EJB versioning information

I write a report on the management of EJB 3.1 versions, but cannot find information more precise on the subject more than ' its administered by JNDI and is rarely used "or it is more than 5 years.

Does anyone have directions to a more accurate source and date information of the EJB 3.1 handling versioning? Or why there is so little information on this subject.

Sorry to be unclear.

Deployment of components of version control. To manage dependencies between objects.

Here it is detailed how it's done in .net for example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/51ket42z%28v=VS.100%29.aspx

Versioning class is a basic Java feature and should not be discussed with EJB.
See the specifications of the JVM for more information on class versioning. She has actually nothing to do with Java, the language.

  • target setting / version information

    Hello

    When a new version of a software I update usually "version info" dialog box in the settings of the target. I just realized that these settings are different for the debug and release mode... Why is it so? We will distribute the release, not the debug version, so why are there two separate inputs must maintain? In general, I use the debug mode, and only at the end did I move to relase mode. So in general I adapt the settings in debug mode (year, major/minor version number) - so far I guess that's the version information in what concerns the trigger mode, but not the same...

    Wolfgang

    (1) well, the idea was that in most cases the binary debug version is not important, whereby users can leave it by default (1.0.0.0). But if someone cares about the version then they can put to something else, or enable auto-increment, for example.

    If you care about the version of the binary of debugging, you can always go ahead and put them both the same value, initially. You can enable the auto-increment in both cases, and each configuration increment independently, which shouldn't be a problem. In this way, you don't have to remember to change it whenever you start to build release versions.

    You're right about the 'Configurations' not allowing you to have different values for 32 and 64 bit. I guess that in this case, you just need to go in this dialog twice. For both the 32-bit version of config (assuming you have only one of them) and once for the 64-bit version of config (assuming you have only one of them). Since you don't care the debug versions, then you can leave the default value.

    (2) preview isn't possible, because you must have a specific configuration selected in order to obtain an overview of the variables subsitutions. For example, the values of the variables arch % and rel_dbg % dependent on configuration, so it is not sensible for an overview when you do not have a specific configuration selected.

    The gradation of the option values is also intentional. It is a conventional way of indicating that some options have different values when you change more than one object. For example, when you change two digital controls in the user interface editor, and they have different labels, then the dialog box will show you the label of one of the controls, but it it darkens. This does not mean that you can not change it. You can change it, and everything that you change to apply for both controls, or, in this case, all configurations. It's fair to say that the dialog box can not show you all the values.

    In fact, looking at this new dialog box, I found a bug and it's that checks the Version of the file and the Version of the product do not seem to be dimming their values, even when they are different. Who should also to be grayed out, just as other controls in this dialog box.

  • EPMA Version information

    Hello

    When you are connected to the workspace, you can click on the Help menu and launch the about box. Form there you can check the version information for the main elements of your deployment of hyperion.

    I applied a few technically tasks are EPMA updates, but I don't see any change in the version information. I know which files have been updated by the patches, but I can't be sure from the version information. Can someone tell me where the version information?

    I made an assumption that it might be dependent on HyS9BPMA_ProcessManager.exe. If anyone can check this?

    Kind regards

    Shehzad

    Hello

    With most of the products such as planning when a patch is available, they update a properties file to include the version, for when you are going to help the subject that it displays the current version.
    Typical EPMA would be different, most of the patch with EPMA releases, but not all, they update a file called - dimension_server.exe
    If you right click on the file > properties > Version > File Version > 9.3.1.1.5.192 for example

  • There is lack of version information for libdb - 4.6.so?  Is how important it?

    I built and installed the version of database Oracle Berkeley 2.4.13 with all the patches published on Ubuntu Linux (64-bit version), using the flag b 64.

    The installation location is: /usr/local/Berkeley-2.3.14

    I set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH variable in my environment for:
        /usr/local/Berkeley-2.3.14/lib
    This environment variable is available for Apache 2, when it starts. For this reason, Apache 2 begins with a warning:
      apache2: /usr/local/BerkeleyDBXML-2.4.13/lib/libdb-4.6.so: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libaprutil-1.so.0)
    -What it means and it is important for me? Is it possible to make the information sought available to libaprutil - 1.so.0?

    Thank you

    Geoff Shuetrim

    Geoff,

    I am not sure, but some research on the net implies that there can be a mismatch of DB version with that provided in Apache, which bundles / uses a version of Berkeley DB. You can try this announcement on the forum of Berkeley DB. Someone can there be a more direct experience with it.

  • EA 4.1 display of version information in navigator slows down displaying the list of tables

    Hello

    I use DM with SVN version control.

    The table browser now displays the icon of overlay on the tables. Nice!

    The version number/log-in / user is not necessary. Maybe an option to display this information.

    In any case the most important question is: now, it takes too long to display the list of tables in the browser.

    Joop

    Hi Joop,

    The version number/log-in / user is not necessary. Maybe an option to display this information.

    Yes, there is an option - "preferences > Versioning > Subversion > General '-' use the navigator overlay State labels.

    The performance - we look at this problem.

  • Incorrect Version information that is listed on the Adobe Web Page

    Adobe Flash Player Distribution to Adobe Flash Player Distribution page. Adobe lists the current version as 21.0.0.240. The available downloads are for version 21.0.0.213 on the same page and I saw no announcement of a release from 21.0.0.213. Screen included. There was a statement that I'm not aware and web page links are bad? Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, this is the best choice I've had.

    Flash Error.jpg

    Hello

    The version number on the page has been restored to 21.0.0.213. You may need to clear the browser cache to view the updated content.

  • Confusion with version information (Windows 7)

    Hello

    I use the Windows 7 Flash Player applet in the Control Panel, it says:

    -ActiveX version 17.0.0.169

    -NPAPI version of the 18.0.0.209 module

    When I go to this page Adobe - Flash Player Internet Explorer 11, it is said that the 17,0,0,169 version is installed

    With Firefox, the same page tells me it's 18,0,0,209

    This page indicates that the latest version available is 18.0.0.209 for IE and Firefox, why is my version of IE 17.0.0.169?

    So what??? I have the latest version or not? I just downloaded and reinstalled the latest version of Adobe and restarted the browsers.

    It's so confusing, especially when we know that hackers find continually new vulnerabilities on Flash, and you're ready to be sure to have the latest version.

    I also wonder why Adobe use commas when identifying the version of the Flash system on their Web site. NEVER seen ANY software with commas in the version number. It seems a detail, but it shows the seriousness with which things are managed somehow to Adobe...

    Thank you.

    Hi 60438252,

    Internet Explorer uses ActiveX and Firefox plugins components. Since these are two different technologies, there are two different installers for each browser.  Since you have the latest version of Flash Player on Firefox, you will need to update Flash Player for Internet Explorer.  To install the version the most recent Internet Explorer go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer using Internet Explore to download the installer of Flash Player for Internet Explorer, and then proceed with the installation.  If you go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer with Firefox, you'll have the installer for Firefox not IE, so be sure to use IE not Firefox.

  • Error in versions information

    Is there a way to obtain the error details when running it in out (not debugger) verstions of Flash Player?

    Thank you

    Set compiler arguments ("swf" version

    For Flash Player 11.4 and earlier and AIR 3.4 and earlier versions, stack traces are available when the code is running in the debug version of Flash Player or the AIR Debug Launcher (ADL). In both non - debugger of these runtimes, this method returns null.

    for example: use flash player 11.6, the swf version is 19

    BTW, sdk3.5 cannot parse the swf version, it's a shame.

  • Best/Recommended way to record information in the Release version

    Hello

    I've searched around, but don't see any results on the issue yet. Then I would ask what is the best/recommended way to record Release version information?

    I use Momentics IDE 10.2. When I choose run or Debug, qDebug() & qWarning display information very well in the console of the IDE, but with "run" they don't show anything in the console. Tested on both Q10 & Simulator.

    Thank you

    Install your own messages QDebug Manager, do write to a file, for example newspapers newspaper. Then open a terminal on the device, navigate to the file and the type of your application:

    # tail -f logs/log

    to view the log file.

    Change your main.cpp along these lines:

    #include

    static FILE * logFile;

    void logger(QtMsgType type, const char * msg)
    {
        Q_UNUSED(type);
        std::fprintf(logFile, "%s\n", msg);
        std::fflush(logFile);
    }

    Q_DECL_EXPORT int main(int argc, char **argv)
    {
        logFile = fopen("logs/log", "a");
        qInstallMsgHandler(logger);
        Application app(argc, argv);

        // Create the Application UI object, this is where the main.qml file
        // is loaded and the application scene is set.
        new ApplicationUI(&app);

        // Enter the application main event loop.
        return Application::exec();
    }

    Note: the file will be closed by the operating system, more messages are seen if you don't shut it down at the bottom of the hand. Why? because c is destorying local variables (app) at the end of the main, and who calls the string whole qt of parent-child destructor for your class of application as well.

    You can open a command prompt, and then set the environment by using the SetDomainenv.cmd file with the domain in which you want to know the version.

    then run the following command:

    Java weblogic.version - verbose

    So, you can get the list of supported standards:

  • I have 2 Mozilla Firefox on my desktop. They are both version 41.0.2 - in my installation and delete I find only one. How can I delete one of them?

    I tried to update to Mozilla Firefox and I had another icon on my desktop. Now, I have Mozilla Firefox 2 and they are both Version 41.0.2. They are both exactly the same thing when I open the. I see only one on my add/remove program location so I won't delete it because I could delete them both. Can you help me?

    You can remove one of the office shortcuts if both point to the same firefox.exe in the same Firefox program folder.
    You can keep the one with the correct version information where the other is an older version of Firefox.
    Note that Firefox 42 will come out next week (Tuesday).
