  Hi everyone, I just started to use Edge animate and completed my project. My deliverable final I'm looking for is an animated gif with all that it contains.  Edge can do this? I think I'm going to blow the mind of my provider, if I try to send them a file HTML, Javascript and images all separately.  Is there a way to export a single file?  If this is not the case, can I import my file Edge animate in another Adobe app where I could do?  Thank you.

  Animate publishes in HTML only, so no you can't export a gif file. For your customer, have you thought to upload your project to a web server and send the link?

• Uninstall the edge HELL Animation Preview

  Hi, I am trying uninstall edge overview of Animation.  It's not in my PC regisntry, there are no options or uninstall files.  There is no record of edge, but still I can not install the NEW application of edge animate.

  I don't want to use the CS cleanup tool, because I do not want to uninstall CS5.5 and CS6 and all their preferences and their respective updates.

  Please Adobe, fix this please, many people are facing this issue.  Please modify the installer, or give us a better tool to solve this problem.

  I spent hours trying to solve this problem.  What is the point of being a member of cloud and try your software, if we can not install future versions that we paid for?

  UPDATE: I tried the Creative Suite cleanup tool and if you choose Creative cloud in the first menu, it gives you the ability to remove the edge overview of Animation.

  I had set it to "allow a user interaction" which is what was causing the problem. I have deselected that option and choose 'auto play '. Now I can see the animation.

  The poster image still appears for a brief second, then disappears when the animation begins. Only, I intend to distribute with iOS, so I don't think I need the image of the poster at all.

I consolidated and moved the PCF files to the external drive, but the model came not during. Just the red screen with exclamation point. I guess it's a problem of linking somehow, but have been pulling my hair out trying to figure how to recover the text. Any thoughts? Thank you.

  Animation models are separated from the material FCPX, effects and patterns. Look in your user/films/Motion models folder. You can copy it to the external hard drive, but it will need added to the model Motion record the new hosts. You will also need the fonts used.

  I created a simple animation of adobe edge animate and it imported in dreamweaver. I imported using pretty much every variation I can think. I imported without scale sensitive to begin with it and there is no way to force the animation to scale based on the width/height parameters. When I try it decreases the window and add annoying little boxes. When I add the sensitive to the animation function, it is not made in dreamweaver when imported, however the empty box where the animation should be evolve properly, but the content will not be load.i have done my due diligence by ensuring that it doesn't is not another post which can solve this problem. I've looked everywhere and it seems that my problem is unique.i saw edge animate animations being nationally within dreamweaver, so I know it works. I would very much apreciate any help that could be given.im do not know what information to include then please let me know what information would be required to solve this problem.

I love the trajectories and the edge animate really brings entertainment at your finger tips for web designers.

  I would also like to hear what others think of "workflow" this fluid for windows software.

  Hi, I'm going to try the same thing and just figured out how to get this working. When you publish your composition of edge animate what do following:

  • Publication for the Web and make sure that the checkbox options are deselected.
  • When you move your files published in your VS solution, make sure that you copy the folder "edge_includes" with all other assets.
  • Open the composition of your edge HTML file and copy the script to run Adobe Edge and the
    codes in the VS Project HTML file between the head and body tags respectively.

  That should do it!

  Thanks for the comments. You can use jQuery to put the hand in of the SVG DOM as well. Here's an example of my next side project animate Cookbook (will be published shortly on EdgeDocks.com). It shows an interactive map of the United States.

  It's basically simple jQuery with a context (the context of the SVG document).

  You can use something like this to access nodes (for example the path) in your animated model:

  $("path",_svgDocument).css ("fill", "#770000");    changes the color of all THE nodes in the path

  $("#some_id",_svgDocument).css ("fill", "#770000");    changes the color of a specific id
