• Can you have the same dynamic object in two files?

  The situation:

  I have a file 'base' with two (different) smart objects B and C. Now, I want to B and C both containing a third dynamic object D, and I can't get this to work.

  Can I put the same file as the smart object B and C, but it becomes two different smart objects, which are separately editable. I would like to modify the smart object D, and the changes are visible in the B and C and in turn in A.

  Is this possible?

  and please, I don't mean of the workarounds. I have a lot of these, but it save me a lot of time if that were possible.

  Hi guys

  I try to activate a windows vm using the command to invoke vmscript powercli

  cmd /c slmgr / ato works fine when I run a back order but when I call it via a script, then the script just hangs

  I also tried to put the command above in a batchfile locally on the system and just use call vmscript to run the batch file, but which hangs just as

  no idea what I'm missing?

  Can you try to force a non-GUI run, as

  What do you proof is anti-aliasing. There is no way to adjust the color. It is supposed to be a mixture of the color of objects, and what is behind it.

• MaxL Script and batch file

  I have a MaxL script that exports data from different cubes Level0. I have a batch file to call this script at daily intervals.
  
  I want to name something out of different every day (preferably NAMEmmdd type format). I know that I can add a rename or move the lot but wonder if there is a MaxL method that will allow me to export to another name?
  
  Current MaxL is simply
  export database APP. Level0 data_file DB database ' ' $Arborpath\am1119.txt "";
  
  Ideas or direction to go learn the answer?

  Hello

  You can enter variables in maxl, so you the calling batch file can pass in a variable that contains the name of the file with the current date...

  For example, you have a batch file
  essmsh c:\temp\export.mxl "C:\temp\output%DATE:~3,2%%DATE:~0,2%.txt".

  If that was run today it would pass in ' C:\temp\output1118.txt

  Now in your maxl you just refer to the variable with

  export data from database sample.basic Level0 to data_file $1;

  $1 refers to the variable which has been adopted, the 1 being the position, in which it was adopted.

• Photoshop CC 2015 crash during a dynamic object

  Using photoshop CC 2015, just bought and installed. Make a GIF using the MP4 video format. I get in what concerns the conversion of a dynamic object and then it crashes. I'm on a Mac, and I used different video files to make sure it wasn't the file that has been tampered. Is there a reason for it to hang using dynamic object? Or does anyone have an explanation/solutions?

  Hello, I am under difficulties with ram collapse my Photoshop files, please let me know if this is how to use smart objects for their Hi-Rez details, change your object voluntarily collapse / compress in the original document while retaining all of your changes and detail Hi-Rez to save on ram? If If Yes, what is the procedure?  I searched everywhere on the net and have not found an answer to this question.  I'm under that Photoshop CS6 extended on OSX 10.9 Mavericks.

  Thank you, Warunicorn, I do understand that you lose the benefits of dynamic objects, I guess what I'm trying to ask is to make you lose the appearance that smart objects gave you when you group documents? For me if the image looks still even with objects with or without smart objects their pixelated it does not matter that smart objects or they aren't. I seek only the general appearance, is he always looks good as he has done with smart objects. ?

  OK - think I have this sorted out now.

  When you copy and paste an Illustrator file in Photoshop, you get the dialog box PASTE.

  You can paste as smart object, Pixels, path and shape layer. In the past, you would select depending on what you want (in my case for most Smart Object) and viola - you have your dynamic object. However, in the newly revised version, there is a checkbox in low called "Add to my current library" If this box is checked, it becomes a library file that displays with a 'cloud' icon in the layer. If you uncheck the 'Add to my current library' it won't matter as a regular smart object.

  I create graphics, etc. in Illustrator, place them as dynamic objects in a master before displaying file Photoshop save for Web JPEG files as a slide PowerPoint background.   PowerPoint, as with all the office applications, use print sizes images and layouts, not pixel sizes. So, your pictures are probably too small to be seen clearly in PPT. according to Microsoft, failure to PPT for images is 220ppi, so if you want them to be clear, work on the actual size (inches / cm / mm) you want the image and save it to 220ppi or higher - no use save for web. Save for web always saves out to 72 dpi.

I wish I had maxl load files dynamically load since the name of the file may change from time to time. Need advice on how to do it.

  Hi Matt,

  Both Maxl and Batch (.bat, .cmd) files accept input variables. In Maxl, if you run the myscript.mshscript:

  essmsh myscript.msh myDataFile.txt myRulesFile.rul

  inside the Maxl script, you can capture these two file passed in on it (myDataFile.txt myRulesFile.rul) name using the $1 and $2 variables. in this case $1 would receive the value myDataFile.txt, and $2 would be myRulesFile.rul

  This is known as "passing in command line arguments.

  You can do the same thing with the use of batch %1 %2 files...

  Passing the files changing name of your batch file is a bit more complicated, you'll need to read the files from the file system to get new names and move to the MaxlScript:

  CD C:\Folder\where\my\files\are
  for /f %%d in (' dir/s/b / ad') call: runMaxl %.
  Goto: eof

  : runMaxl
  essmsh myscript.msh %1

  For the rest:

  -Do you want to create tools for developers? If so, we must look in the API of project VI and VI server. If this isn't the case, please compile your application LV as executable and call this one using a batch file.

  -LV prefer specific supplies. LV is a programming language. There are several power supply providers (including OR) which provide directly the LV API for their power supplies. So, essentially, the approach is:

  1. choose food that serves your needs.

  2. check if the power supply has a standard interface for programming (such as Ethernet, GPIB, or if the power supply is PXI, is already providing a programming interface!)

  3. check if the LV API (so-called "instrument driver") is available for the device. In the case of a PXI system, get you a device driver (for example NI DCPower).

  4. check if the LV samples are available (for example in the Finder for example LV once you have installed the driver).
