E6540 screen: is it possible to switch to a higher resolution?

the current machine has 1366 x 768

I'm looking at the replacement with 1920 x 1080 screen

will it work?  I have to do something special?

Calibration is that part of the question - the rest is compatibility.  You can't just drag in a screen size - books are coded in the BIOS to work with the screens that they ship factory.

You can check your system specs (support.dell.com; the use of the service tag)-, compose Dell spare parts - or a third party such as parts - People.com Dell dealer.  You can upgrade but you have to know what you have in the system now to turn out to vote on the parts that you will need.

    Hi all

It is possible to switch between mode 'file separate globals' to 'share the same globals file mode' during the test run.

Or there is another option to use variables separated and shared at the same time for 2 parallel Sockets (ParallelModel.seq).

To resolve this issue, follow these steps. NOTE: If you rely on access to a Novell network and need the Client Service for Netware or the Novell Client, you cannot use the home screen or fast Windows XP user switching features.

      http://support.Novell.com (http://support.novell.com/)
    2. If you are using the classic view in Control Panel, double-click network connections. If you are using the category view, click on network connections and Internetand then click on network connections.
    3. Right-click each connection that you have, and then click Properties each time.
    4. Under the tab general in each Local network connection, select the Client Service for Netware, and then click Uninstall.
    5. In the Dial-up connection properties dialog box, click the Networking tab, highlight the Client Service for Netwareand then click Uninstall.
    6. Restart the computer.
    7. Open Control Panel, and then double-click user accounts.
    8. Under pick a task..., click on change the way users log on or off the power.

  • Windows Explorer window layout: it is possible to switch the (swap) the location of the details pane and preview pane?

Is it possible to switch the (swap) the location of the details pane and preview pane?

Unfortunately, no.  The flaps are selected to where they are (well, actually the details pane can be moved from the top to the bottom:http://www.askvg.com/how-to-move-show-details-pane-at-top-in-windows-vista-explorer/).  Otherwise, they can be re-siized but they cannot be moved to a different location or rearranged (except as noted above).  The preview pane cannot be moved at all - just resized (and it can certainly be exchanged with the details or any other component).  These features settings are not integrated in Vista.

    I'm sorry.

    Good luck!

I have photoshop related to my laptop, but I want to be able to use it on my PC, do I have to buy a second download of photoshop too, or is it possible to switch my PC instead?

    Hi gaxi,.

If you have the creative cloud subscription, you just download Photoshop on your PC to begin as a single subscription includes the activation on both machines.

Here is the link to download: Photo editing software | Download the free trial version Photoshop CC

You must click on connect and then download.

This would download the creative cloud Setup file you need to run and sign with your Adobe ID

    Kind regards

I would like to install my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5. on my new laptop (Mac), unfortunately, this is the version for Windows. Should I me is it possible to switch from Windows to Mac?

You must upgrade to CS6 in the platform. Refer to this:

Exchange a product for a different version of the language or platform

    Creative Suite 6

    Mylenium

  • Always possible to switch between the languages?

Yesterday, I myself received a multilingual for CC membership in order to be able to switch between languages in Photoshop CC 2014.

I was told there is no possibility to switch between languages without uninstalling and re - install photoshop (after the change of the language of application of CC).

Is this correct? Or is there a way to switch between the languages easier?

In fact what you are doing are double, install the language pack for the app to creative cloud, then open Photoshop, preferences in > Interface > INTERFACE language, select the newly installed language and restart Photoshop.

This Visual guide should explain it: Photoshop CC / bad INTERFACE language / how to change? Adobe Community

The creative cloud 'Préférences' office by clicking on the gear in the top icon on the right. Then click the App tab in the preferences to see and choose your language. Photoshop will then have a button 'Install' or 'try '. Click it, wait for the installation to complete. Close the preferences.

Do the same for each language that you want. Once installed, they will be in the Photoshop UI language list. Simply select and restart.

  • Is it possible to switch from an existing version of Creative Cloud Windows to iMac?

    Hello

I would order Clod Creative inkl. Lightroom and Photoshop for 9.99 per month. I am currently using a Windows 8 machine, but about 5 months, I turn to the iMac.

It will be possible to switch or do I need a new/second contract?

As long as the Mac corresponds to the system requirements, you can use your Cloud software on it.  With a cloud subscription, you can have two machines with working facilities and they can use one or the other or both platforms.

  • Replace the screen for one with a higher resolution on Satellite P850-12Z

    Hi all

I read a lot on the internet about the replacement of the screen on computers laptop toshiba and also I saw a video on [how to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P855 | http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ncz3ZaI2I-s].

Is it possible to replace the screen for a Toshiba Satellite P850 12Z (original: 15.6"@1366x768) to another screen with a higher resolution (say: 15.6"@1920x1080 or 15.6"@1600x900)?

I'm sure that the graphics card is able to function perfectly with this screen (nVidia GeForce GT630M 2048 MB dedicated) and also I read a lot on laptop screen replacement, and I know that this screen has a connector 40 pin and it is an LED Panel, so I won't have to worry about the ups.

I found several screens (15.6"@1920x1080) who say they are compatible with Toshiba, but I wan't to make sure a higher resolution Panel replacement is possible.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Exchange of the display is not supported by Toshiba, so I don't think that someone here can help you with this.
I assume that Toshiba offers multiple views for this model of laptop. Only seller is different but resolution 1366 x 768 is always the same as on the original laptop specification.

You can try to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help. If someone can help you with that service of Toshiba. They have access to the database of Toshiba and can possibly tell if another view is usable on your machine.

    All this is quite complicated.

  • Does anyone else have bad WiFi reception on 15 mid-2012 "MBP with screen high resolution?"

Tried a new card from the airport, no difference. The WiFi reception is half, at best, of any other Mac. Get my wife of twice the reception of mid-2010. Like the hundreds of other Apple devices I have my mini iPhone and iPad Pro service.

Is there something on the antennas in this screen? It's in this way that I bought it. Madding simply as a tech. At least I know if my laptop can connect to WiFi, just about anything can.

I7 2.7 mid-2012 with 1 GB of VRAM and view high resolution.

Hold down the Option key while you click on the wireless icon in the menu bar. This will display a number of important parameters on the performance of a Wi - Fi connection. a little, it will look like this:

What values show you for Mode PHY and channel?

What CISOS or the signal strength? How far from your router when you measure this?

What tx rate or rate of transmit?

very important and how many other networks do you see listed?
