El Capitan - how to uninstall Garageband?

Hello

I am a user of Logic Pro X and never use Garageband. In my view, there is an update for Garageband in Apps update, but do not want to waste space on my hard drive.

Can I easily remove Garageband by deleting it from the applications folder?

Thank you

Martin

OSX10.11.4

Yes, the removal of the application of Applications allows to uninstall it.

It is also contained in the folder/Library/Application Support / GarageBand.

The subfolder "Library of instruments" is shared with GarageBand, but you may want to remove the other folders - ChordTrainer, Learn to Play, Magic GarageBand, which require a lot of space.

I would like to keep a backup, just in case you can change your mind.
