Driver digital camcorder model # DCR - TRV350?

I have a digital camcorder model # DCR - TRV350 that I try to use Windows 7, 64-bit, but it seems that I need an updated driver to use. I would be very pleased with the ideas. Thank you, pepper

There is no 64-bit drivers for usb connections. What we can do is upgrade to Windows 7 Professional that can run Virtual Windows XP mode

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/wind... ws-xp-mode

The USBDRVEN installer will work in Virtual Windows XP and
install the drivers correctly and also a link between the installation of
Windows 7 with a virtualization USB Driver Connector.

I don't know if it will work properly with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, because I have a 32-bit computer (IBM T60P
ThinkPad running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit)

Contact Microsoft and ask questions about your particular
computer first before you upgrade.

  • Difference of DCR-TRV350 and CCD-TRV318

I have a Digital 8 DCR-TRV350 and a video camcorder HI8 CCD-TRV318, areb they interchangeable? Can I record one and read on the other? Either a take better pictures?

The difference is technology. DCRTRV350 uses digital technology while CCDTRV318 uses analog. You can record and playback a 8mm Hi8 and standard cassette tapes in two camcorders. If you use a Digital8 tape on your DCRTRV350 you cannot use it with CCDTRV318 camcorder.

  • How to transfer computer DCR TRV350 window 7-64, using ilink

Can someone explain in easy to understand how I can transfer my video from my DCR TRV350 Cam Hi8 tapes to my computer using the ilink connection.

My PC is family premium Windows 7 64-bit processor - 3770-i7 - 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM... Everything I have on the PC's USB ports that tells me if I never get to work the picture is terrible quality and I should get ilink installed on my PC. Pleasssse, anyone know how I can transfer my Hi8 video on my computer so I can burn a DVD disc that can be played on my T - V, or at least on my PC. TKS.

Thanks for the quick reply J. Now I have something to go. Another question: will I get a better video transfer with ieee 1394 v/s USB or both would be the same. TKS

    =================================
Sorry if this is confusing but importing video
    can be a complex topic.

I'm not positive on Hi-8, but log in
FireWire (IEEE 1394) (Sony i.LINK) (not USB)
in collaboration with Windows Live Movie Maker
and Windows Live Photo Gallery is perhaps your
    solution.

Come to think of it... Hi-8 is analog and
must be converted to digital. In my research...
your device is apparently Digital8 which is
Digital if the previous article may be your
    solution.

If it's analog, the following information may be useful:

    The following articles discuss passthrough

While moving recently, I came across my old digital camcorder Sony TRV620E and strips. I thought it would be a good opportunity to transfer the contents of the tape on my Mac I-... It is not as simple as it may seem however. The Mac I will not recognize the camera, which I have connected via an out DV link and a usb connection.

I also downloaded software HomeMemories of Sony, which seems to be as good as a chocolate teapot. In any case, I could not download the content, so I've been in conversation with Sony about it. Bit of a waste of time really, after about 3 months of back and forth emails they say that:

    1. 1. digital Camcorder (DCR-TRV620E) is not compatible with OS El Capitan.
    1. 2 PlayMemories House 3.1.00 or later version is compatible with OS El Capitan.

However, performance is not guaranteed for all computers.

As a result, please try another PC with a different OS.

I don't have access to another PC, only I have a Macbook Pro with exactly the same software as my Mac. They run El Kapitan 10.11.5 and I - Movie10.1.2, HomeMemories 3.1.00.12180 and I also have an old copy of the Toast Titanium 11.

Is it likely that say a DV FireWire or link Thunderbolt will make a difference?  The latest version of the film I is also not compatible with the camera, according to Apple.

This camera needs a Firewire cable.

  • can I transfer dcr-trv350 to windows vist computer?

is it possible to transfer the camcorder dcr-trv350 to windows vista to create DVDs?

original software won't work on vista and pc doesnot recognize camera.

RCA / usb adapter would work? and I need a capture software?

    Hi Jeffmackinnon,

Yes, it is possible to transfer movies from the DCR-TRV350 camcorder to your computer Windows Vista using an A / V connection or via an i.Link (firewire/IEEE 1394 cable) connection. The camcorder's USB connection cannot be used to transfer videos as its USB streaming function is not compatible with Windows Vista.

If you want to use the supplied A / V cable to import videos, check out the link for the instructions below.

If you use an i.Link cable, see the link below.

  • Windows 7 RC: problem with American Driver for camcorder DV Sony iLink

I installed Windows 7 RC and Corel Videostudio X 2 (Version 12) in German on my computer. When I connect my DV-camcorder Sony DCR-TRV22E with I.Link (IEEE 1394) windows 7 recognized the equipment and loading an American pilot with NTSC Videonorm. But my videos are saved to the PAL-Videonorm, which is usually in most European countrys. So my import do not work properly. In Corel Videostudio will be recognized at the camera, but I can only start with the codec DV in NTSC. This was not the case under Windows XP, everything works fine.
Please can someone help me with this problem, and my second question is: in the official version of Windows 7, go down in Germany to 22. October 2009, is this o.k problem.?

You ever need connect your device directly. Buy a card reader for
the type of flash card your camera uses (they are cheap).
Place the flash card and plug it into a USB port.

Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is easier and does not use
the camera battery. I have both these card readers - one I keep on
my desk, close my desktop computer and another that I keep in my
Bag for laptop to use when traveling.
