  If you are using Internet Explorer 8, it gives you the option to automatically remove your browsing history each time you quit the browser. The type of data that is deleted is dependent on of which options are checked in the delete browsing history.

  Google does not use the Description so much more. You can always add it, and it might be useful to other search engines and other purposes. But Google structured content, good keywordsand values a good title !

  I was wondering if someone could quickly help me in understanding how the development parameters are read in lightroom... (I use lightroom 3.6) that I just had a little bit of panic that my lack of understanding of the system could have missed a bit!

  As I do all my image DIY on a laptop with a small disc, I am often archiving of directories of images to an old server, we have, and then just get on my laptop whenever I need it again. I have a single on my laptop lightroom catalog, and I thought (now I think wrongly!) that all my settings updated is stored only in the catalog of lightroom on my development laptop and so I kept a copy of the original jpeg images hit somewhere so that I could bring my laptop when needed, I could always go back to the version most recently published of my images. Often, I copied an images directory from the server to the laptop, retouched with lightroom, then deleted the jpgs of the laptop thinking that the originals left on the server would be sufficient to restore my work later.

  But recently just before the deletion of a lot of JPGs of the laptop, I did a quick comparison with the server and is horrified realize that the files if it is different, and that changes * are * written in jpeg files! Research in lightroom I have the 'include develop settings in metadata in JPEGs [etc.]' lit.

  My questions would be:

  1 have I lost their jobs by effectively removing metadata from jpeg files or is also preserved in the catalog?

  2 What if some develop settings of an image are stored in the catalog, and a completely different set of development settings have been stored in the file - which should be a priority?

  3. have I screwed up, and if so is there anything I can do to minimize the damage? : {

  1 Lightroom ALWAYS stores the changes in its catalog file.

  2 Lightroom ALWAYS uses changes in the catalog file. The information stored in the JPG file are NEVER used to display the image in Lightroom.

  3. as long as you do not remove the photo from the catalogue, you are well, your changes are present in the file catalog and Lightroom can use those to display the image.

  If you moved the server, using Lightroom (or photos using Adobe Lightroom - find folders and files moved or missing), there is no need to bring your laptop. You can leave photos on the server and access the server and everything works fine

• Bridge 6.2.0.179 does not display the dimensions of the PNG files in the metadata Panel - and can't get off.

  After the upgrade to the last bridge, the metadata panel displays is no longer the width and height of a PNG image. It still works for other types of files, such as jpg.

  I have to use Explorer to get the dimensions for a bunch of PNG. Very inconvenient. I wanted to downgrade the last bridge, but it seems that it is no longer available.

  I tried to completely uninstall the CC (and pref.) and reinstall. No joy.

  Just updated bridge this morning (6.3.0.177) and happy to say on my system (OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) that the dimensions of the png is now displayed after several months of not having at their disposal!

• Preview and publication of a sensitive design project

  I've created a convenient sensitive design project.  When I first introduced in preview the project opened in IE11 and showed the tabs for the different points of view and I could navigate between them.  When I tried again an hour later is just shown in the main display and wouldn't let me see the tabs to see other views.

  Then I tried to publish the sensitive project and when he published the folder does not contain a multiscreen.html or .html or .swf file that I had seen in a tutorial that I had taken.

  An idea about what might happen would be appreciated.  We cannot use the preview in Adobe Edge option inspect because we are not allowed to use a browser Chrome here.

  For a responsive project, you will never have a SWF file, or a multiscreem.html.  The first you get when publishing to SWF format which is not possible for a responsive project, the second get you if the publication both SWF and HTML5, which is also impossible for a responsive project that takes in charge the only possible exit to HTML5.  The tutorial was perhaps not very accurate, or you missed it.

  You can't, unfortunately. You will need to have a process where you collect metadata outside panel Builder Folio and then throw in a sidecar.xml format.

• Metadata profile and the lens do not match

  I have a Fuji X - e1 and the last update from 4.4 LR running on 10.6.8 16 GB of RAM, all operating system up-to-date software.

  The problem is that my RAW of Fuji files do not show the correct lens profile in the develop module. The only choice available to choose is for Fuji X 100 (which I have ever owned or shot). The metadata in the library module are correct for the lens and the camera and also shows correctly in Bridge.

  However, with the same software on Macbook Pro a friend - also 10.6.8 LR 4.4, etc - the lens correctly profile to research the goal of the X - e1 self-correction and 18 mm.

  I uninstalled LR on the desktop using an uninstall program called Zap, downloaded 4.4, reinstalled and still the same "error".

  Any ideas on why 1) error and 2) how to correct?

  There are a lot of profiles for Raw images but much less for JPG images.

  LR will only show profiles of lenses that apply to the file in question format. So when you have a JPG image file profiles for the first images will be not displayed in Lr and vice versa.

  If you do not correct lens profile in your list, you will need to download it.

  For this you need the Adobe Lens profile Downloader.

  And for this program, you need Adobe Air.

  Download two programs from Adobe website - they're free.

  Then, install Adobe Air first and when it is installed, install the Lens profile Downloader.

  After installation just to open, it is explicit and display all available lenses profiles once you have selected your camera and lens makes.

  So here's the problem: I work for a photo journalist/travel photographer to his Lightroom 4 8 TB database.
  Now, for some reason, he wants the CPHI-metadata title, the title and the legend to be the same for each photo. What I mean by that is not simply to give each photo the exact name, but rather have a picture with the title "Machu Pichu for the sunset" also the title ""Machu Pichu for the sunset"and the legend"Machu Pichu for Sunset".»
  So far, I did copy and paste between these boxes (I only usually have a title) for each single photo, but as you can imagine, with 8 TB, this will drive you absolutely crazy.
  What I would like is to have is some kind of metadata Lightroom preset for just take the title and copy and paste it in title and legend to tell. Is it possible that it is possible?

• in bulk metadata "lift and stamp"?

  I have a series of pdf files that I would like to bulk attach metadata to. I would like to 'copy' (or export) a pdf file that I entered these data and in bulk and then 'paste' in about 20 or more other pdf files.

  is there a way to do it and if yes would someone mind telling me the terminology for this operation inside or outside the Acrobat software?

  The Description tab of the properties of a Document in Acrobat 9 Pro, has a button for additional metadata.  Push it reveals a screen where if you choose 'Advanced' there is a button to save the XMP metadata to a file *.xmp.  Two other buttons let you import from such a file: replace all... and add all the...

  You can modify the *.xmp with a text editor before you import it, but this isn't a lot of fun.

  I used the incredible ExifTool to extract specific categories of XMP metadata to a text file to make it easier for others to verify the accuracy of the information.  Note that this is complicated by the fact that different protocols share the same category of information under different names.  I have never tried to have ExifTool put information in a PDF file: call me chicken, but I don't trust no Adobe software could badly manage the complex internal structure.

  Hi, I use TLF text on some of my pages in AS3 flash

  I get a warning (see screenshot below) that my movie will not flow and I have to change some of the parameters of publication to enable streaming.

  

  I don't see where to change the required parameter. This is where I watched (see screenshot below). Am I wrong in the menu? How to use TLF with delivery of streaming as well?

  Click on the key (settings of actionscript) next to the drop-down list script > click the library path tab > in the default binding combobox, select "merged into code".  Repeat the test.

  I think that you are connecting to the Oracle ESB (as a mediator 11g)? In this case, the metadata server refers to the definitions of the repository and the execution server does as its name suggests. In a single node configuration they can run in the same container. But in a configuration of HighAvailability may not run a Metadataserver in a cluster at the same time. The Runtime server can have multiple instances. Thus, these can work in an active configuration / asset. The metadata server must be in a separate container that is configured in active-passive. Whereas if the assets that one goes down opmn may bringup that passive.

• Embeded Flash Player and the latest security updates

  OK, here's the deal up to people last night using the Internet explorer 8 when you visit a Web site, I maintain when he is able to listen to audio very well via the built-in flash player I have on the view. Anyone who has downloaded the latest updates of 4 security which just launched yesterday are not able to listen to the audio stream at all. I tested on a machine that I had not yet updated when installing updates and of course the drive does not work. I have uninstall updates and things work very well. Tell everyone to uninstall updates or switch to Firefox it will be a fix for this particular problem. I already had more than 300 people to send me an email with the same question today.
