• Drag / drop an element in horizontalList does not display correctly

  It seems that when I drag an item from a HorizontalList to another location within the same HorizonList, it does not display the images correctly. I have an itemRenderer that displays the thumbnail image of the item in my HorizontalList.  I have about half a dozen items in the list, and when I drag the sixth issue and move to the beginning of the list, the display looks as if the first and sixth items are activated, while in reality the dataProvider resulting table seems to have the right order, which means that the sixth element became the first element and the first item has become the second element and so on. Someone knows such behaviour and how to rectify this? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Ramesh

  In general, using creationComplete in a rendering engine will not work.  Try dataChange

• ? Photoshop elements 8 Organizer does not open on Windows Vista?

  I installed Photoshop Elements 8 on a Windows Vista computer and saved. The organizer has opened with thumbnails broken throughout and I couldn't update the thumbnails. So, I closed the organizer and opened it again, hoping it would clear up. Instead, the organizer would not open at all, and I was not able to open the organizer since.

  Despite several requests for Support, Technical Support could not help. They said to uninstall components and reinstall, but when I uninstalled it, the screen of the software disk says I must first disable my serial no throwing items 8 and will help > deactivate.

  However, when I launched 8 elements, a screen will appear with a choice of either a free trial or to enter my serial number. I have entered my serial number and got a red 'X', and it would not accept the serial number. Technical support says that there is nothing wrong with my serial No.

  Technical support then said to download the Evaluation Version. I did it, but could not open the trial either!

  Message:

  "The files currently in use. Some issues that needed to be updated are currently in use. »

  "The following applications use files that ORT should be updated by this Setup.

  Close these applications and click Retry to continue.

  Organizer - Photoshop Elements.

  So he thinks my organizer is open and using files, and it is not open. I can not open!

  I clicked on try AGAIN and got the same message.

  I clicked IGNORE and it was installing files, arrived almost at the end, said 'product registration', then said "roll back the action" and started to go backwards.

  I had uninstalled my Elements 7 software because I intend to use now 8 elements. I decided to reinstall 7 elements to use while I was dinking autour with version 8 and now it gave me the same message:

  the serial number is an error, or is already in use by someone else!

  Now I can't use either 7 or 8.

  Help! Does anyone know how to disable a serial No., when the software has already been uninstalled? Can it be done?

  The error message that you've shared below will come where say for some reason any Organizer.exe is still running in the Task Manager and you try to install the PES.

  If installation is back up to the end, then delete the cache.db which is located at the following location and try to install again. This step has fixed the problem for many users.

  C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe PCD\cache\cache.db

  Also, before trying to install PES 8 new, delete the files in the folder folder and then try again to install. Since then, the serial number is already checked as correct, that you shouldn't be running on these issues. If you are still not able to move forward after following instructions above, then please reply back and we can connect through internet session and I can try to look into your machine and see what all I can help you.

  Not only it did not work (none of my thousands of pictures are currently displaying thumbnails, making it very difficult to find anything), but this has messed up my custom appearance. I have not assumed that you know of a way to restore the settings that I've used since the first day (I widely changed all fonts and colors, in Classic view and did not easily any way to save these settings)?   When the problem with photos started to happen? If it has been recently you might want to try and see if you can do a system restore which will be
  resume your previous in point system in time.

  To use a system restore point, follow the steps in the KB article.

  I'd like to see if a clean boot would help to identify if a 3rd party program or software may interfere with your thumbnail view.

  You should be able to update CS6 ACR 8.3 so it shouldn't still question what deck you are in.

  I have a few thousand photos stored in several files. When I access folders to display the photos a lot of thumbnails are just gray boxes, while other images loading partially before becoming gray boxes themselves. When I double click on a gray box or a picture do not show a thumbnail image, I told myself that the I need to improve my Windows Photo Gallery. However, it seems to date.

  I searched the internet for weeks. Can anyone help please?

  Hey Gacartwright,

  I found a post by another user who had the same gray box problem you encounter. They were able to get their thumbnails back leaving the window upward all night (a long period of time). This allowed the system to compile again, the miniature database compensating for the problem.  Here's the link where I found another post.

• Photoshop elements 11 Organizer does not open because I have upgraded to Windows 10

  Since the upgrade to Windows 10, the organizer with Photoshop elements 11 will not be open.  I get a message that Direct Play must be installed, but it will not let me install.  I tried to run troubleshoot compatibility problems in the Control Panel, but I just got a message that a paid upgrade is available to make it compatible with the provider.  However, I can not even find what this update to buy it.

  You see an error if you choose to install DirectPlay. According to the Microsoft Directplay on Windows 10 - Microsoft community forum, it is deprecated in Windows 10. But this forum thread mentions a workaround to install it anyway. Please see if it's useful.

• Bar Menu 7 PES in the Organizer will not display correctly

  I "m going through a training video PSE 7.  The video shows the menu bar in the organizer just to the right of the small house.  My Organizer shows two > symbols in the heart of the region, with a list of menu items drop-down list.  I don't know what is happening, but it seems that the menu bar is maybe locked or something like that.  I searched using "menu bar" but can't find anything on how to get the rear bar.  Can someone point me in the right direction to get the menu bar back?

  As an asside... Are there any help within the program itself?  When I press F1 or click Help in the menu, I went to the Adobe web site.  Does this mean that if you are not connected to the internet (using a laptop without wifi access etc.) you do not have access to the help files?

• New page on the FF13.0 tab does not display thumbnails of the sites, only empty box but the site is mentioned.

  Upgrade to this version but the new page tab didn't save my most visited sites, as is the intention. Dragged my most used sites out there and working, but there is no thumbnail pictures or anything to show, just empty boxes with just below the site described as in my favorites.

  Vignettes on the subject: newtab page are generated from the cache, so if the page is not in the cache or otherwise cannot be rendered as a PNG image, you will get an empty box.
  
  Don't use no clear recent history allows to erase data when you close Firefox.
  
  If there is no history, you get a topic: newtab page with empty boxes.

• How to I can not display thumbnails of pictures in MY PICTURES as I used to be able to?

  I'm used to be able to see the photos of my images in the MY PICTURES folder.  I could put in place to see them in different sizes, titles, or content, etc...  Now I can see that the program logo, symbol of jpeg, etc...  I tried different settings and even change the viewers to program without success.  I suspect it's something simple but can't seem to understand.  Any help is very appreciated.

  Open your my pictures location, click on organize in the upper left corner, click folder and search options, click the view tab and (uncheck) superior, (always show icons and never miniatures), select apply and save.

  Return to your location of my pictures, change the display of the page on the top of the right side next to the question mark symbol, there is another symbol with a menu drop-down symbol, click it and select the medium or large icons options specified.

• Bridge CC (2015) do not display thumbnails TIF in Win 10

  I tried all the tricks in the book here. Current version of the bridge does not show TIF images in Win 10 was last updated.  On my MBPr, bridge display these files directly (although the question of 'split spaces' is still stupid on this machine).  So, what happens here?  The size of the file is set to 3000 MB (3 GB) just to make sure this isn't a problem. Cleared the cache completely.  No joy.

  Right click on the folder in question and change the options to "SHARE".

  You can copy the file in your images folder, but you can also mark any folder as a folder of type images, if you wish.  To do this, right-click the folder, and then click Properties.  Then click on the Customize tab.  You will see where it says "optimize this folder for:" with a customizable bar underneath.  Click on this bar and choose images.  Who should do it for you.

  I saw this discussion, but no response that helps.   I have CS4 and installed ACR 5.2 and 5.3 updates.  I moved the camera raw.8bi file for the bridge and photoshop formats.  Opens in Photoshop, but does not appear in the bridge.  Am I missing a step somewhere?  Any suggestions?

  The file of camera raw.8bi must be only in one place:

  Program Files Adobe Plug-Ins\CS4\File Formats

  and, before you put that there, all previous versions must be removed.

  And purge the Cache of bridge.

  Location for Vista 64-bit is different.
