  You can synchronize files using Sync Center if you have a mobile device that supports this feature of Windows. However, Sync Center is designed primarily to synchronize files with a server on your network, rather than with a camera.

• Synchronize files on two windows 7 computers Home premium using sync center

  I have a desktop and a laptop running windows 7 Home premium and I would like to synchronize the files using Sync Center.  I made them members of a homegroup and can share files manually, but it tells me that "there is no sync partnerships that can be installed on this computer" when I try to use Sync Center.  Is it possible to use Sync Center to automatically share files on a home network?

  I have a laptop (Compaq 8440) running Windows Vista Enterprise (not yet upgraded to SP1).  I have a shared folder mapped to the N: drive on my laptop.  This shared folder is located on a computer on my home network.  Every day, I move my laptop between my home network (wireless) and my work network (cable intranet).

  I scored a subfolder in the shared folder available offline.  It worked for about two weeks, but now when I try to synchronize with the shared folder offline files, Sync Center has constantly "waiting for synchronization" status  He never goes out with synchronization, regardless how long wait.

  I tried clicking "stop"button in Sync Center, but this does not prevent the synchronization.  I do not see error messages or the situation in Sync Center.

  I tried to restart the laptop, but nothing helped.  I tried to disable/reactivate the wireless connection, but nothing helped.  I can connect to the shared folder and discovers the other directories that are not 'available offline", is not a connectivity problem.

• Where does Sync Center store my files synchronized locally?

  I'm using Sync Center to sync a folder network for my laptop, but there is nothing in the Sync Center we will point me to where I want the synchronized files will be placed.  Can you let me know the following:

  1. How to tell Sync Center where I want the files located
  2. Where Sync Center, place the synchronized files be default
  3. Once that my files are synchronized (10 GB) can move their new?

  Normally the sync cache is c:\windows\csc

  I was able to change the location by using the following steps:

• How can I recover the files deleted by Sync Center? I created files while offline connection, then when I am connected once again, they were deleted from my computer.

  I keep files synced between my laptop and our server using under Windows Sync Center.  Normally, this works very well.

  However, recently I did a lot of work so that offline and saved these files in the server folder synchronized (while offline).  I came back and unfortunately the entire folder that I had been synchronization had been moved and windows thought all my new files should be deleted and erased all!   How to make a comeback?

  They are not in my trash.  My guess is that they are locked in a temporary file.

  Let us check if you have the folder (offline) is located here.
  1. open the control panel (all items view), and click the Sync Center icon.
  2. in the left pane, click Manage Offline files.
  3. on the general tab, click the view your offline files.
  4. you will now be in your offline files folder. Open the folder to the location you want to see these files available offline.
  5. for example, select the computers and a computer network available. You will now see the available offline folders and their files offline in them.

  If you work with offline files in different folders, you can see all the of them without having to open each file individually. Here's how to view all your files in one place offline:
  1. open offline files by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type and then offline files in the results list, click on manage offline files.
  2. on the general tab, click view your offline files.

  If you still can't find the brand of folder that you have enough disk space for offline files.
  And you can also view the folder on the server if it is updated with the latest files. because when you start windows updates the record with the most recent files.

If you have set up a partnership of synchronization for synchronizing files in two different places (for example, between a computer and a mobile device), Sync Center will keep the same set of files in both places. If you add or update a file in one location, Sync Center also will add or update it in the other location. Similarly, if you delete a file in one location, Sync Center will delete it from the other location.

  1. Click the button start .

  2. In the search box, type command prompt.

  3. In the list of results, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  4. In the elevated command prompt, type:

     Add reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Csc\Parameters FormatDatabase /t REG_DWORD /d 1 f v

  5. (It's a line...) and press ENTER.
  6. Close the command prompt.
  7. Check your hard drive space.
  8. Restart the computer.
  9. Reconnect.
  10. Check your hard drive space.

  In society, we have here a folder on the network that is used and accessible in only 1 employee. This employee is a mobile profile, so, sometimes she works at home and at the office.

  To help in its work, we allow Sync Center, a partnership between the folder on the network, available in offline mode.

  But do not know why, whenever the change of user one sheet, Excel prints the error: "the xxx file is in use by the user xxx. Access denied. "

  This error started after that we have activated Sync Center.

• Windows 7 Sync Center *. TMP files, causing conflicts that need manual resolution when you work online

  I have the files offline of windows 7.  When online and a user opens and saves a file ms office puts Windows one. TMP file in the file sharing and syncing it becomes a conflict that needs a manual resolution.

  Is it possible to have Sync Center automatically fix these problems?  Avoid any conflict because a user has access to the file online.

  What happens is that the real files are in the cache of the local computer and save just the nightly backups the *. TMP files.

• Sync (offline files) attempt to synchronize files/folders randomly Center

  Hi all

  I have a very strange problem with my Windows 7 (Professional) Sync Center.

  I am an administrator of our company network (SBS, 2011). We are together to redirect 'My Documents' and 'make available offline' my documents.

  For some reason, my computer still seems to fail with an "Access denied" message for a folder 'My Documents' to other users on the network. This morning he tried to synchronize user x "My Documents" folder on the server, yesterday he tried to synchronize user there I don't understand what is happening.

  Point 1 – I didn't choose the "Make available offline" option on these issues

  Point 2 - even if I had 1 point because I have full access to these files even when (as an administrator) then why would he say 'access denied '.

  Trying to study, I found no easy way to get a list of all the files that the system tries to synchronize. If I find out the details Centre partnership in sync, I have to select each file.

  Can anyone advise on the best way to investigate this issue futher?

• I keep losing the line at the top of the page which includes "file, edit view, bookmarks, history, etc." I can get it by pressing lt + F8 but it goes again when I press one another key.how can I restore it permanently

  Press the Alt key to display the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

  Please note that Firefox has a built-in editor called Notepad (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) as part of the developer of the tools that you can use to edit files, including HTML files.

This allows you to access copies of the files on your network even when your computer is not connected to the network. Sync Center can tell you if the files synced successfully or if there are any warnings or errors in synchronization.
