleted in the PCOC. You must install the Legacy Extension for some of them back.

  • Dreamweaver CS6 freezes all the time.

My MacBook is in the repair shop, so for now I use my PC. I reinstalled Windows and Dreamweaver loaded on it. I have a subscription to creative cloud and running Dreamweaver version Build 12.2 6006. However, Dreamweaver freezes constantly. I could open a file, or simply type and it will get locked. It is certainly not my PC, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 SP1 (all updates), Intel processor i5 @ 3.20 GHz, 8GBs of RAM. The only thing I could think of would be my hard drive? Although other programs are not lead the struggle bus as Dreamweaver was.

May or may not be related to your question, but I had to use this hotfix for the years: http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/hang-opening-document-dreamweaver-cs5.html

    Recommended here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/656747

You could also try to edit > Preferences > General > activate the associated files > discover dynamically related files > manually.

When the downloaded, it does not appear on the Web page. Dreamweaver is in the version of CS6 on a 64-bit Windows 7 system. The animation file works well when you look at the original folder, but does not funciton (white screen) when opened in the copied file, Dreamweaver puts in the site folder. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Also, is there a way to close a .flv file? This could be a workaround if I can't solve the problem of .swf.
