• Pe10: Clicking on the Transitions will result in failure

  Sometimes when I click on Edition-> button Transitions, it blocks the program and Windows reports that it stopped working and the attempts to find a solution. Other times it says "Loading"... "basically forever (I waited minutes).

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 on a laptop with 4 GB of RAM and a lot of free disk space

  Should I try put it back? If so, how? I downloaded and it is not any media.

• Limited number of transitions?

  Hello, I just tried to add a 5th transition and I do not see the transition... all I see is a red line at the top of the timeline where I expect the transition to be. I can't change the length of the transition at all... that makes me wonder is there a limited number of transistions that I can use? Why I can't edit this transition, but I could modify the four previous transitions... any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I'm glad that you found the problem. Sometimes the scroll bars can rather be lost. I lose a little more, and I should know exactly where to look.

  With respect to the limitation of Transitions, the answer is NO, there is no limit. It was to help someone, who finds the thread later.

  Before, I had 100 + Transitions and a PrPro project, more than 3,000 people.

• Cannot change the video transition duration by default in PRE7 project

  I couldn't find the solution to the following problem. In one of my first items 7 projects, suddenly the duration of the video transition default password 30 frames to 3 images. After insertion of the transition long of 3 images, I can adjust (expansion or contraction) in the timeline panel, modify the duration through the dialog box "Edit the Transition", but there is no way I can change the default duration. I can change the value in the Edit > Preferences > general dialog box, but it has no effect on the actual duration. This is true for all transitions. On the other hand, the other projects (I checked a few of them), also a new project to work properly: in them, the default duration is 30 frames, and I can put it in the Properties dialog box to another value. So, this problem seems to be the specific project. I hope someone can help me, so I don't have to redo that particular project. Thanks in advance, Laci.

  When you have selected your still and used the command of speed/duration, do not forget to check the option 'Edit Ripple, Shifting trailing Clips' in Control Panel. That will remove any empty what space between clips that would be otherwise generated to reduce the duration of your sequences.

  Yes, although there are two preliminary steps. First of all, in the effect controls panel, click the button of the flyout (this stack of pancakes with the little downward arrow) or go in Edition > Preferences > general and select the default Transition duration option and change to the desired option. Secondly, in the effect controls panel, select the transition you want and right click and select "Set selected as Default Transition".

  Now, select your clips/still images in the timeline panel and go to the sequence > apply Transitions to the selection by default; the passage you have just configured will apply to all of your clips. Note that, by default, this will add audio transitions as well, if you use combined video/audio clips (probably not a problem in your case that you use still images), but you can hold down the ALT key to select just the video or only the portions audio your clips, if you want only a single transition type or the other. You can also temporarily block tracks where you don't want transitions before using the command.

  Also, given that you work with still images, you don't have to worry about the handles; If you import a still in the first, even if it lasts only a single image, you have an indefinite/infinite amount of images to use for editing and transition. Audio/video clips are a different story, of course...

• CS6 Error PGC

  PGC 'Chapters' there is an error in 00:01:21:07.

  The flow of data in this file is too high for the DVD. You must replace the file with one of a lower rate. -PGC Info name = chapters, Ref = Bpgc, time = 00:01:21:07

  "Chapters" are a menu, not a timeline. The background for the animated menu is 01:04:23, the problem must be the transitions. Unless I remove them, I get:

  PGC 'Chapters' there is an error in 00:01:03:18.

  So the problem is the video/audio background. Except, if I remove that, the error moves to 00:00:00:12.

  If I use the audio and video from bottom in a timeline in a different project, it is fine. If this is clearly not the problem.

  So I properly... eliminated all possible causes of the error.

  What is going on?

  I dropped the bitrate video max to 8 (a 9) and audio bitrate to 192. Get this:

  Removal of all transitions allows for a generation. So they are the issue, but I have no idea why.

  EDIT: Encoding transitions as MPGs with audio PCM, instead of Dolby Digital, works. Then... the exact opposite of most of the questions yet, I actually had to do it transcodes them instead of do not force.

  I have a problem with a transitional value, I replace the get of a transitional method by changing getAttributeValue() {...} in the display RowImpl object class because I want that transitional to depend on another attribute when refresh or back to the page, but don't leave me not to change this value by default if I want to.

  I do it because I need to insert some values through this transitional inputtext but commit when data if I return to that page the transitional field is empty and I want to complete that transition with the values me to commit in the other column through this transitional and it work but if I want to change this value to set another always get back to me the same old value.

  I've done it before in another example, I did and it worked, but now does not work. I implement something like this before in a master/detail page and has worked, I could edit this transitional and set another value and when to refresh the page the get method in rowImpl returned the new value, but now I can't change it.

  I use JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0.

  A method that has worked well. This method enter the transition if I go back to the page and I was able to change the value, if I want on the field.

• Strange behavior when adding clips

  I trasnferred some videos from my camcorder (sony) by using the option 'get media' first Elements 7. When I the add to the timeline (one by one or all at the same time) as a single clip of space occupied, so I can't edit the transitions, effects or whatever. I don't know if its related but the image of the clip in the timeline has an icon in the upper right corner, it looks like a pair of blue screens superimposed on each other. I also tried right-clicking, but none of these options are available.

  Any idea?  Thanks in advance!

  Are these clips from an AVCHD camcorder? If so, you need to use the correct project preset.

• Transition from basic editing Question!

  I have one currently using the "Slide" transition on a title in my video. However, the transition moves only from left to right. How do I reverse the direction of transition? I want the next title in the video from left to right and leave the video in the sense that it comes.

  I currently have an multi-folio application that I would come down to a single application of folio. We have cancelled our Professional Edition (2 days) and are now part of the CC. I just want to transfer what we currently have in a single folio. What are the steps I need to take to do this?

  Make sure all your items are in a folio. Create a simple editing application using the same mobileprovision files used to build the previous application (if they have expired, re-create them for the same ID App). The application of simple editing as a new version of the existing application.

  You can override the method isAttributeUpdateable() of the viewRowImpl.
  There, you can check the role and return true or false to the current attribute.

• 10.1.1 iMovie crashes while editing

  Hello!

  I tried to edit my AVCHD (103 clips, 30 minutes) video clips and iMovie crashes all the time. The error message on the Console is "iMovie: error AVF: ability to Perf check failed: 0xe00002bc"and something like"..". otherwise taken iMovie causing excessive Awakenings... »

  What can I do?

  I did this kind of work with iMovie several times without crashing.

  My operating system is Yosemite 10.10.5

  This error seems to be similar to the 50 error and a mistake is made. This indicates in general media corruption or it could be a corruption of transition/title. Not easy to solve, you can extend the chronology and scan slowly clips to see if something strange happens. Another approach is to fork the project, remove half of it and see if that will export. Continue to iterate this process until you find the corruption. Not funny, but I've not seen any other suggestions.

• Full screen YouTube Lag of Transition

  so I use my macbook for many different reasons YouTube, Editing, school. but when I Watch youtube videos and I want to watch in full screen and when you click on the option full screen it zoomed in normally but the screen freezes and the next image is the full screen. the audio from the video plays during the transition, but the video freezes like 5 seconds then return to normal. I did another post on this topic, but the solution was only a few days. I erase the data from the Web site: Safari preferences > privacy > remove data from the Web site. (solution for a few days) y at - it something wrong with my software? Material? material, not because I did the verification of hardware (d before the ringtone to start command) and I know that I have no error with my flash drive. So what is the problem? OS X? also is it normal for a macbook to erase data to the Web site every day?

  My computer used to do the same thing, the difficulty was simple enough for me. Try and force leave safari and it should fix the problem, it fixed my problem, hopefully, it sets your. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

• time of transition iMovie does not change

  I read the questions posted on iMovie and the change of the time of transition.   I google the topic and read the messages and watched youtube videos.    BUT - I STILL CAN'T iMovie to edit the duration of transitions.   My clips definitely have more than enough time for them to handle 2-3 second transition but no matter what I do the transition goes back to 1 second.          Maybe someone has a suggestion for me?

  iMovie can be inconsistent at times about the time of transition. Supposedly in 10.1.2 you can double-click on the transition and a window will appear where you can set the time. I found it does not always take. Another way that seems to work is to make a selection in the browser before you add the clip to the timeline, leaving a few seconds on each end of the clamp. One who still works for me is to use the precision Editor. Right-click on the transition and the select precision Editor. In the editor, you can adjust the time of transition.

• How to repair FCPX 4 K edition freezes the system

  PLEAS HELP!

  Only when 4 K editing until the addition of transition, red square pixels appear throughout the system and the screen freezes. Now, whenever I try to edit it, it does the same thing.

  Restart the system and all the programs work well, even to save the system for more than 10 hours without problem. As long as I'm not in FCPX. It seems to be a problem of overflow REM edition 4K. Technical support advised to hold command + Option + P + R to reset NVREM. It did not help.

  Someone please help! I'm almost done with my slide show of 4K 2 hours, but can not continue to finish.
