  You don't need custom software if you only want to use Desktop. You must use the administrator to create the EUL, then you can create reports using office.

  We have Oracle application and database deployed on a single server while running a server on Oracle company Linx on 64-bit and running oracle R12.
  
  So basically I see 03 root folders in my server in my Oracle folder by name

  So far as my backup solution, I plan to have:
  -Solution of RMAN backup for the database which is represented by the DB folder
  ' - OS tar command "to copy the application Oracle which is represented by the apps folder-> correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know...
  -I don't know what is the function of the INST file and what is the best way to save.

  You must use the OS command to save this top, all the same way you save the application tier node files.

  1 BG - BG is a common structure that is used in the EBS overall, if you are looking for the importance of the BG in HCM then BG is used to determine the main structures such as employment, position, quality, group of people, and of the CAKF. It also governs the legal requirements such as type of address, identifying National etc..
  2. one of the main reasons for the HCM to go to a separate BG perspective is if you put salaries in place for several geos?
  If the payroll is not within reach, then number of employees in each geo, the change in structures etc will play key roles when deciding if a separate BG must be defined or not.

  I tried to configure Oracle Business Intelligence and followed the implementation Guide, output 12 - Réf.-E05295-02. I changed the star schema in the file NQSConfig.ini to:
  "Star is EBSAnalyticMaster.rpd, default value;". I downloaded Patch 6086300 from MetaLink to get the "EBSAnalyticMaster.rpd" file and placed in the directory of "C:\OracleBI\server\Repository" but when I started the presentation of Services for the login screen and type in "Administrator" for the ID and the password, I get an "Unable to Log In French - an invalid username or password was entered" error.
  
  Please let me know what I could do wrong.

  As far as I KNOW no, but you can use the network installation guide and can use recomentation specified for the ASM Diskgroup to EBS attribute also

  Nothing to do on the side of the EBS.
  Compare to Siebel, load tests using more memory agent, don't expect not to run too SAW with a single agent. So depending on the number max of SAW, you must properly size your CA.
  Linux is a more scalable system to manage the memory usage. (you can not do that with siebel since the lib of correlation must run on windows).
  According to the script (web or forms, mix, short or long), you will be probably limited to 200/300 users per agent.

  I'm trying to get my head around how would you use Data Guard with E - Business Suite.

  I know that you can use only physical standby with EBS, however I have a few basic questions about specific values < SETTING > and how they are treated by a standby.

  Given that the standby and primary servers will have different host names and that generally there are < FRAME > specific values that include the hostname, where they will have to change on the standby server, both from the point of view of the battery backup Apps and within the standby database itself, I wondered how it would happen.

  Usually, EBS cloning process would change the < FRAME > target settings in the target apps stack and the target database (for example, parameters such as FND_NODES etc.).

  Q1. However I do not know how the process of cloning E - Biz would fit with a database of the day before?

  Q2. As the standby database won't even be in an open State, I don't know yet how you would apply a party any of the cloning process to a database of pending to the target?

  Q3. Even if you were able to change on the eve of the database to reflect the < FRAME > from backup server, it would mean surely it was more a physical copy of the primary database, that's why it would be more a day before.

  All a bit confusing - any clarification appreciated

  Yes it is possible. One option is to use DNS (Domain Name) server aliases.

  Sorry, but you can't permantely delete IE (I wish we could) beacause its part of the core of the Windows operating system.

  I have this same issue and check the settings of datasouces/jndi in weblogic, I had an error with my jdbc url that prevents the connection to start and then pool the jndi was created.
