  We use the Oracle e-business suite 12.1.3 and APEX 5.0

  I created the tablespace and a workspace with the same workspace as TEST id.

  There are table purely to appear on APEX.  In TESTING, I did not grant these 'APPS' tables or users of e - biz, I can call to ebiz and create these APEX records.

  However, after installation, I tried to access it via ebiz PROD, he invites me "ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace"APEX_EBS"

  This isn't a question of privilege object, it is an error to the user not being able to access the table space table used to store the data.

  I suggest below

  env 1.) source for the patch file system

  2.) adoption PHASE = CUTOVER. This will make Patch file system run the file system.

  3.) start the application, make sure that everything is more recent and correct.

  4.) adopt PHASE = FS_CLONE - this will copy the file system to run on the patch file system.

  This can get your EBS.

  Now, why this happened can not say, R12 itself that we had seen corruption in the config files as those who wrote whenever you stop.

• How to use Data Guard with E-Business Suite

  I'm trying to get my head around how would you use Data Guard with E - Business Suite.

  I know that you can use only physical standby with EBS, however I have a few basic questions about specific values < SETTING > and how they are treated by a standby.

  Given that the standby and primary servers will have different host names and that generally there are < FRAME > specific values that include the hostname, where they will have to change on the standby server, both from the point of view of the battery backup Apps and within the standby database itself, I wondered how it would happen.

  Usually, EBS cloning process would change the < FRAME > target settings in the target apps stack and the target database (for example, parameters such as FND_NODES etc.).

  Q1. However I do not know how the process of cloning E - Biz would fit with a database of the day before?

  Q2. As the standby database won't even be in an open State, I don't know yet how you would apply a party any of the cloning process to a database of pending to the target?

  Q3. Even if you were able to change on the eve of the database to reflect the < FRAME > from backup server, it would mean surely it was more a physical copy of the primary database, that's why it would be more a day before.

  All a bit confusing - any clarification appreciated

  I have a question that will be useful to other members of the community. How can I restore Oracle E-Business Suite R12 after losing the server that hosts the instance ERP physically?

  
  

  I have 2 scenarios here:

  
  

  1-existing cold backups of DbTier and AppsTier are available

  
  

  I did a full backup of the Apps and Inst files once a week on an external drive.

  I was copy the folder DB (data + DBMS_ORACLE_HOME) after stopping the database cleanly once a week on an external drive. Noting that, here the database is in NOARCHIVELOG mode.

  
  

  Hot 2-existing of the database backups are available and I have a backup of the Apps and Inst files (AppsTier)

  
  

  The database is archivelog here. I did a hot backup full database once a week, a daily incremental backup and a full backup of the archivelogs once a week. All this on an external drive. Inst files and applications are backed up once a week on an external drive.

  
  

  Let something bad happens and we completely lose the physical server. How can I do to restore and recover my R12 Oracle E-Business Suite to a new server?
  

  I know I have to install the same OS on the new server, but what happens after that?

  Yes, you just need to restore files (assuming that your operating system is Linux/Unix). Once you restore the running AutoConfig files to make sure that everything works as expected. You also have to do mental health controls (check CMs, Workflow, running concurrent programs,... etc).

• Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 at 11.5.10.2 upgrade - DBA HELP REQUIRED

  I hope someone can help me... I spent the days so far but the same questions!
  
  I'm setting up a VISION E-Business Suite 11i instance to use for training of users.
  
  I managed to install and get running 11.5.10 on SUSE 9 and have no problem running this.
  
  However, I am trying to update this to 11.5.10.2 by applying the Cumulative Update (CU2) fix (u3460000.drv).
  
  I have followed all the previous steps in Metalink (316366.1) note and applied the fixes 4318672, 4229931 and 4297568 according to the instructions.
  
  All the results of Autoconfig in this context returned a status [PAST] and I was then able to proceed.
  
  I then used AutoPatch apply u3460000.drv, but at a certain point, the script displays:
  
  Failed: File LoadMap.class worker 1 product ecx ECX username.
  Failed: File worker LoadMap.class 2 product as username ECX ecx
  
  ATTENTION: All workers have failed or are pending:
  
  Failed: File LoadMap.class worker 1.
  Failed: File LoadMap.class worker 2.
  
  I checked the logs, the adwork001.log, the adwork002.lo worker and can see that they are evidence of an error:
  
  Message: No ECX_VERSION is stored in the database.

  Error code: 0
  
  I copied the last lines of the log file adwork and also adpatch file of newspaper at the bottom of this thread.
  
  I tried to use adctrl to restart failed workers and also the hidden option 8 to ignore this process and these two steps failed.
  
  I don't see anything about this error on Metalink or Oracle Forums.

  I installed Oracle E-Business Suite Version 12.1.1.9 with Oracle Database 1.1.0.7.0 OEL 5 update 5. Everything works perfectly after installing, I am able to connect to the database and log in the Web site at http:// < hostname >. < domainname >: 80nn.
  So, here's my problem, after I restart the server and try to log in the Web site I get this screen.
  
  
  500 internal Server Error

  I know that many other people have got this question and I tried to debug for a while but no luck.
  
  Hussein says to run the service autoconfiguration on the application and database layer, but when I do this it completes with errors.
  I even tried to start the service of autoconfiguration on a newly installed Oracle EBS without rebooting it and the automatic configuration service always ends with errors.
  
  Also, I looked in the apache log files, I checked the error_log and it says file not found: favicon.ico. So, I added that file but the just error_log shows more errors but the site still does not work.
  
  Can I get a few more ways to solve this problem? Any help would be great.

  I am trying to record a script using Oracle Application testing SUite for E-Business Suite R12.1.3 of load test application. When I start recording, I get a pop up asking me to change/disable the XSS filter in IE8. I altready done this and restart the browser. But the same pop-up message arrives.

  (1) 9.3 ATS is supported for use with Internet Explorer 8? I am on Windows 7
  
  (2) how can I overcome this problem so that I can script EBS records in openscript.

  We are running Oracle E-business Suite 11.5.8 and have noticed a few shots at the request of snapshot associated with marbles.
  The reason why we noticed them, is snapshot logs increased large size (up to 20 GB).
  
  The question is why they grow. As they are instant on demand, something need to be updated manually, but we do not know what.
  
  Can we purge these logs and reclaim the space, or is there an involved process that we do not?

  I'm having a lot of trouble trying to decipher the multitude of information around to incorporate Jdeveloper ADF 12.1.3 ebusiness applications
  
  Essentially, I have created a number of display pages in my application but now need to call APIs to add transactional functions.
  
  My understanding at the moment, is actually to expose web services and call those who are in the ADF using data for the web service controls.
  
  I was able to go to the integration repository and deploy the API. It's when I'm stuck. What should I use BPEL / Oracle Service BUS?
  
  Or I can now access these services directly exposed from ADF. If so, how? I can see the addresses specific to our environment in the WSDL file, however, these are invalid when I try to create a web service data control.
  
  My second question, when deploying to a customer site, these details need to be updated each time (that is to say, there will be specific addresses for each environment?

• Integration SOA with Oracle E-Business Suite

  We have a requirement where we need to integrate Suite(10g/11g) E-Business Suite SOA (11 g). The transaction will trigger E-business (saying the creation of the new client or update the existing customer) and will pass through SOA to the target system. Now the real question, which is what should be the design of integration between E-business Suite and SOA? We will use Queuing concept where the E - Business Suite data is queued and SOA AQ or OA adapter used to retrieve the data and send it to the target system or E-Business suite inserts data into the database and we use adapter DB based on condition of survey DB and go look up new records and forward them to the system target?
  Please mention the performance against the design. Also if you have any other best suggestion for integration, feel free to write.

A negative on the DB adapter is that it is tightly integrated with the table structure > so any change in the structure of the tables can lead to the regeneration of the associated documents (WSDL files, schemas, etc.)

  QA is that you was mentinoed may be persistent in a database, but could be tuned for pooling they are created to share. I think that goes for the queue is a better and standard approach that would deal with the dequeing and all operations of a queue to go re implimentation of the complexities of a queue, if any.
