  Hello.  I recently installed Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1 on my computer 6300MT HP brand new.  Windows could not load the drivers for some items, and I was able to download and install all except two:

  PCI serial port

  PCI Simple Communications controller.

  I looked for drivers and downloads for my specific product (#QV983AV), but I can't find the drivers to install for both of these.  I downloaded and installed all the Chipset drivers listed for this particular model PC.  It's the index to download to my machine and the operating system.

  For Toshiba PC models listed below, Toshiba offers a 'Pilot limited' support on a new installation of the operating system Microsoft Windows 7.
  To be honest, I am interested how this limited support will look like, as I too old model of the Satellite P200 laptop.

  In any case, we must also understand that Toshiba produces many models of laptop computers. Each laptop model has several different types and all aged 18 or more European languages.
  So if they want to go back and support all models produced over the past two years can you imagine how much software employers Department needs for this work and how long it takes to do.

  All the drivers, tools and utilities must be installed, tested, if there is a bug, it needs to be fixed, tested again and so on. I understand that this is nothing but mission impossible. So I can understand somehow if Toshiba won't take in charge the models over a year.
  Let's see what happens the next few weeks.

  They all give 404 error trying to download.

  No idea where you can get these drivers as it is the laptop is a bit useless without at least some video drivers and wireless.

  Satellite A300D-14R belongs to the PSAKCE series.
  The page of the European driver Toshiba does contain all of the Windows 7 drivers for this series, but you can use some only Vista drivers, and you can use the VAP (value added package) and published for example Satellite L500 Flash Card Support utility.

  The VAP is necessary in order to get some features of Toshiba works again
  Flash Cards Support utility is necessary in order to get the buttons FN working again
  Check this box!

  PS: I recommend using Forums search option and search for similar topics! There are a lot of messages on the same topic that are useful!

  I just bought a * Satellite P200D - 11L (AMD Turion 64 X 2 TL-60, 2 x 1 GB RAM, 200 GB HDD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600, 17 '', DVD Multi *). The machine came with preinstalled operating system (* Vista Home Premium 32 bit *).

  I had a look on the DVD of recovery, but it does not all drivers. I tried to find & download the drivers for this model, but all that is available on the Toshiba site is upgrading the BIOS.

  Does anyone know where to find the rest of the drivers?

  To my knowledge, this laptop is very new on the market and it seems that the drivers for this series are not released.

  Looks like we have to wait a bit.

  I have serious problems. I sold my Satellite P105-S6014 and promised Vista on it, but when I install it (it came with XP btw.) the fingerprint reader doesn't work at all and the sound card too. I looked for new drivers, installed, deactivated - reactivated, reinstalled the drivers, etc and no luck! :((

  The L300 is a new series on the market. I checked the page European driver of Toshiba and it seems that XP drivers are not being released at this time

  What to say to boyfriend. I think you have to wait until Toshiba release all the XP drivers for this series L300

  By the way; As far as I know a few series L300 is equipped with the chip Realtek audio.

  If the its doesn't work under Win XP you could install the audio driver from Realtek site.

  Either you wait until Toshiba releases these XP drivers for this series, or you will try a similar series like Sat A130 pilots.

  I already installed the drivers for everything except the fingerprint reader (do not want), tpm (really envy) and hdd (tos620a) motion sensor (not embarrassed at this time).   I tried the 32-bit xp package called 'pwrsav '; It installs a bad help link in my Start menu and adds a few exes, tpsmain and tpsoddctl, to my automatically starts. These 32-bit executables left immediately after execution.

  I tried to install packages of 64-bit Vista from Toshiba hotkeys / common modules / power management, but the only one of the three I can find via toshiba.co.uk is the common modules, and unfortunately this zip file contains only .inf, .cat and .sys files, no program installation.

  Motivation:
  I use a new installation at the same time because the default installation of Vista is unusable (900 MB of memory used on a fresh startup desktop, disk divided into several partitions, trial, adware and with broken software at left and right)
  I use x 64 because I am software engineer the next product needs to work on x 64, and this new laptop was a likely first candidate

  The European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers for XP 32 bit and Vista (32-bit & 64-bit).
  I did find all the drivers for XP 64-bit OS.

  As much as I know XP 64-bit drivers is not exist for one of the series of Toshiba laptops.

  Now a new better ;)

  I found a tool called display Tuner.
  It offers convenient access to the monitor settings, such as brightness, contrast, color settings.

  Perhaps this is an option for you.
