  So disappointed with the failure of Adobe to fix the incompatibility of fonts and menu icon in Photoshop for screens high resolution.  I have complained about this for two years (at the time of CS6) and groups of users across the web are filled with like complaints.

  Now, even with a new CC 2015 and 10 Windows, the problem is still not resolved.  The screen PS have either pt 7 labels on microscopic icons or 30% of the screen real estate is taken by the resolution of the user interface of 200% option.   I would give all the updates of CC 2015 for the solution to this problem which makes use of stressful and frustrating PS instead of pleasure, as it should be.

  There is nothing that talent Adobe cannot fix.  You can solve the problem, if you care about. Obviously, whatever your development systems, you don't live with this problem or you would have solved it.

  I just bought a new Yoga 2 Pro with a 13.3 "beautiful QHD display + (3200 x 1800). I've been moving all of my programs over my old computer and when I got to Premiere Elements I got a nasty shock as it does not support the high resolution and is pretty much unusable:

  What you encountered with first 10 items on your Yoga 2 Pro with 3200 x 1800 pixels display should not be a surprise. Nothing new here.  It has a long history which covers several versions including the latest version 12. The following information online is one of the many

  Adobe does not have what he calls Adobe feature request/Bug Forum for users to make their voices heard, and many claim that it influences the choice of Adobe.

  But this has been a known problem going back several versions and extending to the current version. Does that mean there is no hope in all 13 items first, which was expected to be released in September/October 2014? No one knows but Adobe.

• CC of Photoshop on a screen high resolution on Windows 8.1

  I use a new Lenovo Yoga 2. The native resolution is 3200 x 1800. Most Windows applications use the scale to expand the menus and other aspects of their user interface. However, Photoshop CC is virtually unusable in this resolution because it does not honor the scaling. I have to put the resolution up to 1600 x 900 before launching Photoshop CC. Extremenly inconvenient.

  Does anyone else have this problem under Windows?

  Adobe has provided an answer in another thread on this forum this week that indicated that the problem is with the unavailability of Microsoft APIs necessary, and nothing to do with perceived favouritism Mac vs Windows.

  I recall, resolution independence code also partially exist very long in advance on Mac but was not fully usable for several versions of Mac OS X; apparently the implementation of screens Retina forced Apple to finally finish the job. So it was not a simple switch to throw on the side Mac either.

  I just upgraded a HD display on a screen of 4K resolution.  Lightroom seems to be problems with the scale of the progress bar.  A picture is worth a thousand words!

  No idea how to solve this problem?  I use LR CC last updated on Windows 10 Home 64 (fully up-to-date as well) on a model of Dell XPS 15 (9550).

  I don't have a 4K monitor to test with, but try an another zoom size: police in your display settings, at least smaller.  It seems that the position of the progress bar is not be adjusted properly.  Perhaps another zoom would operate.

• Printing problems (not shipping) a JPEG high resolution Windows 7 64-bit?

  I have looked for similar problems, but did not find in the forums.

  When I try to print a JPG file from printing in LR 3.6 (and also tried with 3.5) module, it does not always recognize the resolution settings.   Most of the time (and I don't see what makes the difference) it prints at a resolution of 96 DPI JPG regardless of what setting I use for resolution.

  It happens to someone else?

  As I posted this, I researched and found several known LR instructors (for example, Victoria B, Queen of Lightroom and others), that it is a documented bug in LR3.

  I agree that it came when I upgraded to LR3.6 on 64-bit Windows.

  The good news is that it is only a problem of labelling: it gives an account of 96 DPI, but is it really higher.   If you do the calculation of the size of the file and the dimensions, this is the correct resolution.
