End of Windows 7 permission - stop users save files and create folders in the C drive
I am trying to create the image of the construction of Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit machine.
If I check properties of the C drive, go to the Security tab and click the Advanced button, I see not leave of UserGroup is only read and execute authenticated users however have extraordinary and create folders / append permisions data on drive C object. Because of this non admin users can create folders and save files on the C drive I want.
If I remove the permissions for the authenticated users group, even the local administrator is not able to save the files in the C drive or create a folder here.
Please suggest a system of authorisation which may restrict normal users to save data and created folders without screw Windows behavior in C drive.
Sorry, I don't want to store them something on the root of drive C, they should be able to store files and folders in their user profile.
I already gave you an appropriate command to achieve this goal:
Cacls /G C:\ system: F administrators: F domainadmins:F everyone: R

Hello
I keep getting the following error message, and leterally having my computer off over and over again, even if I added 1 GB of RAM (now 3 total RAM) mor and also added a 8 GB SD card as more power:
Close programs to prevent the loss of information. Your computer is low on memory. You save files and close programs. Java (TM) Platform SE binary Windows Media Player
I did research on the various search engines to know that many face the same problem, with a variety of possible solutions, but so far, none work. We suggest that I go to Regedit and change the permissions of the user and then delete the old files, after I import them.
Needless to say, I am just a user and have just a bit of technical knowledge. The local PC repair shop in my town has no idea what to do. For anyone who has a solution to this problem, help will be greatly appreciated!

First of all, unless you know EXACTLY what you do and WHY you do it. I personally recommend never do anything in regedit. I consider myself a moderate to advanced computer user and a moderate user of windows. And I always stay away from regedit, if I can, because you can seriously screw things if you don't know what you're doing... Although, to be honest most of the settings will not have a devastating drama.
It seems to me that this is a memory leak in the program, you will get this error message to make sure that your computer will just crash, because if she is running out of RAM... Well it will crash.
If you have a 2 and a 1 GB for a total of 3 GB, I recommend the upgrade once more and just round up to a nice 4 (this is the most of memory a 32-bit system can handle in total)
Works of memory in a way that you see really only a few performance jump with memory dual channel, the only way to have that is really striking the rods of same in each slot.
There isn't really a reason that this happens every time, except that simply your computer is low on MEMORY, when your computer says this means RAM, not disk memory storage area.
If you clean your computer of the programs you never use and stop using windows media player (itunes is better in my opinion, even if you don't have an ipod), you can see an improvement, but to really isolate the problem, I recommend simply opening your task manager as soon as you start your computer (ctrl + alt + delete usually gives you the option or it opens directly) otherwise you can do start-> RUN taskmgr.exe , OR type taskmgr.exe in the search box and press on enter.
Then, look at the column of memory as I said it sounds like a program has a leak, and you will see that is because memory will begin at low/normal and then numbers just keep climbing...
Also, make sure that your computer recognizes all 3 GB or RAM. in Task Manager if you have access to the performance tab, under physical memory must be a thing called Total, 3 GB = 3074. If this is not an option in your reason, you can go under Accessories/System Tools system information (on the start menu). (may take a while to load) but on the home page, you should see something that indicates the amount of TOTAL PHYSICAL MEMORY. You want to read this / 3GB or 3074 MB.
Hope this helps some!
I recommend to remove all programs, you are ready to, especially those that you never use. Do a complete uninstall. Then start installing windows clean (download google) just to make sure that the program has been removed. then go start--> run msconfig OR just type msconfig in the search and click on go (I don't know if you're running XP or Vista/7)
In the msconfig dialog, you should see a section that says startup. Don't forget to remove programs that you do not first. Disable startup programs, you use every DAY. Don't go turn off all if windows needs some process to run, and some processes don't effect anything. But if you're curious, you should be able to google all of startup items and see what it's related to and why you do or that you don't need.
Good luck! Sorry, I'm everywhere with this response.

Hello
We have Adobe Captivate installed 8.0.0.145 Windows 7 x 64 v.
Activate Adobe crashes with the following error: a fatal error has occurred and the execution of the application took end. Adobe Captivate one attempts to save all of your work in the respective folders of the project as cpbackup files.
I uninstalled Adobe Acptivate, rebooted the PC and reinstalled activate Adobe - unresolved error.
I have cleared the cache under settings, clear the cache - unresolved error.
Please notify.
Kind regards
George
The update should be available to help, updated. It is available since October 2014.
Being administrator is not the same thing as Captivate running as an administrator that must be put in place in the menu right click on the shortcut that launches Captivate. You have restricted functionality if this is not done.
I told you how to clear preferences, with the file Utils. First close Captivate, when you restart CP will create a new preferences folder.
If you have a lot of customization that you will lose when the erasing of the preferences. To keep them, have a look at my blog:
Captivate 8.0.1 Install? Keep your customization! -Captivate Blog
Layouts folder is located in the public Documents. It is a copy of the original folder in the gallery. Same thing with the Interactions.

Thanks for the helpDe : Gary van
This type of error is usually caused by interference from a non compatible anti-virus program. What antivirus do you use? At a minimum, email, scanning in the antivirus must be disabled, but maybe it's not enough to eliminate all the bad effects. In the worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.
If disable your antivirus e-mail analysis feature does not solve your problem, consider upgrading to Windows Live Mail, because it is less sensitive to the suffering of the ill effects of too intrusive antivirus programs: http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
E-mail analysis in any antivirus must be disabled, for the reasons explained here:

Photoshop stopped to save files directly
Hi my photoshop stopped to save files directly. When I save a photo now her take me in my office to save the file instead of save it automatically. Someone has an idea of what has past
I don't know what is happening. If you import a jpeg file and your changes create a layered file, even "layer 0", then it will be saved in a format that supports layers instead of jpeg.
If it is not functional, them I'm not sure what happened past.
You can reset the preferences and see if you get the normal behavior of back:

Help, pleaseStart Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:
If you like Advanced SystemCare software that could restore some files from older versions to protect files against the changes and then check their settings or uninstall this software.

This is my first time using this forum. I hope that my question made its appearance and that this space is to respond to the answers possible, but just in case, here's my question again:
On a PC using Windows and Adobe Reader, I sent 10 PDF files in a zip file and each label of the PDF file with a number from 1 to 10, so that they appear in the order I want. Numbered 1 to 9 records fell in the sequence automatically, but the number 10 appears under the number 1 instead of below the number 9. I googled the problem, do not see addressed. I called Microsoft, and they said it's a matter of Adobe. If anyone can help I would be grateful.
Thank you.
Not an Adobe issue at all. If you want your files to a single digit (1-9) to appear before the 10, you must add a zero at the beginning.

I use the latest versions of Firefox as soon as they are available on a PC in Windows 8. Firefox works fine, usually a few hours before the annoying problems manifest. The problem, that I address here is some widgets, including some widgets Firefox and widgets (such as buttons and selectors menu drop down) isolated in some sites stop functioning. In Firefox, the Menu button (the icon of three dashes stacked) stops working. And the download arrow sometimes stops working too. Sometimes, sub-items as printed stop working. A pull-down, the high and arrow down keys could still work even if I might now be able to select with the mouse. Closing and re-opening Firefox usually restores some functionality. However, I usually have to restart the PC to restore all the functions that has stopped working. So I'm good for usually a few hours yet. Another inconvenience, which others have addressed, is the appearance of Chinese characters - to research on the tab toolbar labels at the top. Restart Firefox gets rid of these for the moment. Thanks for the study.
Philipp,
Thanks for the quick reply and for the advice that you have presented.
I downloaded and installed the graphics driver that you recommended. The process went well. I have hardware acceleration disabled by an earlier recommendation to remove these Oriental characters.
After two days of problem apparently having been fixed, I considered replying to report success. But before I could get around to doing so, abnormal behaviors reappeared. Thanks for confirming the source of these Oriental characters. Previous research indicates that the source was with McAfee or Firefox, a bit like a battle for "pointing the finger" in between.
Best,

This problem may be due to one of the following problems:
- You are using an outdated or corrupted video driver
- System files on your PC can be damaged or do not correspond with other files
- You may have an infection of viruses or malware on your PC
- Some applications or services that are running on your computer may be responsible for Windows Explorer to stop working
Try the following steps:
Method 1:
Try the steps of error: Windows Explorer has stopped working
Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.
Important: the data available on bad sectors may be lost when chkdsk attempts to repair your hard drive.
Note:
Ignore them perform a upgrade in Place the link above.
Also ignore the safe mode and clean boot.
Method 2:
We will try to start the computer in mode low resolution and check the status of the issue.
Low resolution starts Windows using your current video driver, and using the parameters of frequency low resolution and refresh. You can use this mode to reset your display settings.
Refer to the section:
Turn on the video resolution (640 × 480)
You can also check: why is my screen black when I start Windows 7?
Registry warning: the following steps include changing the system registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. How can CD users save files as read-only PDF editable PDF after completing their?
Hello
We have users who use CD player and none of them are able to save regular editable PDF files, PDF files read-only. The only options that appear for the option Save as others are "text' and 'word or excel." In older versions, there is a PDF option here that allow them to record read-only. When you go to save as and recording it in pdf format, it is always editable. There is no other option to save it as Save a Copy as I've seen in other articles. Can you please tell me how this can be done? Thank you.
Hi aprice.impact,
Sign the PDF file use the certificate in Acrobat Reader ms (you'll find it under the Tools tab), to create a digital signature & sign the PDF.
It will secure your PDF & restrict any changes.
Kind regards

I wouldn't pull all the time. You will damage the drive sooner or later.
