Editing photos in my pictures.

I lost the toolbar in my pictures that allows me to reframe, balance, resize, correct (x degrees rotation).  It has been replaced by a very limited set of options along the base of the page.  How can I return the toolbar?

You are welcome and thank you for the comments.

Yes but it depends on no doubt what application you use photo editing I guess. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and I can edit directly on the map of the camera if I want and download images to the iMac or elsewhere. I just did as a test on the card from the camera, but normally I upload the images on my desktop first and then go from there.
