    It looks like of course as evidence of a hard drive failing for me. Hard drives 2.5 "in the MacBook Pro tend to fail after 2-3 years. Judging by the date on your MacBook, I think that your time is up. Maybe try to find a different repair store. Looking for Service Center authorized Apple (https://locate.apple.com/).

    I suggest upgrading to an SSD and increasing your RAM too. Then you have the hardware to run the last OS X 10.11.

  • MacBook Pro Support - please help

    My MacBook Pro is in repairs since one and a half years. The problem is continuous Frost, blue and pink, fuzzy screen. Tech Center have already changed the card logic 4 times, keyboard, speakers, high & low Carter, battery and an optical drive in year 1. The last repair has been there a month where they replaced the logic board again, and now, the problems started again - freezing, pink/blue screen flashing while watching videos online, speed reduction (literally everything in slow-mo), fan operates at its maximum speed, and all this happens when only one or two browser windows open without any comprehensive process running on it. In addition, it was formatted several times over the past year. Whenever I have contact support they go through the same process again and again. Please let me know if there is any way I can communicate with upper management to find a solution, I'm really frustrated and tired with the product and the process. Any help would be appreciated.

    Dear Sir: we are only a user forum. Apple doesn't have much to do with us at all. That being said, you can do something. Contact Apple directly for help. Save all documentation and be polite and patient. IF you have Applecare you may be in luck. Apple CAN and MAY in its sole discretion will replace a Mac that had a lot of repairs and still does not work properly. The opinion I wrote CAN and in capital letters. This does mean that it is possible, but not 100% guaranteed. If you bought your MacBook pro with a credit card, your warranty may have been extended. Perhaps, it is covered by home insurance...

    Anyway, you have nothing to lose by trying... Have you tried to go to this place "Tech Center" and asking to speak to a Manager or supervisor?

  • I bought Creative Suite 5.5 in 2012 on disk. How I can install this on the new Macbook pro?

    My old Macbook Pro died this year, so I bought a new Macbook Pro without a hard drive.

    To install CS 5.5, I tried to copy the contents of the drive in an external USB HDD via another computer.

    When I try to start the installation, told me that 'the installer could not be initialized. Get Adobe Support Advisor to record the problem' (translated from Danish, then it may not correct).

    However Adobe Support Advisor is discontinued, so I can't follow these instructions.

    What would be the proper way to install it to a Macbook Pro without a hard drive?

    I bought the new model to Y480, new model, I mean the one with i7 3630.

    There i7-3630, 8 G RAM, GT650M 2 G and 1 TB HDD 5400r.

    I asked the customer service and they told me that the Y480 would be compatible with an mSATA SSD 32 GB.

    However, I did a lot of reading of threads and found we're talking about as high as mSATA SSD 128 GB.

    I am really confused about this.

    I plan to but an mSATA until I received the Y480 and now I don't know that we chose: 32 GB, 64 GB, or even more?

    Nobody knows with certainty on the compatible mSATA SSD to Y480?

    I'm afraid that 32 GB are not enough for Win7.

    I think that this virus - the main I think is trojan. BHO-keep coming back on my computer using System Restore.  Panel crashes every time I try to disable the system restore.  It crashes whenever I try to do anything in safe mode.  As mentioned, I can't get rid of it in the registry as it won't let me.  I have Microsoft Security databases, which doesn't quite work.  I have temp got rid of it with malwarebytes, more than once, but this virus so that perhaps others stay on my pc. I have Vista.

    I tried several analyzers and I don't know what to do if it won't let me get rid of it manually.  Also, he won't let not use my sidebar.  When I click on it anywhere it just makes a noise.  Could someone please help?  I'd be happy.

    I shoot with a professional 3 Ghost and wondering how to see 4 k on the mac (Macbook Pro retina 15', mi 2014) and love at first sight?  Do I need to calibrate the screen?  Or can someone tell me best practices for videographers again using Final Cut.  I know I have a lot to learn.  I just spent iMovie to Final Cut and that's just for real estate professionals.     I have a month old HP Officejet 8500 Pro, which suddenly give a paperjam error message.  There is no paper jam.  I spoke with HP Technical Support making long resets even blow the bowels to air without result.  It must be a simple mistake.  I saw it reported on other boards, but it seems that everyone is simply trading on their printers.  Not an option, like HP, in their infinite wisdom will not replace a defective unit overseas.

    I thought that there is a paper feed guide that hung above the paper tray.  It's hangin' is low... but maybe I was mistaken. If I tilt the printer back it will feed and eject a page, but not print.

    If someone at HP would be so likely to enlighten me I would willingly do what is necessary to take part, or whatever...

    Another problem with CS5 was the Bridge opens as a process in the background and must be closed in the taskbar > hidden icons before updating.

  • MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee

    Hi all

    end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

    My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

    My questions:

    • After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
    • What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?

    Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...

    I would appreciate any recommendations and links!

    -As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board

    -The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.

    -When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?
