• Logitech C920 crashing during video call Skype V7.1

  In Skype version 7.1 under Windows 7 64 - bit, when I'm in a Skype call with more than one other person that my webcam freezes and Skype will stop using it for video. I see a single frozen image of the webcam on my dissertation, but others in the call only see my avatar and aren't able to hear my voice.

  I tried an earlier version of Skype (6.44 I think), and I wasn't able to get a test of this question will because of skypes-differences between versions turning off features and making the way quite too inconvenient to continue to use the old version.

  Me and a friend tried to start a video call on our iPhone 5. We all have the latest version of Skype, but I can't share my video, just my friend. I see my friend perfectly, but my friend can not. I first thought that maybe FaceTime should be turned on, because my friend has it. But he seems to have nothing in common. I also tried to toggle camera during the video conference session when it's on, but the camera does not illuminate. Typed on/off camera, but nothing happens. I am naïve and I really want this to work. I appreciate any suggestions!

If you see your sef on your screen then the problem is probably the end of your friend, if you do not see yourself try to switch to the rear camera and see what happens, if it does not work try to use facetime to reach your friend and put end facetime and Skype.

  Help!  I love editing videos on my iPhone 6, but suddenly when I try to edit a film in the folder "projects" on my phone, I get an error message everytime that says "some of the videos in this project must be uploaded to the cloud."  Fine.  Very good-not much, I received this message before.  But it's almost every element in the montage, and worse yet... they never end downloaded, so I can't access it.  I'm not talking that they download even when I leave it alone overnight.

  I've looked everywhere I can think of is somehow cloud-ish (?) nothing works.  I do not know where are these clips and why this is happening now, when he has never before.  At this point I didn't even care - I want to just download the clips and store them on my phone instead of the cloud, so I can end this very sensitive time in video editing.

  Thanks for your question.  Looks like you have videos that are not stored on your iPhone that you want to edit with iMovie for iOS.  You have iCloud library enabled with the option "optimize"?  If so, the videos are stored in iCloud instead of on your device to save space.

  1. Go into settings.
  2. Tap on iCloud > Photos.
  3. Choose [device] Optimize storage.

  Noting with iOS 10 that I am on a call and using my blue tooth headset, incoming notifications do not display on the lock screen.  I hear the notification sound and the screen lights up, but the notification isn't here.  I have to slide down or unlock to see the incoming text.  With iOS 9, the notification was on the lock screen if I was on a call or not.    This is a minor annoyance, but it's a nuisance.  Everyone has noticed this?  Any chance of getting this problem?

Based on what you said, it seems that you have problems with notifications when the phone via Bluetooth call.   This weekend I installed the current version of the market on a gingerbread 2.3 freshly wiping / reinstalled the base image from Samsung on my Galaxy Tab 7.

  I've reconfigured my account to go to the market, looking at Skype, installed.

  Once logged into Skype I have a message saying video support is now available (I confirm that the video calls are checked by default in the settings), well.

  I ran the tests both on WiFi & 3 G. The other party (Skype on Mac) don't see me as not being a device activated by video, can make audio calls, but not video call. On my side, requesting a video call passes in landscape mode but the video fails to launch and I'm stuck with Audio only. I can try to activate video during an audio call, still no luck, press the icon of camera and nothing happens.

  If the Galaxy Tab 7 is supported, then I have a bug. Help, please. Thank you.

  The test Mac backend used Skype for OS X version 2.8. Yes, version 5 is released for Mac too, but it's so * beep * ugly, office space eater and intrusive, the owner of the laptop wanted to stick to it (because it still works well with pretty much all Skype customers, including iPhones & iPads).

  So after you have downloaded and tried Skype for OS X version 5.3, video calls to Skype Android customers turned to be positive... And very good also!

  Just a reminder also update the 'other end' Skype client (friends / family).

  The owner of this laptop goes back to version 2.8, but held version 5.3 installed and it will pull upward only when required.

  The screen is supposed to close during a call. As soon as you press it against your ear, the proximity sensor is turning off screen, in order to avoid "plays the numbering" or similar effects.

  If the screen is not active as soon as you lift the phone to your ear, check if the proximity on the top of the screen sensor is not covered by a protective film or the case, if you use one.

  Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

  You won't lose data by resetting, but it can cure a few glitches.

  To make sure that it is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any data backup later. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone.

  If the phone works again, restore the last backup. If the problem returns, the data backup contains damaged data, causing your issues.

  If this still does not work after that, get the phone checked for hardware problems by visiting an Apple store or Apple authorized service next to your site provider.

• Webex Cloud CMR SIP video calls disconnect after 20 seconds

  I am running version 9.1 with Exressway-C CUCM / 8.6 Expressway-E.  I have no problem doing business SIP video calls.  However when I make video calls on a site of WebEx CMR, the call becomes still cut off after 20 seconds.  It is audio and video for the first 20 seconds and then disconnects the call.

  I was able to recreate this situation of 3 of my clients running CUCM version 9.

  I have 2 clients running CUCM v10.5 and the issue is not the case.  I don't know if this question is 100% related to the CUCM version, but looks like a correlation obviouse.

  I watched the SIP trace and it seems that the endpoint CUCM is end the call with normal call clearing.  I tried 8945 phones, jabber for iphones and a C40 and I get the same results.

  If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.

  Can you receive calls B2B? During the call set up, Webex will try to set up another session TCP inbound to your E Expressway on port 5060 and 5061, do you have this open to outside within the TCP sessions? (see page 5 of the CMR-Cloud deployment guide: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/sol...)

  If they are open, the TCP session is configured for an incoming invitation with complete SDP of the TPS Cloud, you can check your sip max message size is located at 11000 - if you went from CUCM ~8.6 5000 was the default size and the default continues for an upgrade.  Check under system-> Service settings-> CUCM service-> show click on the button to display all options, and then check the size of incoming messages SIP advanced Max.

  How to stop text message notifications sounds while I'm in a phone call without silencing everything? It is very annoying and unprofessional when you talk to someone and there is the same constant beeps heard on their end.

  I do not have a setting for it there, but I agree it's annoying to be interrupted during a call. The notification should be delayed. Why not drop a line to iPhone Feedback?
