Embed fonts with html text

Hello

Is it possible to embed fonts with text html to a text field.

TextField.htmlText = "this is a sample of code that < police ="xyz"> I use < / police > ';

Here xyz is not a comon policy. Help, please.

Thanx

Yes, use the textformat class and style setTextFormat or css.  or, you could add xyz to your library (new policy), incorporate the necessary characters, check export for actionscript and assign a class (for example, XYZ) and use:

var xyzFont: Font = new XYZ();

tf.htmlText = "This is an example of code I use"; "

    PDF pages can contain objects with different image resolutions. Therefore, when you have a replacement page, you must use pictures that are in a resolution comparable to the page that is replaced. This is a feature of the program that creates the replacement page. It is not something that you can control in Acrobat.

    It would not be a problem for graphs of type or a vector that have no resolution of the image.

  • fix my fonts on html page?

    My page includes some American Typewriter, but when I look with IE the letters are something else and even the spacing is off. Can I superimpose my AT police as well as my page so it will display correctly in any browser?

    American Typewriter isn't a typical police found on all systems.

    You must use a web win/mac secure family of fonts like this:

    H1 {}

    "American Typewriter", "Lucida Sans Typewriter", "Courier New", Courier, monospace;

    }

    Battery CSS Fonts: Web Safe and family of Web fonts with HTML and CSS code.

    Or incorporate Custom Web Fonts

  • TextEvent in HTML text not sent?

    Hello

    I have a problem with HTML text within a text component, where links are created using the < a href = "event: syntax."

    I created an event for the TextEvent listener, linkHandler, but the event seems to never go off when I click on a link.

    Any clue? Here is a code snippet:

    < mx:Script >
    <! [CDATA]

    flash.net import. *;
    import flash.text.TextField;
    import flash.events.TextEvent;

    private void init(event:Event):void
    {
    Add an event handler (listener) HTML text
    tandctext.addEventListener (TextEvent.LINK, linkHandler);
    }

    public void linkHandler(linkEvent:TextEvent): void {}
    {Switch (linkEvent.Text)}
    case "tandc":
    navigateToURL (new URLRequest (" http://"), "_blank");
    break;
    case 'limit ':
    navigateToURL (new URLRequest (" http://"), "_blank");
    }
    }

    []] >
    < / mx:Script >

    < mx:Text id = "tandctext" styleName = "conditionsgenerales" x = "10" y = "37" width = "331" height = "50" color = "black" fontStyle = "plain" fontSize = "10" >
    < mx:htmlText >
    <! [CDATA [it's a preview.] [[As such, there is a < a href = "event: tandc" > general conditions as well as some < /a > < a href = "event: limitations" > limits < /a >, you need to know.]] >
    < / mx:htmlText >
    < / mx:Text >

    See you soon,.
    Karl.

    Good,

    I found the idea.

    Instead use:

    private void init(event:Event):void
    {
    Add an event handler (listener) HTML text
    tandctext.addEventListener (TextEvent.LINK, linkHandler);
    }

    I just use the binding attribute in the tag text:

    And voila!

    I get my sent event!

  • Is it possible to disable text CSS and design with HTML only?

    I am designing the text html only IE: font, color, size. The only method I know is to highlight the text and then go to insert > Html > text objects. This method is tedious and time consuming.

    I don't no the arguments or reasons as to why I should be using CSS, I'm just looking for a solution to disable the design with HTML and CSS. I use Dreamweaver CS5.

    Thank you

    Paul

    The option to disable CSS has been removed from Dreamweaver CS4. CS5 is the same.

    If you have a strong need for the use of font tags, open the favorite category of the bar/panel insert, right click and select customize Favorites.

    In the dialog box that opens, select HTML in the menu of items available. At the bottom of the list, you can find fonts Tag Editor. Highlight it, and then click the double chevron to move it in the right panel. Click OK to insert the font tag editor in your Favorites.

    You can use tag editor of text fonts with font style tags.

    The alternative is to use the CSS inline styles that can be created using the menu rule target in the property inspector when on the left, the CSS button is selected.

    What problems are you having with the arrow? You go to Tools-> annotate-> arrow and an arrow appears. Then you can drag around the head and tail to make it to the desired location.

  • Problems with the HTML text and cutting!

    Hey everybody,

    This is my first post a lot! I have a very simple question but frustrating, I cut text in illustrator (object > slice > make), then to make this text in HTML (slice Options) text. Then I export my picture with other pictures behind this text using the 'Save for Web and devices' option to find that the "HTML" text has moved all art behind it!

    I have attached a picture of a very basic example of what is going on, as you can see all around this text has been moved, the text does not stay on top of the work behind it?

    screenshot.jpg

    I would appreciate any help on this problem, probably very easy to solve!

    Thank you very much!

    There is nothing "to"stay on top"- a slice is a slice and they are prepared automatically side by side. You can only assign a background color. I strongly suggest do you a little reading on HTML / CSS first. No offense, but you are using the wrong tool if you think that I could remotely anything like usable HTML code...

    Guestbook Flash cfform w / support emoticon?

    CFDocumenting the guestbook messages w / emoticons to FlashPaper and then pointing to the .swfs in the img tag works, in my particular case (although I'll have to work with the API FP2 to further customize). Currently I do not consider it a solution to the note in the LiveDocs, but rather of a boring/useless workaround. It is, in a way, a 'solution' to my question, but not the real solution I was hoping with these technologies.

  • Terrible results with Flash Text Engine

    I try to display some multiline with Flash Text Engine text boxes, but I get very uneven and ugly, spacing between characters.  Sometimes a single word seems to be two or more words, while at other times, the characters are almost superimposed.  To test this, I tried the example "Justifying the text" from here: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/ActionScript/3.0_ProgrammingAS3/WS0ADADB8F-9A0D-40aa-8170-374B 8B4B29CF.html

    Embed fonts makes the biggest difference, since we use our own engine in this case. We rely on the device fonts rendering system, if the results are different depending on the platform. Rendering of fonts Mac device is better than Windows, and better Windows with some fonts (such as Arial) than others (like the time).

  • Embed fonts

    I'm trying to embed fonts in an AIR application for the first time.

    That's what I tried:

    [Embed (source = "BRITISH. TTF", fontFamily ="BritanicEmbed ", mimeType =" application/x-do")]
    public var BritanicEmbed: Class;

    var textFormat:TextFormat = new TextFormat();
    textFormat.font = "BritanicEmbed";

    lblTitle = new Sun;
    lblTitle.format = textFormat;
    lblTitle.text = "Test";
    lblTitle.embedFonts = true;

    ... and that worked very well.

    But it was just a tester. The actual font that I need to use is a .otf font. (OpenType fonts)  When I try:

    [Embed (source = "TrajanPro-Regular", fontFamily = "TrajanProEmbed", mimeType = "application/x-font")]
    public var TrajanProEmbed: Class;

    ... running mxmlc gives:

    Error: exception during transcoding: font for alias 'TrajanProEmbed' with regular weight and style not found at:...

    Someone here got fonts OTF to integrate. (Note: I use the command line and mxmlc to compile my apps of the AIR, if that makes a difference)

    Thank you

    PS I also have a .ttc font (whatever it is) I need to use. Is this possible.

    Since the announcement, I came across:

    http://onlinefontconverter.com/

    By converting fonts I had in font .ttf, .otf and .ttc, I was able to nest them.

    The problem I have now is that the embedded fonts looks very bad.  I took a screenshot and zoomed in, and while it looks like they are smooth, they seem to always terrible.

    I was afraid that the onlinefontconverter tool was may be responsible, but if I open the fonts converted into Word, they look perfect in all sizes.

    So now I don't know what to do - I have no idea why the fonts would look terrible. (For reference, I use a font size of 44)

  • How can I change the color of the font with the Properties Inspector?

    Can we change the color of the font with the property inspector in Dreamweaver CS6?  How?

    I don't know if I be notified automatically when someone answers, and I won't be running back on this site everyday to check.  So if you have an answer for me, you would be kind enough to write me to [email protected]?  Thank you very much.

    Murray,

    Your suggestion has revealed a bit of information for me.  The CSS button is just below the HTML button.  You can click on one or the other.  I deduce that it gives you the choice to change the properties CSS or HTML.  I know a couple of rudimentary HTML controls.  Perhaps with a bit of research, I can go to the code and change the color of the desired part of the text using HTML code.  There may be some downside to this.  But if it works with and for "BOLD", it should work for the order of the appropriate color.
